They kept making me a macchiato with coffee grounds in it. After the 2nd one, the barista became agitated and kept telling me that it couldn't be coffee grounds--that the black particles in my macchiato were something else...uh ok..even if that's the case..SHOULD THEY BE THERE?! December 2020 My Starbucks experience at this location was fine. Neutral in a positive way. With the pandemic visiting any Starbucks drive-thru takes 20+ minutes to get a drink, even when ordering ahead through their app. So, that was my experience here. I did encounter friendly costumer service, and everything I ordered was really really good. I decided to visit and wait in line because as a 202" Gold member with a Starbucks Credit Card every weekend this December you get 2 handcrafted drinks any size for free. Cheers and Enjoy. The Starbucks is pretty good. It is noisy sitting outside since it is right off of I10. Service was excellent from the staff and I have no complaints. I am not a coffee drinker but my wife loves coming here. I normally opt for the chai tea. It is a good place when conducting business since they have wifi. read more

Holy moley! What a change! My previous review outlined all these little things that were slowly killing me at this Starbucks and I'd say half of these things are fixed. And so you don't have to go through my previous review...here are the things that are still questionable: #10: Why is the wi-fi ridiculously slow when I'm the only one using it, but when there's 5 or 6 other people here using up the bandwidth it runs perfectly? #7: Why are the outlets all hidden here? #6: Why is there another Starbucks in the same parking lot (in Albertsons, but really...are we, as Americans, that lazy?)? And the #1 thing I don't understand about this Starbucks: Why do I always have near death experiences in the parking lot? Okay and #6, I'll let go because I have decided that we, as Americans, are that lazy. Myself included. The recently remodeled the interior which I kind of like a little bit more. It actually feels like a place I can work since before it was so lounge-like. They took away the bench seating against the windows and put in bar seating, they added a couple of wood tables and chairs to the center and only kept about three sofa chairs on the wall facing the patio. The covered patio also has two vinyl chairs along with the regular tables that I love. Outlets are still hard to find and appear to only be on one wall so it's kind of a gamble if you'll be next to an outlet when coming here. So my last trip here was on a Sunday around 1 pm and a good portion of the tables were taken while customers regularly walked in and drove up. I was expecting the usually crappy and slow service I get here and was pleasantly surprised when I was immediately welcomed. When I finally made it to the front of the line I was greeted again and then asked how I was doing. GASP! What?!? That never happens at this Starbucks. After a quick and pleasant convo with the barista, I ordered a Oprah Chai (I'm still convinced this is what Oprah tastes like) and she made a little Oprah joke...basically saying my order back in the Oprah voice. I laughed and she asked, "Too much?" Hahaha, no I wish every time I ordered an Oprah Chai they read my order back as Oprah. As I was going through my process of setting up my laptop and junk. My name was called. Oh my gosh! She wrote my name on the cup! Things are definitely looking up for this Starbucks. I grabbed my drink and realized the whole place was clean. You mean, I didn't have to clean off a table myself. "Today's gonna be a good day," I told myself. The Oprah Chai tea was perfection and I will continue to order it even when it's no longer on the menu...one day it'll be a Secret Menu item, mark my words. Pleasant, pleasant experience. Oh, and the trashcans were actually open for you to throw trash in. Seriously a huge step up from where this Starbucks was just a few months ago. I've never seen such personable service in this Starbucks or any really. All smiles. A barista high-fived a guy that walked in, another barista checked in on a family and even had a conversation with them, and everyone was continually doing something. Fantastic job, guys! Seriously if I was rating on the service alone I would've given a 5 star! I'm not holding #1 against them because the parking lot doesn't belong to them (but it is a silly design) and they aren't driving the cars. So really #7 and #10 are my only remaining issues with this location. Along with those issues being fixed, if it was a little bit bigger I would totally bump it up to a 4 (maybe even a 5 is service is continually like this). All over the place, like an epidemic it seems, but a delicious one at that, aromas of roasted coffee beans Drifting though the air, assaulting the senses, like an invading army busting through the trenches. But you already knew that, you're here for a review, about this particular Starbucks, their service, their brew. I'm happy to report that this location is adequate, their frappes creamy, their drinks ready to sate The caffeine desires from the young to the old, hot drinks are hot and cold drinks, cold. Their drive through is quick, and many have passed, through their windows out with their drinks, quite efficient and fast. I've visited this place ever since high school, they've remained consistent since then, they kind of rule. This review is coming to a close, I'm sad to say goodbye. For what its worth, this is probably my favorite Starbucks in town. Every morning before I go to work I come in for my usual medicine (tall Blonde Coffee with cream) and I am always greeted with a smile and a hello. I've never had to wait more than two minutes when they have a rush of customers. The seating inside is a bit small and is only limited to three power outlets. Since the space inside is rather small I can get rather loud, and can be quite difficult to study or accomplish any work. This is why I never sit inside. The outdoor patio was design in conjunction with the adjacent business a bike shop and shares a rather large outdoor seating space. Bike racks? Yes. Outdoor shading? Yes. Outdoor power outlets? YES! And plenty of them too! (For the record this is how I measure which Starbucks is best, power outlets) Ahhh Fresh Air! The only issue I have with the outdoor seating area is that you can hear the traffic from the Interstate passing by. But overall this Starbucks is a pleasant experience. read more

