I've been to a lot of Starbucks locations over the years, and one thing that's always been consistent is that when I ask for no ice in a cold brew or black coffee, they'll fill the cup to the top. It's a small but appreciated courtesy, especially when you're paying premium prices for a basic drink. At this location, I ordered a simple cold brew with no ice, and they handed it to me with nearly 3 inches of empty space at the top, basically the amount they would've left if there were ice in it. That might not seem like a big deal to some, but when you're just pouring black coffee with no mixers, milk, or syrups, it really feels like they're cutting corners for no reason. You're not asking for extra, just the actual amount of coffee the cup should hold when not filled with ice. When I asked politely if they could just top it off with a bit more coffee to fill the cup, they refused. It wasn't about being out of product or following a specific recipe--it just came off as a refusal to provide basic customer service. It's disappointing because this kind of thing adds up over time, and it just gives off a cheap, penny-pinching vibe that doesn't reflect the experience I'm used to at other Starbucks locations. I get it if this were a complicated drink or something where proportions matter, but this was just a plain pour of coffee. If I'm paying full price, I expect a full cup, ice or not. If you're already on your way off base, you might as well avoid this place altogether. The way the workers act here is unfortunately similar to the culture you see with many civilian workers on base, where it feels like screwing over service members is just business as usual. read more

I've always had a good experience with them. If something is wrong they're quick to fix the problem.

Temper your expectations when you come here. You're on a military base who's primary population is students in a training status. This isn't your favorite coffee shop back home, it's a Starbucks. They heat premade food and serve bulk coffee. Sometimes it's slow, sometimes there's 43 people in line, sometimes it's empty. I usually order a venti cold brew black and it comes out within 2 minutes, even in high traffic. Enjoy your Fast Food Coffee and move on. read more

This has got to be the poorest staff I've ever encountered in a Startbucks. They are rude to customers, and exceptionally nasty with each other. This is the third time I've been here and the employees are constantly bickering, snapping out sarcastic comments, refusing to help each other, and then turning their attitudes with each other towards the customer. A huge part of the reason people pay $5 or more for a coffee is the experience. read more

I complained earlier (see review below) about this Starbucks and was sent a gift card worth 5 bucks (gift card # 6128-0436-2808-4540), but that was for direct contact through the Starbucks web site. Wouldn't you know the Starbucks I presented the gift card to wouldn't take it ! Starbucks won't take their own gift card. I didn't necessarily want a freebie but I always accept it as another test of customer service. Starbucks failed this test of customer service. read more

Service here sucks absolutely ridiculous. Staff is unfriendly, slow, and acts like they don't want to be there. But what do you expect from PX Food service?! This is by far the worst I've seen of on post food service. When they manager is there they try to be polite and move a decent speed. Yesterday we got there an hour or so before closing. She didn't greet us, took our order, made the drinks as if she didn't want to work, threw the blender in the sink and just about slammed everything else she could while making the drinks. She also made one of our drinks wrong and we ordered the same thing for my husband and I. Worst part after witnessing all of that from this employee she put way too much ice in our drinks so instead of getting the caramel frapp that we had paid for we basically got a cup full of ice. She made so much that there was extra left over in the blender. Then when she gave us the second drink she asked oh was this supposed to have caramel in it too?? Well it's to late to ask that isn't it you already messed up our order. Won't be returning to this location it's not the first time that's happened at this location either. read more

This Starbucks usually does a decent enough job - though they seem to take a little longer on average. Today 09/19/2017 they were scheduled to open at 0800 and didn't finally open until 0830. When they did the server took the orders of our group of four (and one more who had showed up while waiting). Of or group of for, she made multiple mistakes on 3 of our 4 orders. (One ordered a drink that he asked to have cold and she began making a hot drink and also overcharged him, and she over charged the other two of us.) In addition, we wound up waiting almost 25 min for our orders. It seems to me that one of the two staff members was training be other which is why they didn't seem to be operating at their usual 75-80% efficiency. read more

This is one of the worst Starbucks I've been to. I've been to dozens and dozens and this is top ten bad. Service sucks. Quality sucks. Attitude sucks. Store is dirty. Staff are untrained and don't know how to make simple orders. This is based on 4 separate visits. It's one of the only Starbucks for Fort Benning and it's crap. Worst Starbucks EVER! I travel for my job and have gotten a caramel macchiato - frapped with whip cream at SB in airports, shopping malls, stand alones and on military posts. Ive had some poorly made drinks but NEVER THIS BAD before. AND i had to pay EXTRA for whip cream??? Since when??? $6.50 for a tall drink... And I'm not in a foreign country!! IF it had any ice it sure as heck wasn't frapp-ed, and my measly amount of whip cream was smooshed into the drink with a regular flat lid. I would have been better off stopping at Dunkin Donuts to get an iced coffee!! The customer service was sub par as well. Starbucks HQ plan in a sad-face gram written on disapproving kitty letterhead! I don't think that this Starbucks location has the best training because it's on a military installation. The baristas are not pleasant and every time I order a more complex drink, they never turn out right. When I say complex, I say anything that has anything more than just coffee, like a latté or a macchiatto. This is definitely something that Starbucks corporate might want to take note of since Fort Benning is such a large installation and people see Starbucks and still want the Starbucks money are paying Starbucks prices. Slow, Slow, Slow, Slow and Slow Service. I was the first customer in line and ordered a small fru fru coffee. I waiting for my coffee for 10 minutes while the training barista was scolded over wearing earrings. First of all why would you correct an employee in front of customers and spat out Starbucks policies while customers wait for their drinks. Unprofessional and why does it take so long to get your drink? I have been there a few times, not much choice on post, and it has always been a wait busy or not. We don't have all day especially those of us in uniform. read more

Just about everyone works here are so RUDE, you can tell they are not trained properly. Most unpleasant Starbucks I been to, hope management does something about it, but they are not going to because its inside Military base. Why are they hiring pissed off people to serve their customers who pay $5 for coffee ? Staffs are very slow and not very intelligent... they act like so pissed that you are there to order bothering their time, so sad... Militray deserves better service than regular joint but this place is worse I ever seen. read more
