One of my favorite Starbucks. I've never had a problem here. I order online, come in, grab and go. As simple as A,B,C and 1,2,3! Staff are friendly but hard workers. This coffee shop is located in the hustle and bustle of El Segundo. So, there are people always coming and going especially in the morning time. I come to this Starbucks often because I'm in the area several times a week. When I walk by with my dog, Charlie, he always hopes and insist for a pup cup. I frequently make purchases here, though not every single time we pass by--sometimes I've already had coffee or plan to return later. I fully understand store policies and have no issue being told "no." What I do have an issue with is how I was treated. On one visit, a barista rolled her eyes at me. On a more recent visit, a barista named Jennifer spoke to me in an aggressive and dismissive manner and ultimately told me to leave the store, despite me remaining calm and respectful throughout the interaction. Her behavior escalated after I made a purchase and then returned to request a pup cup, which did not warrant the hostility I received. I asked to speak with the manager, and Jasmine handled the situation professionally and with understanding, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the interaction with the barista was unnecessary and humiliating. This location appears to lack consistency in professionalism and basic courtesy. Likely the Worst Starbucks location in ALL of South Bay, El Segundo and LAX airport area based on foul and uncaring attitude of baristas and cashiers namely "RYANN" on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 4:40 p.m. Pacific time. I never expected the POOR treatment she gave me as well as all baristas uncaring actions surrounding her at the counter and beverage prep area. There were only two (2) patrons customers in front of me, so I stepped aside next to the pastry shelves to help form a line to the cashier. That seemed only appropriate normal and friendly as a thing to do. When the 2 customers in front of me were checked out and waiting for their drinks, a woman walked in from the front door and BOLDLY BLOCKED my steps, I told her "There is a line. I am next." Not even looking into my face, she pulled out her phone and said I ordered online and want a refund. RYANN was the employee in charge of the line at the time and she really allowed this boisterous person with her iPhone to step in front of me and everyone behind me waiting to order and coordinated her business with RYANN not even looking at me or the people waiting behind me in LINE. RYANN did not try to manage the customer service issue and proceeded to take the intruder's order, give her a refund and EVEN CHECKED OUT HER CASUAL PASTRY "ADD ON" which delayed all of us even further. RYANN did nothing to organize anyone in line. Instead she "APOLOGIZED TO THE INTRUDER" for the 'inconvenience' of stepping ahead of me and three (3) others. RYANN is pictured here. I felt so offended and this just wasn't right. When I stepped forward after being interrupted and pushed back by this careless person I told RYANN "That was NOT APPROPRIATE." RYANN SAID NOTHING. So I just took her photo, attached here, and stated, "This goes DIRECT ONLINE." She shrugged her shoulders and said, NEXT! Don't go to this Starbucks at El Segundo for any reason ever. Ordered two drinks via app around 10:30am. My order wasn't ready upon arrival. It still needed extra time even though I showed up 20 minutes after placing the order. The drinks itself had way too much ice in the cups. I ordered it with less ice too. The location also has no drive thru and parking is tight. Something to keep in mind. The store is walking distance from the hotels nearby. I would recommend it to those who aren't in a rush and also don't have a car because you're traveling. read more

He was so patient, nice and helpful. The bathrooms are clean and smell good. This is a great sign of a well run coffee place. The staff are friendly and busy working. Went Friday morning. The guys working there were all nice and prompt. Place was clean and drinks were made perfectly.

