I recently came into this location to grab a cup of coffee and there was only one person in the store which she was waiting for her drink. There was a total of four baristas behind the counter. No one acknowledged me as I stood and waited to be served. Two of the baristas seem to go back and forth on who was going to work the front counter so I stood there for a total of 11 minutes and no one still acknowledged me so I ended up walking out. It was definitely very disheartening and made me feel like I wasn't wanted or I shouldn't be there, especially as a person of color. I will not be coming back to this location. read more

I have visited literally hundreds of Starbucks' location since they've come into existence and although they all seem to be pretty consistence with the quality of the products they offer; the service, quality of the product, wait-time, cleanliness and accessibility of the location are the five things that are important to me. I just went in and absolutely adored the gentleman that served me as well as the cashier. I wish I checked their names. Per my questions and concerns, he suggested Earl Gray with vanilla coconut milk. But it was delicious. I also got the lemon pound cake and it was amazing. Although still my go-to Starbucks because of the convenient location. I am so disappointed with the quality of the drinks lately. Like I said in a previous review, I am aware that they will remake them if you ask, but I go through the drive-thru and that makes it a lot more difficult when I have limited time and am on my way to work. My biggest complaint is that the drinks are never full, be it the iced mocha I order or a latte, they are always filled with about an inch and a half of room left. This has happened now on each of my last 4 visits to this location. I think next time I will get there earlier so I have time to go inside and either add more milk myself or ask them to top it off. read more

Normally Starbucks is reliable, but they were way off their game at this location. I waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks. I finally got one but no sign of the other. I asked if I could just get my money back for the drink I never received. The cashier tried but obviously hadn't been trained to do refunds. I left with no drink and no refund as I was on a time crunch - I didn't think it would take 20 minutes to start with. So they got my money and I got nothing. I'm done with Starbucks. read more

I usually go to the one on sleaterkinney and Martin by the ampm and have fantastic service. I am a regular and go there every morning before work. Today I had a doctors appointment and had to go to this one. First I ordered my drink then I ordered egg and cheese box. When she handed me the box I noticed all the grapes were soggy and the apples were brown. I asked for a different one and she said she couldn't take that one back. Ok I get that but why give me a box with brown apples to begin with. Finally the manager comes to the window she has a fresher box and says I can give you this or a refund. Being that I'm diabetic And could t eat before my dr appointment i took the box thank you. I get to work and open the box super excited and there's a freakin hair on my egg. Literally put the pepper on and everything and there's a freaking hair. All around worst Starbucks visit EVER. read more

It's a Starbucks. They're everywhere around us. There are things I like, such as they remember me pretty easily. Know how I like my drink. The cons are the issue. The drive through takes FOREVER most days. I normally stop if there's three or four cars. Often there's a line of 7-10 cars deep. The parking lot is awkward. There's a single row of parking available in front and plenty around the building, but if I wanted to hike to my nearest Starbucks then I wouldn't have driven my car. Inside seems to be lacking something. A fireplace? A couple of nice comfy non-leather chairs that you don't have to dig your toes into the ground for fear of slipping? I'm not sure but it always seems to be a bit cold inside. The workers there seem a bit more laid back. It's a nice place, I just hate to wait for long periods of time. read more

