A good sized Starbucks with a drive thru. Well staffed with friendly baristas. Fully accessible. Cozy modern ambiance with multiple seating arrangements. Food and drinks are both up to the expected standards though drinks come out much faster than the food. Parking can be a little awkward with a sloped lot. read more

Where do I begin? Leah and John are always friendly! Love how the entire staff is upbeat and they know you by name. Drink is perfect every time. This type of service has me looking forward to my first cup of coffee every day! Lane read more

Masked employees and super speedy in mid-afternoon. Came to have a study session at the outdoor seating (only one table but I got lucky!). Right next to a busy phone store on the Mag Mile so it's anything but quiet, but it was what I needed. Lots of pride for pride month displayed inside...love to see it! Ordered for pickup from my phone and didn't speak a word to anyone. Would def return. read more

Starbucks - Pride display in Starbucks store. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Frederick, Maryland

This is a nice Starbucks cafe. The cashier was friendly and asked if I had any questions. I told her what I preferred in a coffee drink and she described all the seasonal choices and made suggestions. I loved this!! There are several seating options; tables & chairs, or arm chairs. My friend and I sat comfortably for over an hour and enjoyed the atmosphere of customers coming and going & the smell of coffee brewing. The crème brûlée latte was delicious. I do suggest dimming or repositioning the "eyeball" lights in the ceiling. They are very bright and point down into your eyes. read more

2 delightful baristas worked together Saturday evening to help me navigate ordering a drink with food allergies. Quickly made me a delicious dairy free vanilla bean frappucino. Both of them were very kind and helpful. read more

I get it- it's a Starbucks in target. But these folks are the slowest least attentive reps ever. Girl with the blue hair always just laughing and people just stare in disbelief and the slow service. Zero crap given like of 14 people and they back there laughing read more

Even though I usually have to make a U-turn on 40 to get here, this is still my Starbucks of choice in Frederick. I just like that is not overly pretentious, kind of a no-frills location, in a good way. The staff are all really pleasant, friendly, and cool. The location is not typically crazy busy at the times I go, which I appreciate, plus they are open pretty late. Being beside a FedEx Kinkos is surprisingly convenient in a pinch. There's never a bunch of teenagers at this Starbucks, which is a major plus for me. I love the view of the mountains (albeit looking across 40) when sitting outside here. Sometimes, you a can catch a nice sunset as well. read more

This is a small but very efficient Starbucks. The parking here is the reason for the four stars. The lot is very small and it is shared with 4 other business including a shipping store which gets very busy. The mobile service here is always on point and the coffee is brewed fresh but I struggle to make it to this location just because it's so hard to park. I have parked in lots for other business but get worried because of signs that cars parked that are not patrons of the business could be towed. read more

Starbucks - Help yourself - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Frederick, Maryland

Made an impromptu pit stop here before heading to DC. I really enjoyed this Starbucks!! The barista, a gentleman, was so friendly and funny. He was cheerful, attentive and calling out the regulars as soon as they walked through the door. A few of them had their order already rang up before they reached the register. What a memory! Very impressive. Our drinks came out quickly and we're made correctly. What more could you ask for? Thanks for making the drive a bit easier! read more

I come here regularly. At first I wasn't much of a fan, but now that the staff changed, I like it more. The cashier they had before seemed kind of crabby (and not on just one occasion) and didn't seem happy to even be there. Recently when I have gone, Ellie and Chris (both baristas) have been there and now my Starbucks experience is a whole lot better. I usually get the Chai Latte and they make it great. The other day I wanted to try something different so they recommended the London Fog Tea Latte since they knew I was a Chai Latte fan. It was a great recommendation! Ellie and Chris alway great with a smile and great customer service. read more

9/13 approximately 6:15a. I just left the gym & pulled up to this location for a cup of coffee. There were only two women in the store, both were placing the clear trash bag liner in the bins, front & rear of the store. I observed them for 3 minutes talking and handling the trash bins. A vehicle pulled up, a mid age women went into the store. The lady in front with pony tail turned around & started to take her order & service the customer. NO HANDS WERE WASHED!!!Although I didn't see them emptying the trash; PERCEPTION is everything! How can you handle the trash bin, then service customers & handle food w/o washing your hands?! read more

I went in this morning to get my coffee as I normally do and the girl was so rude because I asked her a question the coffee for buying a Venti it being half empty when I picked up was not cool and she had total major attitude because she threw it in the sink and then remade me another one but totally not cool rude rude rude rude rude! read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in Frederick! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's difficult to access unless you're traveling eastbound on Rt 40, and there is limited parking. This is a busy store, but there is rarely a long wait, the line moves pretty quick! The indoor seating area is sun-filled with industrial height ceilings, and a pretty decent sound system. In addition to the standard table/chairs There are several big armed comfy chairs you can sink into and relax for a while, maybe check out the NY Times. Outside there are 3 or 4 small tables set up, overlooking the mountain range and busy Rt 40, but surprisingly it's really not too loud. It's a fun place to sit and watch all the foot traffic in and out of the store, the occassional police pursuit, hot rods and motorcycles traveling down Rt 40. read more

