the shadow of a person on the floor

If the bathrooms literally have fecal matter on the seat and urine all over the urinals along with a dirty counter at the sinks, imagine how the food prep looks? How about the bin for salt that had old opened salt covering the bottom? Or the floor in the dinning area that hasn't experience the warm brush of a mop in many months! AKA This place is DIRTY, avoid. We were also here first thing in the AM before it should have gotten so dirty. Nasty. Oh, and my kids threw out their eggs because they looked very odd. Totally avoid

Worst McDonalds ever. Service was terrible. Drink bar was out of straws and unsweetened tea. We asked for both but never got.

It was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon this QuikTrip in Dillon, South Carolina. It wasn't here…read morethe last time we traveled through South Carolina via I-95, to get between North Carolina and Georgia. This QT is still relatively new. It opened on June 15, 2023: https://www.cstoredive.com/news/quiktrip-grows-travel-center-concept-in-south-carolina/653478/ I made sure to stop here both ways on this trip. As has been well documented in my Yelp reviews over the past 10-15 years, I'm a fan of QT. I was happy with all the growth QT had along I-85, in the western part of South Carolina, in the early 2010s: https://www.yelp.com/collection/Ey266j_8lAHk7iQLDODC9g Unfortunately, QT isn't there yet with I-95, which is closer to and runs down roughly the eastern part of the state. In SC, I-95 (199 miles) is a lot longer than I-85 (106 miles). Anyway, this QT is a nice start. This QT is located just off I-95 exit 190 (SC 34 - Dillon) in the Pee Dee region of northeastern South Carolina. It's close to the North Carolina border. Another good option for gas, refreshments, and restrooms at this exit is the Love's Travel Stop on the other side of the interstate: https://www.yelp.com/biz/loves-travel-stop-dillon?hrid=UnW3W3KM5C74VC_jGbJGnA&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) This QT has everything I like about most newer QT locations. It's big and spacious, inside and out (20 pumps), clean, feels safe, is always stocked with paper towels at the pumps, and has competitive gas prices and polite, friendly customer service. QT describes this location as a "Remote Travel Center," which is the first I've seen since they rolled out the "Generation 3" or "Gen 3" stores over the last decade-plus. To me, this is simply a bigger Gen 3 store on a bigger lot. According to a Convenience Store News article in April 2022 ( https://csnews.com/photo-gallery-inside-quiktrips-new-remote-travel-centers ), QT's Remote Travel Centers have a "larger store format" that "targets geographies with strong truck traffic." This location has five diesel pumps for semi-trailer trucks, but it's not a full-fledged QT truck stop like others I've seen (e.g., Gaffney, SC). Like conventional QTs, this one has a QT Kitchens with fresh, made-to-order food and drink, except it's "expanded." This is QuikTrip store #7133.

Great place to grab gas (lowest price before going out of state) and snacks before crossing into NC. Clean bathrooms, lots of welcoming staff and a whole brewing station just for tea! So many fruit flavors. Unfortunately it wasn't working today but I grabbed a **crushed ice*** massive Diet Dew (on tap, thank you) instead. This will be our go to place every summer on these massive family road trips.

Coleslaw, fries, egg rolls, lettuce, tomatoes, always something. Last night (5/14) they were out of everything on their menu at 8:30pm except wings and fries. This place was bad before and had gotten so much better, I actually enjoyed coming here after working late, but over the last few months it is getting worse by the week. Don't blame being busy, you aren't that busy that you run out of all products. Stop with the excuses. You don't know how to order or the District Manager is holding them back from ordering to boast daily/week/monthly/quarter numbers to make their figures look good. Or there is just bad management again that do not know how to anticipate guest numbers, check your inventory numbers to project you might be running low especially at the end of the week, or prepping for the day. Probably time to lock the doors to this place again. There were three groups of guests walk out and numerous pulling away from the drive through. Ran into other people at Cookout that were told the same thing. One couple said they stopped coming here because of the problems, thought they would try again. They said they will never be back. I normally spend $30-$40 on each trip and have gotten use to asking what are you out of today, but this, nope, not happening. Won't be back for a long while. Cookout is open until 2am.

