The BEST SERVICE! A bit of a story but you need the background: Ordering for your small children is a challenge, always! So the order ended up being wrong (Instead of a tall milk we got a chocolate milk, which my son despises). I honestly believe it was my mistake, but I could not convince them otherwise! In the end, they returned the money for the chocolate purchase AND gave me a tall cup of milk! What surprised me the most was not only that one person was super eager to make sure I left happy, but the person serving the milk had already served it! Just AMAZING SERVICE! Honestly, I was driving by but if someone lives around here, this is the place to come and get your coffee from.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frapp (white mocha frap with 1 pump of hazelnut, 1 pump of cinnamon dulce syrup topped with whip cream and cinnamon)

There's a new frappe in town and we ain't talking unicorns. The Horchata Almond Milk Frappucino had made its debut earlier this week so you know I had to check it out! First off, when you order it they ask if you want it with a coffee or cream base so of course I opt for coffee. They may be using almond milk but this drink is still topped with whipped cream so it's NOT dairy free. Taking that first sip gave me Deja Vu because it tastes close to the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frappe on their secret menu, except this one has more caramel versus white mocha and hazelnut. There is a subtle horchata flavor but it wasn't enough for my taste; still delicious though. If you don't have much of a sweet tooth, I recommend getting something else like anything Chai Tea! The flavors closely resemble that of their Horchata Frappe but less sweet and more satisfying (my go-to)! Oh, and don't mix the whipped cream in, just wait until you reach it at the bottom of the cup because once I did that, it changed the taste of the drink. Or is that just me?

First things first, I know that Dupont has developed a little over the past few years but this 'Bucks location is in the worst place. This parking lot is beyond terrible. There are three restaurants right next to 'Bucks in that shopping center and the parking lot itself is majorly too small. Anyone that has come here in the morning or during lunch hours has probably had a hard time entering or exiting. If you want to spend half your lunch making pinpoint turns to avoid hitting people in the drive thru as you backup or avoid driving forward into the line of cars parking in front of Subway, Dominos, or I-Sushi, then by all means go to this location. Also, in the morning the drive thru line basically blocks traffic. There are never any parking spaces so even if you want to get out and stand in line inside the 'Bucks instead of sitting in the drive thru, you're basically stuck. It is kind of nice they have outdoor and indoor seating and wi-fi. On a alternate note, there really isn't any competition for coffee in Dupont. Lord knows Washingtonians love their coffee and are willing to wait for it. The few times I've been here though the food items are great and usually piping hot. The people have also been reasonably nice as well and have never messed up my order. The drive thru does move pretty quickly though during most hours of the day. Sadly though it's about the coffee and drinks. I would rather go elsewhere for coffee that has more flavor and doesn't taste watered down or overpowered with sugar. I've ordered items without coffee like the Oprah Chai, the regular chai, the green tea frapp, the vanilla frapp, the passion tea lemonade (which isn't on the menu), and others and they're just...ok. I don't even drink coffee that often so you can take this review with a grain of salt....or sugar....whichever.

Caramel Macchiato there is nothing caramel about this drink. I assume it wasn't made correctly

Fantastic bacon too. Service was impeccable! I was here with a group on a Friday morning, we got there first thing when they opened. All the employees were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Constant refills on solid black coffee and great conversation. One of the best parts of this place is the decor and vibe. Beautiful old architecture, big windows with natural light, and old fashioned furniture and kitchen equipment. It's such a cute little place and feels very home-y. Plus it's on a very nice street in Steilacoom nice and close to the water. Outstanding place to visit on a warm sunny morning for some delicious American classics.

I never get tired of the Bair. I've been coming here since 2011, and I should have left a review…read moresooner--but it's never too late to show some appreciation. The food is truly homemade--nothing pulled from a frozen bag. And honestly, it feels like a living museum tucked into one of the quaintest little towns in America. Be kind to the longtime staff. A slightly longer wait just means your food is being made fresh, the way it should be. If you're a local, show some love and leave a positive review--you know how special this place is.
