I stopped in at the Dancing Goats coffee in Olympia. Very convenient to great views of the nearby harbor. Great friendly service. I decided to get the latte here and also bought some of the beans to take home with me. Coffee was great.

Espresso machine was down :( Babe got a vanilla lattee and I skipped out on it because what is a vanilla latte with no fresh espresso? Taste awkward and ended up throwing a portion away :( For $7... I expected it be a classic vanilla latte.........

This place is conveniently located across the street from the Olympia Farmer's Market, which is nice so you can grab a coffee. We sat at the window which was nice but the seating is very limited at this location. I wasn't really crazy about the coffee. The flavor was too bold for my taste and that's not a bad thing- it's just not my thing. Didn't try any of the food but I don't think I'll be coming back because of that limited seating. I don't want to fill a seat and feel obligated to leave because others need a shot at them. I like to lounge around and soak in atmosphere, so this place kinda robs me of that. I hate not being able to say nice things because a place just isn't to my taste, but maybe it's up your alley, so don't let my opinion sway you if you really want to try it.

Iced mocha was really good. Not an overly complicated drink but it was executed well.

I really appreciate people who treat my daughter well. They were so kind. They didn't judge me when I said she wanted whip cream on her oat milk hot cocoa.... and then.... and THEN they put colorful sprinkles on it and wiped the rim of the cup for presentation. It may not seem like a big deal, but my daughter lit up. She loved that hot cocoa. They had beyond (vegan) breakfast burritos and vegan breakfast sandwiches. They warm them up for you. Tap to pay.

I have seen the light! I now know the taste of a chai latte. I now understand why people line up for coffee. I now know why the Pacific Northwest is known for its coffee. I became a dancing goat after trying the chai latte with the almond milk and the cinnamon toppings. This English teacher has never quite fit in with his coffee-shop going colleagues, but now everything changes. Thank you for the Dancing Goat!

So after getting my hair done today I went to go support hello cupcake because their last day sadly is tomorrow but the line was like two blocks long so I hopped in my car headed to my favorite coffee shop in Tacoma but out the corner of my eye I saw another coffee shop I have and tried so skeeerd that's my tires people is I made a left hand turn to park and go try dancing goats coffee and I was not disappointed!! Dancing goats espresso bar has been open since 1986 and the name is based upon a legend out of Ethiopia please ask one of the baristas to tell you the legend. I ordered a non-traditional caramel macchiato, BATDORF & BRONSON roasters coffee with tasting notes of cherry , and spice, and it was something nice I followed up with their half off vegan breakfast sandwiches I always buy stuff on sale and try it especially if it's half off it's a good way to try product that was so tasty actually wanted to go back and buy the rest but I got too far away. I bought a few other items such as coffee bags, like tea bags but they're coffee I'm a truck driver so it's nice to have a good cup of coffee on the go when you can't get to a coffee store, I also purchased some of the some of their mints by Chehalis mints, these mints are smooth. Hey don't wait til late Spring or Summer there is plenty of room at the large farmhouse style tables to drink up and visit with a friend!! Oh yeah there in ATL too

The Espresso Bar has a very welcoming vibe. I ordered a macchiato, overall enjoyable but a little more sour (maybe under-extracted). Their specialty drinks and other offerings look very appealing with a wide variety of options. Staff was very friendly.

Their coffee is divine :) made a quick stop today just to grab some bags for my caffeine addiction. While the Bolivia is new to me, any choice with Dancing Goats is bound to be a good one. They are a reliable place in downtown Olympia to get your caffeine fix or a healthy snack!

I was hitting a bunch of Olympia establishments last weekend. The Tacoma Volcano releases a "Best of Olympia" once a year usually around February or March. I bookmark a bunch of places usually and these little day trips are a lot of fun to make once a year to go to what is recommended by the newspaper and readers alike. Dancing Goats Espresso Bar made the list and I was in need of a coffee fix for the day. The coffee shop is located right across the street from the Olympia Flea Market so if you know where that is then locating this place should be pretty easy. At Dancing Goats I got a Iced Vanilla Latte which was great! It was nice and refreshing and provided the pick me up that I really needed! Service is relatively quick so if there is not a lot of activity (from the Flea Market) and you are on the go you can probably get in and out fairly quickly.

One of the best coffee shops I've been to the Pacific Northwest. Good consistent quality every time.

They serve the best espresso drinks, not necessarily inexpensive, but super smooth espresso drinks.

We ordered the avocado toast, chickpea sandwich, and coffee, and everything was delicious. The food was fresh, satisfying, and paired perfectly with the excellent coffee, making it an ideal spot for breakfast or lunch. Service was quick and friendly, and our order arrived promptly. The atmosphere is the real standout. The café has a huge indoor space with multiple seating areas, each featuring its own unique décor and vibe, so there's something for everyone--whether you're catching up with friends, getting some work done, or simply enjoying a quiet coffee break. If you're in the area, The Owl's Nest is a café I'd highly recommend.

Stopped here for a breakfast. Ordered: 12 oz of Earl Grey,…read more16 oz of Latte, Lavender Scone, Sundried Tomato Scone, Maple Pecan Scone, Panini Sandwich. Total $61 including a tip. We somehow spaced it that the cafe served only plant based food and only realized it after we took couple of bites because the food had unpleasant aftertaste. The pros: 1. Appreciate the support for LGBTQ 2. Appreciate the idea of "plant based" food 3. Nice atmosphere The cons: 1. The 12 oz cup of tea and the 16 oz cup of latte were served in the 12 oz mugs. We paid for a 16 oz latte. 2. Early Grey was of poor quality. Not much flavor. 3. The scones tasted ok, but not like true traditional scones. I presume it is because they are plant based. 4. Shortly after eating a sundried tomato scone I started feeling nauseated and developed a headache which lasted for several hours after. I do not have food allergies, I do though react poorly to heavily processed food. Knowing my body very well this makes me wonder about the quality of ingredients used. Plant based food is a very noble idea and is better for health and environment when in its natural form (olive oil, veggies, whole grains, etc.), but unfortunately some products are often very heavily processed (plant based butter, cheese, etc.). I have no idea what those scones were made of. I will not eat other scones after this experience. 5. I took a bite of hubby's panini. It had an unpleasant aftertaste. 6. We paid for 3 scones. The cashier gave us only two. I thought that the third one would be brought out shortly with the rest of the order so I let the cashier to attend to the line behind us. When the 3rd scone wasn't brought out I approached the counter to ask about it. Another person that was standing there asked me if I paid for it.......Seeing so much suspicion on their face I told the person that I would like to wait for the cashier to see if she would remember me placing an order. To which that person responded - I believe you......This was not a pleasant experience and this is not sound customer service if you ask me. Instead of taking responsibility and checking their system, they made me feel like I was trying to get free food. A professional business should always prioritize making the customer feel heard and valued, rather than putting them on the defensive. The OK: Coffee was just ok. I personally wouldn't come back for it. Overall this is not my cup of tea. I wouldn't come back.