The short version: The food was OK, the Pepsi Zero Sugar tasted bad, and the service was fine except there was no soap in the men's restroom. The dining room and restroom were clean. This experience averaged out to two stars for me. Could've been better. The long version: My wife had a 4-piece Chicken Supremes (chicken tenders) Combo with Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, and Honey Mustard for her sauce. I had a Cajun Chicken Filet Biscuit Combo ($7.09) with Bo-Tato Rounds, a.k.a. Bo Rounds. The total for this meal for two was $17.69 after tax. The tenders, Cajun chicken biscuit, and sides were good enough and what I've come to expect from Bojangles/fast food. That said, this particular order was below average compared to my other Bojangles experiences. The food was too salty (saltier than normal) and something was off with the Pepsi Zero Sugar. It was gross. I took a couple sips and threw my drink away, which I rarely do, and I drink diet soda almost everyday. There weren't many customers on Thanksgiving Day around 1pm. We were one of only two or three tables dining in at any given time. The drive-thru was open. The restaurant closed early at 2pm. We stopped by this Bojangles because we were on our way from North Carolina to Georgia on I-95. This Bojangles is located off exit 193. There are several gas station and fast food options just off this exit. However, to get to this Bojangles, you do have to drive into town. Therefore, it's not the quickest option. Places like Taco Bell, Cook Out, Popeyes, and Wendy's on highway 57 are faster because they're much closer to the interstate. In general, I like Bojangles and would give location another shot.

I have never seen a more rude crew, but honestly, that stems straight from their Manager. Who I got to see in action. First the drink machine was broken so you had to go into the attached Love's truck stop. There was no sign it was out of order, just a webbed barricade (like you use for lines). Apparently several people had tried using it and the tray was full of water. The Manager was obviously annoyed she had to clean it out. I then watched her berate a grown man saying "it's broke. Can't you see it's broke? You see this right here? That means it's broke." Unreal. The man ahead of me ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap. One of the employees who had been walking around complaining that she wanted to go home brought up a bag of food, that contained a brisket sandwich yelling "who had the brisket?" No one answered. So she asked a man if he had the brisket. He said no, a wrap. She handed it to him and said here. Luckily he checked his food and came back to tell her it was wrong. She then snatched the receipt out of his hand and said that's not what your receipt says. He told her that's not what he ordered (he didn't I heard him). She then yells back to the Manager and says. "Come out and tell this man his receipt says brisket." The Manager was rude, but at least got him the wrap that he had tried to order. Of course the whole time they were making it they were back there talking crap about him. Loudly. Here's the simple fact - this is a truck stop and most of your customers are professional drivers. They deserve your respect, because without them, this country would shut down. And hey - if you hate your job so much and think it's OK to treat paying customers like an annoyance, this isn't the job for you. Shameful.

This…read moreWendy's is located just off I-95 exit 193 (SC 9 / SC 57 - Dillon, Little Rock, Bennettsville) in the small city of Dillon, South Carolina. There are a lot of fast food chain restaurants on this stretch of 57. Aside from Wendy's, we considered Cook Out, Popeyes, and Zaxby's. They're all right next to each other. There's also a Taco Bell and Starbucks across the street. My wife was craving a Wendy's Frosty so that's how we ended up here. Unfortunately, we had a sub-par experience at this Wendy's. First, the dining room and men's restroom were dirty. I don't know if, at the time of our visit, the restaurant was short-staffed or we just happened to show up at a bad time or what, but the dining room hadn't been tended to. There were lots of messy tables and food and trash on the ground. The men's restroom was out of soap and had no paper towels. I just didn't feel clean inside the restaurant. Going to the restroom with the intention to wash my hands had the opposite effect - my hands felt dirtier after going to the restroom. Second, the wait time for our food was unusually long. We ordered inside the restaurant, not at the drive-thru. There wasn't a line to order. We walked right up to the counter. It took 20 minutes to get our order. Why did it take so long? I'm not sure. Again, maybe they were understaffed. Third, the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines were down. Drinks had to be served from the kitchen. On the bright side, this Wendy's wasn't all bad. Our server, Honesty, was nice. I thought our food was A-OK, consistent with other Wendy's restaurants I've been to. My wife got a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger ($2.49), Small Fries ($1.89), and a Small Chocolate Frosty ($1.69). I got the Son of Baconator combo ($8.39) which came with Small Fries and a Small Drink. I chose Diet Coke for my drink. The total after tax was $15.91. My wife thought the Frosty tasted off and I could see why. It didn't have the same appetizing taste and texture that I'm used to. This was my first time having a Son of Baconator burger and I enjoyed it. It came with two small (2.25 oz) beef patties, two slices of American cheese, and three strips of bacon. If you like fast food hamburgers with bacon, I think it's worth trying. I thought they did a good job toasting the buns. This is Wendy's store #5144. Final rating: Two out of five Yelp stars ("Could've been better").

I said the door is open you won't take my order and he said no, she just mopped the floor. I asked again, you aren't going to take my order and he said no, he is going to lock "his" doors now. This place is a joke. There are no signs posted for the dinning room time for open / close. I came in around the same time the week prior. floor was wet and they took my order no issue. But, if he wants to play that game, no one was wearing head coverings as they are preparing food, and no floor signs are up for the wet floor. I can report to OSHA that they are not following safety standards as well ad DHEC for health code violations for the wearing the proper gear when working with food. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. This place has the worst history for management.
