Me and my husband stopped on the way to VA. I asked for two Americano. Before I could pay both were in front of me. I ask is this an Americano and was told yes. Did not hear the expresso machine I normally hear, did not wait like normal for the prep time which comes with making an americano. But the barista look me in the face when I asked and said YES. Now while search for my card to pay the $5 each, out the corner of my eye I saw this person fill the cup with coffee from the tank behind the cashier. dont not think much about it. If you are going to give me a regular cup of coffee then charge me for that. Never again, in any state, will Starbucks get my money. Starbucks - Pupachino & (for me:)moms Pumpkin Spice Latte:-) - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Dillon, South Carolina

We stopped at this Starbucks because my wife needed coffee while we were driving from North Carolina to Georgia. This Starbucks is located just off I-95 exit 193 (SC 9 / SC 57 - Dillon, Little Rock, Bennettsville) in the small city of Dillon, South Carolina. There are a lot of fast food chain restaurants on this stretch of 57. Huddle House, Cook Out, Popeyes, Zaxby's, and Wendy's are all right next to each other, across the street from this Starbucks. There's also a Taco Bell and Waffle House next door. My wife and I actually stopped at Wendy's first to pick up food and then we came here so my wife could get coffee. We ate and drank on Starbucks' patio. The Starbucks staff didn't seem to have a problem with us bringing Wendy's over. Of course, we were also Starbucks customers. Also, the staff may have been too busy to notice or care about us. Out of all the aforementioned chains, this Starbucks was the only place with an outdoor patio, which is another reason we chose to dine here. The patio was relatively nice and clean with both covered and uncovered sections. At first, my wife wanted to use the Starbucks app to order and pay, which is what she normally does, but this location didn't offer Mobile Order and Pay at the time for some reason (even though Starbucks' website for this location says this location does offer Mobile Order and Pay). My wife entered the drive-thru line and wanted to order a Pumpkin Nitro Cold Brew. However, she was told by the barista over the speaker that this store was completely out of all iced coffees and cold brews. My wife then went to one of her go-tos, a hot Americano with Cinnamon Dolce Syrup and Almond Milk. However, the barista then told her that Starbucks discontinued the Cinnamon Dolce Syrup (despite the website still saying that they had it). So then, my wife asked for Chestnut Praline Syrup instead. Hilariously, after that, the barista told her they were out of Almond Milk. So then, my wife asked for Soy Milk. After that conversation, in an attempt to confirm what my wife had just ordered, the barista said "Chestnut Praline Latte." My wife said, "No, that's not correct." My wife repeated her order which was an Americano with two pumps of Chestnut Praline Syrup and a splash of Soy Milk. The barista sounded confused. My wife repeated the order again. The barista then said, "Got it." LOL. My wife pulls up to the window. She pulls up the Starbucks app on her phone and hands it to the barista for payment. The barista confirms with my wife, "You got the Americano, right?" My wife said, "Yes." The barista takes my wife's phone, scans it, hands it back to my wife, and it's then that my wife realizes the barista scanned her credit card that was saved inside the Starbucks app instead of scanning the Starbucks Rewards gold card (also inside the app). At that point, my wife was like whatever. LOL. My wife gets the order, leaves the drive-thru, joins me on the patio, and she realizes that they got her order wrong. Haha. It was just a plain Americano! LOL. It was still caffeine, so she drank it. She said, "The Americano was standard." She also said the employees seemed nice, but also a little stressed. I can't blame 'em. The drive-thru was busy for the duration of our short stay. This is a relatively new Starbucks. I hope this review reaches the right people. We stopped by this location on a drive down to FL, went in asking for a coffee and special Frappuccino made in our local Starbucks. The team - especially the kind lady behind the register - immediately dropped everything to figure out the drink. It tasted delicious, and they were so wonderfully kind. Store was also very well-maintained, clean bathrooms, seating area, and the like. read more

Unprofessional. We got there just before closing and all we wanted were two cake pops. They never took our order, just sat us there until the clock struck 9. As soon as 9 hit, they came on the intercom and said they were closed. I understand not wanting to make coffee a few minutes before closing but all we wanted was something pre-made. I said I would stand further away since their mask was under their nose. They said they couldn't hear me and told me to move closer.
