The cashiers are friendly and the service is quick. What makes this place a favorite of mine is that they don't get deviated from drive-through orders because they don't have one. Stopped into Starbucks on West Main Street in Freehold today. The sandwich and coffee was very good, but what left an impression was the excellent service provided by Ariria (I hope I spelled her name correctly). She really went out of her way to make sure I had the correct amount of milk in my coffee, was extremely pleasant with me and everyone who entered the store, and when she didn't have a customer she went outside to clean the tables. There were many baristas(4~5) behind the counter and they're still hiring! The business must have been great for this location! A lot of people do mobile orders and pick up from this store. I got my vanilla latte through ordering at the counter, and it was ready earlier than usual, and it's deliciously hot. Indoor was spacious and clean. And stocks were well displayed. The music volume was a little bit high, but you can still get some work done. The customer service was friendly and cheerful. Next time I am around the neighborhood I will visit here again :) read more

I have a closer Starbucks to me than this location, but I drive out of the way here because the service is always better. I feel like this place runs like a pretty well oiled machine. I place my order on the app for pick up and I rarely have to wait when I arrive, it's usually ready which I like. The drinks are consistent which I can't say about other locations. read more

A delightful Starbucks location with a friendly, hard-working staff. I've been going to this Starbucks for over a year and the quality and customer service has always been excellent. The employees are well-trained and do their best to get you your coffee and food as quickly as possible and with a smile. In my opinion Starbucks has the best coffee and this location will not disappoint you. I also would like to point out that their breakfast sandwiches are in my opinion the best breakfast sandwiches you can buy. I usually get a sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin. Delicious! My wife gets some sort of egg whites on whole wheat. She always likes it. They also have an assortment of tasty pastries as well. Always good. Sometimes when this store is very busy the employees are not able to get out in the dining area and wipe down all the tables and replace the creamer etc. It's not from a lack of effort, they're working hard behind the counter, perhaps they could use an extra person during their busiest times. Also the parking lot for this strip mall was not designed in the best way. It's rather tight and you need to be alert. I usually really like this place because the drinks are typically good and the staff is nice. Today I went and they completely messed up my order. I ordered a drink that was supposed to have NO whipped cream but it seems like they doubled up on it. There was so much. And a drink that was supposed to have extra whipped cream had so little. So it is very frustrating how a certain drink at different starbucks comes out so differently Ordered on mobile phone an extra dry (used to have only dry as option) cappuccino. Picked it up and it was heavy and wet. Extra dry is mostly all foam and no liquid milk. When I order in person I add the terms bone dry or all foam and so what you have is two shots of espresso at the bottom of all foam. Drinking espresso try foam. Till the last sip of coffee it actually tastes strong as the foam slowly dissipates. I told the barista it was very heavy and wet and said please make it all foam and no milk. On the reorder it was still a little heavy but acceptable. In the car on the way out of drive I took a sip and to my disappointment though while it was mostly foam apparently she forgot to put two shots of espresso in it and or attempted to use the previous amount already diluted but in any case it was like drinking steamed milk. It's clean, relatively quick sand seems to be well run. The only thing that would benefit them is a drive thru which I can tell is not really possible given their current location. The Freehold Raintree Starbucks is my favorite Starbucks location to frequent.The trend in the area is to remodel Starbucks locations with long tables and with a much more stark feel. Fortunately this location has comfortable seating; large square tables in the back, bar height tables on the side by the door and two large rectangular tables at the front. There are several club chairs and a couch too and plenty of seating outside as well. The store itself is always clean and comfortable. Items are neatly arranged and well stocked. The staff at this location is top notch, friendly and outgoing. The baristas here make an effort to make sure your experience is pleasant. Brian, Justin, Alexis, Arielle,etc... the whole staff is great. They keep the atmosphere relaxed but they are themselves always professional. Whether you're running in for your drink, meeting up with friends or spending too much time at a table studying, I highly recommend this location. The only thing that could make it better is if they were able to offer reserved coffees or the nitro brew, but for your standard Starbucks run this location is nearly perfect. It's Starbucks. You know where you are going and you know what you are getting. However, it's hit or miss with the staff here. They are either amazingly friendly, or have no clue what they are doing. If you have never been here before, be very cautious in the parking lot-particularly during the day. People tend to go a lot faster than is necessary and there is no clear way of getting in or out. The size of it is not too bad, though. There is decent seating both indoors and out, and also a GameStop and Hallmark store in this mini-mall. I have never seen the place dirty, but the staff turnover is very frequent, thus my original statement about the staff being hit-or-miss. Truthfully, I prefer the Howell location better. It is located in a parking lot adjacent to a supermarket and right next door to a GameStop and Hallmark off a main road on the way to the local Freehold Raceway mall. Nearby coffee competition from Dunkin Donuts and Panera. Menu: same as everywhere else. They are currently promoting the Christmas blend, Caramel Brulee Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Peppermint Mocha. Good selection of food items. Drinks are prepared well. Ambiance: when you enter the door, there are large displays of for-sale items along the wall and in the center of the store. To the right, there are about 4-5 tables and comfortable chairs for sitting along the window. There are also about 4-5 smaller, round tables to the back of the store near the bathrooms. There are a couple of outdoor tables. Wireless is free and the connection is good. Limited electrical outlets for plugging in your laptop. Some people come to sit and do work here, but there is also a large number of patrons that come in for coffee-to-go, especially during the lunch hours. Staff: very friendly. I saw someone spill coffee on themselves and the staff immediately ran over with some ice for the person's hand. You don't see that everywhere! Plenty of parking! If in the area, I would definitely come back. And since there are limited coffee shops where you can sit and do work and get free wifi in this area, that is definitely an attraction. read more

This is my go-to Starbucks. I love this location! The parking can be a tad annoying at times depending on the time of day you go, but I always manage to find a spot. It's kind of small inside not a lot of room to hang out if that's what you're looking for. There are a few tables outside on a nice day it serves as a perfect sitting area. The wait lines are never ridiculously long like some other locations. And the staff are always friendly which I particularly appreciate. Lastly, I've never had a bad cup of coffee from this place! My drinks always come out perfect and if they do not, the baristas are more than willing to fix it. I tend to have a few issues with the short middle-aged woman who typically works at the counter. I believe her name is Rina. She constantly makes ordering super confusing and sometimes messes up the order completely or charges my app twice for one drink. I spoke out and the barista informed me that they ordered the same type of drink as the people in front of me.