I was having a horrible day today. I have been missing my family back home, anyways, I went to a different starbucks and got cut off by 3 different cars so I drive to this one. I am so glad I did. The barista was so sweet. They must have known I was having a bad day because they gave me a Venti ( I ordered a grande) and she told me the coffee was on them today. It was the perfect way to cheer me up. The barista name was Annaliese and they deserve a raise for their customer service alone. Not even because they decided to be nice and get my drink for me, but their tone when I was ordering was cheery and happy. We need more people like Annaliese in this world! What a sweet voice and nice to hear a great attitude after needing a strong cup of coffee (she recommended the blonde roast for most caffeine when I asked). Always busy but this is a very convenient location that has a drive through too. Staff is friendly, efficient & competent. Lots of charging locations if you're needing a battery boost or staying awhile to get your project finished. Two years ago, for a college writing seminar, I produced an essay about coffee. I was so ashamed of it that it has only been read by some three people, and I removed the file from my Dropbox in the hopes that, should my computer crash, the essay would die with it. For it contained sickeningly romantic statements such as: It's not that I'm addicted to coffee: I am addicted to the experience of coffee, to my little slice of perpetually imperfect heaven. And: No matter the crisis, coffee will make it better. Having likened coffee to the elixir of life, it's no wonder my friends are skeptical when I tell them that I have, at long last, found the perfect coffee shop. It is a Starbucks--and I can already hear the friends moaning--but it is a Starbucks like no other. It has 30-foot ceilings and more than 40 seats arranged around a variety of circular, square, oblong, and even outdoor tables--each sheltered beneath a lofty green Starbucks-emblazoned umbrella, in case the abundant sunshine in the Pacific Northwest pleases you not. There are outlets spaced every 5 inches along the perimeter. There is even a pair of outlets some 15 feet up the wall, with no conceivable purpose other than to allow Hagrid--bleary eyed from a night of aerial motorbiking--to charge his phone without needing to stoop. It is also one of the Starbucks cafes that now serves wine and snacks after 2pm. I remember scoffing at this idea when I read about it months ago. ("Starbucks? Wine? Puh-lease.") But one glance at the menu had me eating my words. Black truffle mac and cheese? Truffle popcorn? A variety platter with herbed goat cheese? I confess, this menu excites me for no reason other than that I am a fan of cheese and truffles, the latter of which--despite learning that it refers simultaneously to cocoa products and forest grubs--still manages to conjure visions of chocolaty decadence. What kills me is the location: a mere 10-minute drive from my house in Olympia, to which I return only on breaks from school. In other words, when I am least likely to need caffeine, or a place to study. And it makes perfect sense, for a place like this couldn't exist in the cramped quarters of New York City, or if it did, it would be overrun immediately, all 40 seats taken, every outlet plugged. If I'd found the perfect coffee shop in New York, I wouldn't be writing this; I'd keep it a secret. Beware the masses. Enjoy your coffee. read more

This is a nice and roomy Starbucks. Unfortunately, Starbucks corporate terminated the beer/wine and entertainment at stores like this one. This was a main attraction here. Nevertheless, it is still a nice environment for a Starbucks. The main problem, as already mentioned, is the parking. I avoid this place on Saturdays and weekdays when adjacent businesses are open, but on Sundays, when many of them are closed, there are plenty of spaces. read more

I have to say that this is porbably one of the best Starbucks I have been to. I stopped in here to grab a latte and something for breakfast before an appointment down the street. I ordered my new fav obsession, Flat White (two shots, instead of three), and it was perfect - the best one I've had as of yet. It's too bad it's not a permanent item on the menu, because I may be addicted. Services was incredibly friendly, and the space was really nice. The store is pretty large and had a lot of seating. Overall a great Starbucks, and when I'm in the area again, I will definitely stop by. read more

Eh all Starbucks locations are the same...not much to add that hasn't been added BUT: there are so many electrical outlets, which is huge for us technology driven people. My go to is an americano but lately I have been ordering a citrus defender. It's so refreshing yet relaxing on cold nights. Love getting this in the evening. But make sure you always state with lemonade. Otherwise they always forget it. Then it's not good. read more

I love this Starbucks. I love the layout of the interior and the drinks are made well. It's fairly big, but the parking is horrible when there are a lot of customers. Ordered a dark roast drip coffee thru the drive-thru this morning, like many other mornings. It was barely warm and super bitter. It's a busy location so you'd think the drip would be hot and fresh without them even trying. Very confused as to how it was possible to create such a bad cup of coffee. read more

I wish they stayed open as late as their listings imply. I get off work at 9pm and this appears to be the only Starbucks in the area that is open beyond 9. For the past 3 visits, I have visited between an hour to 45 minutes prior to their posted closing time just to find that the employees inside have locked the doors and are unresponsive.