This is probably the best Starbucks location I've been to! The level of customer service is phenomenal! Friendly, fast and incredibly personalized service is their norm, as Vianey not only took the time to explain seasonal menu changes, but she actually brought our food out to us - and got us napkins! I have high allergies to all other types of milk those are the only two I can tolerate. I usually go to Starbucks on Mesa, however, I was in the area today and decided to get my coffee from this location. I ordered my latte with soy milk and I didn't taste my drink till after I left the parking lot. I immediately noticed my drink tasted completely different. I only took about four sips in total because I knew something had to be wrong. Sure enough about twenty minutes later my stomach was a mess. I know dairy milk must have been used in my drink. I ordered my drink around 11 AM and it is now 7 PM and my stomach is still not completely better. You had one job Starbucks, never coming back to this location again. You guys made me sick. Please pay attention to what kind of milk you are using when people request dairy free. read more

This review is directed towards the store managers and those enforcing this rule on the Starbucks employees at this location. I wish i had enough time to explain how painstakingly awkward and cringe-worthy my experience was. Got my order, frappuccino's were melted and watered down by the time i got it but i don't even care about that because i don't normally go to Starbucks anyways so it wasnt much of a loss. Ive never wrote a Yelp review but im really hoping this reaches this higher ups in charge of this location. Upon driving up to the window I was greeted by Josh, (not usual...yet) he took my payment and gave my card back. He proceeded to make a small talk statement "hows your day going" i gave my response so thought it was done. But no, he kept asking me the most random questions, "what shows do you watch" "what do u like to do for fun" "what do u do for a living" after answering he handed my drink, dropped the smile and said "bye now". it was almost like a scene straight out of Jordan Peele movie, i have never felt more awkward and uncomfortable during that entire interaction considering how fake it was. I honestly feel terrible for the employee that had to do that but i don't think theres any amount of money Starbucks could pay someone to have that kind of interaction 10 hours a day. im surprised he's still working there, i really hope he finds something else he deserves to not have deadness in the eyes. PLEASE STOP MAKING YOUR EMPLOYEES DO THIS OR START HIRING PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO DO THIS AND PAY THEM THE RIGHT WAGE FOR IT. Can't handle high volume. The sitting area is small. Came yesterday had a great drink with great service. Came at 7am rush-hour and the whole place was a hot mess. My wait in line with one person in line took 15 minutea. My drink came out terrible and undrinkable. The same one yesterday was great and the staff was pleasant. I should have known when the staff asked me how to make my drink despite it being a menu item with nothing special. Idk how to make a fancy coffee if I did i wouldn't be at starbucks. This Starbucks does not stop to amaze me! Yesterday morning I was in my usual rush and placed my mobile order with ample time. As I drove up, MaryBeth(great employee) hurried to my car before I got out to notify me they were having issues with hot water hence unable to make my hot drinks. This type of consideration and personal attention is what keeps me coming back. Maybe others might have just placed a sign "sorry for the inconvenience" but MaryBeth was out in the parking lot looking out for customers she could forewarn about the problem. Thanks to MaryBeth I was able to hurry to another place for coffee and stay on schedule. However it doesn't stop there, I typically place my order via the Starbucks mobile app because its usually busy at the time I come in for coffee. Well the system works like a charm! This use to be my favorite place for coffee. Now you can count on cold coffee and dirty establishment.

First of all, the people that work here are amazing and so friendly! I walked in and half the people behind the counter greeted me! They made my coffee right away and it was delicious! The atmosphere that was created here is very cozy and relaxing and I could just sit here for hours without a worry. I really recommend trying this Starbucks if you live in the area!