I ordered my usual venti iced coffee with four pumps of liquid sugar and a splash of almond milk. My drink came out perfect and I was happy with it. My daughter on the other hand had ordered a drink and she didn't like it and requested they add an ingredient. The cashier/barista told her she would have to order again and paid for a 2nd drink. I was outside in the car when this happened and I couldn't believe the cashier made her pay again. Mobile ordered because it always super busy in the mornings. I had ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso and added not to put cinnamon. I went on my 10 minute break to pick up my drink so I was in a hurry. I went it & my drink was ready but once I was already back at work, I took a sip of it & it HAD CINNAMON. Super disappointed since it's peak season and coffee is an essential. I'm allergic to cinnamon so I wasn't able to drink it and had no time to go back to ask for them to remake it. What great timing. I was in the mood for a salted caramel hot chocolate one morning and got lucky to be gifted S*Bux GC from my Secret Santa. Located in an industrial area, I expected this place to be a bit busy. But I gotta say they were efficient. They were getting those drinks done in good time, so I didn't expect to be there for long. My cashier, Ivy, welcomed me with a smile once my turn came around. I asked if they had the salt+caramel add-on since some branches don't have it. She took her time to check before giving me an answer, "Yes we do!" Venti salted caramel hot chocolate it is. With whipped cream. I know I previously said I would stop trying S*Bux food offering, but felt I gotta give it one more try - at least from this branch. So, I added a bacon gouda sandwich to go with my drink. Sat down and played the waiting game. There was a few peeps ahead of me, but as previously mentioned, they were pretty efficient. Person in charge of food called me out after a couple of minutes. Unlike her, the person calling out names for drink orders wasn't loud enough to be heard by people even 5 feet away from him. I know I didn't. If I didn't go check on that one drink sitting at the counter for more than a couple of minutes, I would have not known I was good to go. VERDICT. The sandwich would have been good except for the egg part. It literally felt like it crumbled with every bite which tells me this, like all the other eats I've had at other S*Bux spots, is warmed from a frozen state. The gouda cheese has lost all its natural flavor which is the end result if it has been previously frozen. The bread was on the dry end of the spectrum. Clearly, the only good thing was the bacon. My hot chocolate was delicious EXCEPT 1) There was no whipped cream, and 2) It wasn't full. (See attached picture.) WTH?!??!?! So, there's no better way to say this - I got gypped! FOOD: 2. SERVICE: 4. (Bumped up a bit because of how nice Ivy was.) VALUE: 2.5. ($8 and change for both. Nope.) PARKING: Private lot. Shared. If you come in the morning, a space will always be available. OVERALL: 2.75. Seriously, Starbucks in general need to work on their (heated) breakfast menu. They charge and arm and a leg for subpar eats! The service has always been quick with a smile and occasionally they get someone who is new that is slow slow slow. Beyond that, this is a great location. What is also great about this location what I have recently noticing??? HOT GUYS! The guys, my fellow Starbucks customers, are pretty HOT. I ordered my usual ice coffee grande in a venti cup and as I was waiting, I looked to my left, that is one pretty handsome asian guy! Then I look to my right, that is another sexy white guy. Then I look some more, oh that guy kinda looks like Orlando Bloom's twin. So I am wife and mom of 2 toddler sons but I couldn't help but look. I really wish my single gal friends and co workers were standing next to me. My advice for all of you single ladies, the guys that frequent here are not only good looking but most likely very smart and successful. In the area there is Boeing, Raytheon, Northrop, Mattel, Various Airlines, LA Kings training center, etc... Not much to say about this location, except for the hours! I was so surprised when I walked in, "an empty Starbucks? On a Saturday afternoon? What the hell??" So I go up to the counter, order my Americano, gave my name, and waited around. Turns out it was empty because they were about to close. This is the first Starbucks I've ever been to that closes at 130p on a Saturday. I suppose due to the location (it's in a small plaza surrounded by what appear to be offices) this chain closes early. M-F they close at 730p if I recall, and on Sundays they are CLOSED all day. Also, I gave the barista my name, but I wasn't called that my order was ready. My gf and I were the only ones there, so I figure that was why, but every Starbucks let's you know your drink is ready so this place threw me off a bit. Seems to be kept really clean. read more