Sat., 3/19 at approx 12:55pm. Good locale. However, their WiFi (connected to for checking apps on my iPad) keeps dropping off. read more

Typical Starbucks. Good coffee, pastries, etc. It can be a pain to access this location due to its location. However, I drive out of town of eastbound Rt. 40 every day, so it's easy enough for me. There are two "downsides" to this location. Parking can be scarce and seating inside can be scarce as well. read more

First time at this Starbucks. Ordered my usual drink: Venti Matcha Lemonade, light ice. Instead of ice they added water to my drink. I received a watered down lemonade. Tasted horrible. Thanks! read more

Extremely friendly staff and great service!! The man at the register is extremely personable and greets you with a smile. There was a small delay for our oatmeal and he surprised us with a $5 gift card! Extremely thoughtful and generous and certainly not what we expected. The Starbucks disappoints in one respect: it does not offer any newspapers to purchase!! No New York Times, no local newspaper, nothing. It feels like this Starbucks location lost part of it soul. It's very upsetting. read more

I went here today to get my self some coffee it was really good the custermer was good the only problem for this Starbucks is that theres not a lot of parking but its ok i recommend this Starbucks. I forgot to say is that the prices are kinda high read more

Terrible Starbucks; consistently understaffed, so you have to wait forever. My husband and I stopped in about 2:50 pm on a Tuesday. They weren't even that crowded and our drinks weren't ready until 3:20! A lot of angry people were waiting around for drinks. Additionally, the parking lot is small and always full and it's hard to get to if you're on the wrong side of route 40. There are other Starbucks in Frederick; go to those instead. read more

Good little place. The demeanor of the baristas was quirky cool and they were willing to help out. I ordered my Tall Earl Grey Tea and by some fluke I received a Venti. The water was extra-hot, so I took the moment to add some half-and-half to the tea and let it steep. Oh so good. They were some good people. read more

Great service and has the best Chai Latte. Prices are a little high for an everyday visit, but once in awhile its worth the splurge!

I've come here a lot and the drinks have always been good. Today, the cashier thought they had multigrain bagels but they had run out after I had ordered one. He made sure I was alright with a plain bagel and handed me a Starbucks card for a free visit next time. I highly recommend this Starbucks! read more

Fantastic customer service at this location. Staff always friendly and patient with customers. Special shout out to Maxwell his above and beyond customer service! read more

This was by far, the friendliest Starbucks I've ever been in. The guy who took my order was so charismatic. He made buying coffee SO much fun! This store isn't on my usual route, but in the future I'd go out of my way for that kind of atmosphere! read more

I have mixed feelings about Starbuck's in general. I think their prices are crazy. This location is ok. The staff is friendly and it is clean. They do have a good supply of the sugars etc if you need Extra. It seems a little dark inside. Not sure if that is how they want it. read more

Ok so I do love their Iced Caramel Machiato! I would get it everyday if it wasn't so expensive I started going to Dunkin Donuts to get their iced coffees and they are delicous and fairly priced. When it comes to coffee I don't have to have the best...But food...Food better be on point ! read more

I have given this Starbucks many opportunities and they continue to disappoint. I live in Walkersville and used to pass by several other locations to go to this one, mainly because of their lead person who was amazing. I can't remember his name but he was so full of energy and greeted everybody. That is no longer the case, you're lucky to even get a good morning. I don't really care about any of that, my biggest complaint is they fail to make my drink correctly time after time after time.! Because of Covid you can no longer add your own cream and I order it with light cream but they continue to make it almost white, I want to taste the coffee here people! Then when I am so rude as to ask for it to be remade because it's so disgusting, I get comments like it just came out! I wasn't asking when it came out I was asking if when they see my name from now on because I order from here frequently they could remember that I like light cream, instead he grabbed a drink threw it in the sink and remade it. Placed it on the bar said nothing like I'm sorry you had to wait or I'm sorry I failed to read the instructions etc. etc. Typically I wouldn't be so irritated but this is probably the 10th time I've gotten this drink this way twice I've asked for it to be remade and both times I've made been made to feel as if it was somehow my fault. When you charging $3.89 for A simple iced coffee that all you need to do is put two sweet and lows in and a dribble of creamer, am I really asking so much? It's frustrating, and I think I'll probably just start drinking coffee from my house instead of trying to figure out which Starbucks is on their game and which one is not. Also the outside of their building is disgusting, I consistently have to walk through trash in the parking lot that very often I will pick up, do you none of these employees see this when they are going into their work location? And how about the front door, in a pandemic don't you think maybe we should be wiping the doors and the handles those doors don't look like they have been wiped down in years. The inside of this building is fine but the outside is disgusting! read more
