Seating is minimal and customer service is attentive with a unusual amiable welcoming manner. For the first time, outside of my high pressure workplace environment, outside of my chaotic home life, outside my daily super commute, and outside of time I felt at peace while checking my email. The sweetness was perfect, and it wasn't icy like Frappuccinos sometimes get as you finish your drink. My boyfriend got the Grande Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino. I had a sip of it, and it was nostalgic because it tasted exactly like it tasted years ago when I used to get the drink all the time. There wasn't a lot of seating, but it looked like it was just enough for the steady flow of people that came in. I like this location. It's right on the Blvd which is convenient. They don't have too much seating here but I feel like this is more of a grab your stuff to go location. There is a subway stop and a bus stop all right on the same block or the next one so it can get pretty busy in the mornings. The staff here are great though as they are good at keeping the line moving. The pick counter is right by the front door. There is some seating here, tables and some counter seating as well. Always friendly staff here. They have the fancy Reserve coffee for when you feel like a treat. I got the espresso bold of the day with almond milk today and the smoked bacon and egg for brunch. Starbucks is my go to coffee place and this is one of the really good ones in New York City. They've helped many of us treat ourselves during the pandemic. read more

Today, July 30/2024, at 2:20 pm, I was treated horribly by the cashier. I asked for a coffee with milk and she gave it to me black, and then I told her again that I wanted it with milk. She gave me the milk in a separate cup and she gave it to me with a bad and angry attitude and told me to leave the cash register. I think she is the manager of the place. What can a customer expect with such a rude employee? Starbucks should pay attention to customer service so as not to have such bad experiences. read more

Service is definitely slow here but more importantly it's not very accurate. Recently ordered three drinks here and 2 of the 3 visually was not accurate. Asked for less ice and received a drink with a cup FULL of ice. Asked for no whipped cream and got a drink topped with whipped cream. Informed them about the latter and the whip was just scrapped off which would be fine except they needed to reapply the sauce on top (Yeah, yeah the drink wasn't for me). read more

This is a convenient spot to pick up some coffee, since its about a stone's throw away from the train station. I normally just get a regular cup of coffee, rarely do I get any of their sugary drinks. It's just not coffee anymore at that point. I have tried some of the sugary stuff when it's on 'sale' during the holidays or whatever promotion they have going. Just to see how it tastes. It's usually not consistent at all. You never know what you are going to get. The staff is nice, service is fairly quick. Depending on when you go. The morning rush is going to be a bit on the slow side. Today I got a regular coffee with extra room on top for milk. What I got was a full cup of coffee with no room on top. So I had to spill the coffee out to make room. What a waste. For $2 coffee I would assume it would be good. But it was not good at all. I rather just go across the street to get a decent cup at a local establishment, than to support this over commercialized place with mediocre coffee. read more

This location has always been clean every time I've visited. I generally do mobile order, and is always ready for pickup whenever I arrive. Staff are always friendly and answer any menu questions I have (about half appear to know about the secret menu). My favorite go to barista used to be Angel, but sadly, he is no longer there. Still haven't gotten to know the other Baristas names, but the tall Asian guy I see at the register during the weekdays is usually very patient with me. Consistent service, the coffee always has a good caffeine kick. When I've gone there to pick up a salad for lunch, the ones they have stock generally look fresh, and days before the best-by-date. I believe they rotate their stock regularly and check the dates. I never used their bathroom, so I can't comment on that personally; however, my colleague who has used them has told me that they're not kept clean enough, so know before you go. read more

a decent starbucks in forest hills on queens blvd which was my hangout for 2 hours while i was waiting for cuz and his lady nearby watching tennis matches . good amount of seating even with a small interior , full array of beverages and good amount of eats on display if you desire. nice staff and place is really clean and neat. give me a large decaff cappy , a tuna on a baugette and free strong wifi, comfy seat and i promise not to say a word while waiting. the gal who made my drink gets 4 stars on my yelp meter and i did dooze off for a bit while staring at the night stars outside. read more

3.5 stars. Baristas here are above average compared to other sbux. These cats remember my order. Even have asked me if I didn't mean my usual order when I've given them a change up. And this is fro. More than one of the cashier folks. To me, this typically means the likelihood of them messing up your order is minimal. Big positive. Worst feeling is when ur order is messed up. Only negative is the register setup. When the line gets long its a quite cramped by the door. That's why the minus half star. Otherwise, bathrooms rarely not in service. Above average cleanliness compared to other sbux. Smell is abt average tho. But its a working bathroom that you won't hate urself for using. Not the case at many sbuxs. read more

I don't have a problem with the coffee here... But this location really is the most poorly structured Starbucks I've ever been too. The counter area has little to no space for a line, so the line is usually a confused cluster. More often than not, there are 2 people behind the cashier taking orders while only 1 person is making drinks. The milk/sugar station is always dirty with spilled coffee and milk everywhere. Luckily I drink my coffee black and don't go to the station... But it's still off putting. Definitely not my fave, but being the only coffee shop within the 5-block radius, it'll do. This is one of my local Starbucks that I don't frequent as much as others in my neighborhood that are closer. However, when I do come to get my quick drink I never have to wait a long time. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. I remember the first time I wanted to try their chai tea and didn't realize there were two different teas (Oprah and non Oprah, LOL) to choose from. The barista, Jeffrey gave me a complimentary spiced chai to try and it was yummy. Of course I went back and tried the regular which was ok but now I love the spiced. I see a lot of people take advantage of the few seats they have in the small store because there's always people reading, with their gadgets or just chilling. This Starbucks has become a regular study place. Now that they have a security guard in front of the Law library at SJU, this is the next best thing for a change of scenery. Besides studying at home gets distracting. Always friendly barista's. Coffee's great, and I usually find a seat or two. But like all Starbucks customers they will move them to allow you to sit on other side with a smile. People do sit there for hours and hours I have seen so many times people holding interviews there etc. But progressive Starbucks allows people to sit for hours only ordering coffee. Coffee addicting.