MOBILE ORDERS ARE HORRIBLE! So if you work in the area like I do, order 30 to 45 minutes ahead if you want to get to work on time. Not cool with the constant waiting with mobile orders. Well, I've been coming here since they have opened. Is Starbucks an American icon? Typically, most see the green logo and huddle, cuddle, herd to this franchise to be seen. For me, I just need a stronger cup of coffee, than what is brewed at the office. I'm not into the fancy stuff, but just a Venti BOLD. Occasionally when the guys stop at a Starbuck, our chests stick out, our chins rise, our strut lengthens and we all yell doppio. Sure its in a small cup, but like at a bar, we hoist it up, we cheers (to no ladies around, doing manly things), consume to drink, slam the cup down and proudly walk out of the store happy. I love it when you can walk into an establishment and they pour and have your beverage ready without you asking, just like being on 'Cheers'. Is it a gamble that you may want something else? No, I know what I want first thing in the morning, but this is coffee I'm talking about today. The two guys there on weekday mornings are great. This spot is tucked in a new food court in the new office complex area next to the soccer park. As with any Starbucks, they have WiFi service for a price, but if you are an ATT home internet subscriber, it's free, just log on. Plot this tucked away place in your GPS and give them try. There have been a couple of times where they messed up the order, but they gave us a free order the next time to make up for the mistake. I like when my coffee tastes exactly the same each time and some Starbucks tend to taste different depending on who is making the drink. I take a little walk every morning to stay heathy and to loose a little weight. This is my local Starbucks so I always stop by there on my walks. I got just a plain coffee to keep my energy going. This is a special Starbucks as they have a drive through so it's always super crowded and the car line is out of this world. The staff is always so nice and super accommodating. I came in with my grandkids before and asked them if they can split the drink. The cashier informed that even though they can't do it for me they will instead give me an extra cup to do it myself. This was good as I know my grandkids shouldn't be drinking very much. Haha There is always plenty of parking available. I will definitely keep coming back. read more

Hello all, I wanted to let everyone know about the great service that is given at this Starbucks. The other day I had order 2 egg, cheddar, and cheese sandwiches. Later, after I had already left the store I found out that I only received 1 of the 2 sandwiches I ordered so I called their store and spoke with thier Store Manager Laura. As I was explaining what happened she was very attentive to what i was saying. She first apologized for the incovenace and remebered who I was because she was on duty. She told me to return and that she will give me a refund on my purchase. I returned the next day and she really took care of me. This Starbucks is pretty busy. I typically don't hang around as I just want my coffee to start the day or to keep me going. Like most people, I'm an A.. until I get my coffee. Just kidding. I think. Anyways, my preferred brew is a venti Blonde in the morning or a dark roast in the afternoon. I'm not a coffee snob but do enjoy a good cup of joe. This particular location was cleaner than what one would expect given the foot traffic here. The workers were considerably nice and did a fair job at moving the customers. Even then there was a long line. Like any other Starbucks, the quality is the same no matter where you go. I think it's the service that makes people want to give it 3 or 4 or 5 stars. Before coming here I went to the Starbucks on rosecrans in Manhattan beach and bought a Strawberry Acai which was watered down. Because, my mom needed to go to the Noah's Bagels next door since the one in Manhattan Beach didn't have what she wanted I decided to walk in to this Starbucks an see what they could do. THE TALL: Gotta return the love for my favorite starbucks. THE VENTI: I know 5 stars for a bucks sounds stupid but this place holds a bit of nostalgia for me. This is where it all started. I would come to this Bux because it was next to my office. Over time my addiction grew and I was coming every morning to get my fix. The great staff here started remembering my name and drink before it even occurred to me that I was a regular. That 's why its only right that I return the love. A lot of the original staff I grew to know moved on and I've had to explain how I like my drink to the new guys but they are all good friendly people. This location gets a majority of its business from the surrounding offices and buildings so they have a busy morning rush and some activity around lunch. The indoor has a few comfy couch seats and regular tables. There's also a lot of outdoor seating in the plaza. TIP: If you plan on enjoying your beverage in-store ask for your drink in the glass mugs. read more

The convenience to my office is why this Starbucks is at the top of my list, the staff also makes it a very great experience time and time again. Seasonal items are displayed right as you walk it making it an inviting location, and since it is so close to my office its often a mini reunion of friends each and every time I visit. The only downside to this location is that it seems rather small and dark inside sometimes making it feel like a little cave. Other than that this location is top notch. read more
