In addition, the front staff member took her sweet time talking to customers despite a line forming - but definitely was different when it was my turn to order. Maybe they were regulars but I always think it's important to extend niceties to all customers.

The kind man offered me any item I wanted on the house, because they loved the drawings I did. I imagined they threw the drawings away, but to think they actually cared a lot about it made my week. Maybe even my month. A huge thank you to everyone who works here for being extremely kind and understanding. You gave me a place to be, somewhere I don't need to worry. Thank you. Now, for an actual review, the food here is very nice. All I really ate were the avocado toasts because that's all I'm familiar with, but of the two I tried, the supreme queen toast is the best. For service, the people here are very kind and attentive. Very respectful. And helpful, they will not make you feel stupid for having questions or needing a smaller menu (I have very bad vision for a 15 year old...). The ambiance is very nice. People are doing whatever they want or need, and don't care about you. Which is a good thing, especially for people who don't like loud or overwhelming spaces. Being open 24/7 is also very wonderful. Sometimes we're up late, after a day of forgetting to eat or just not having to the time to, having a place to eat and hang out is nice. It's also very cold, which is good because it's been very hot outside. Overall, this place is amazing. And I'm very sad to be leaving this area soon, but I hope I can come back again one day. It has the great luxury for this neighborhood of a private parking lot, also shared with Goudy's. Getting here is a little tricky. If you're going west on Alameda you can turn right directly into the lot by the big Goudy's/Starbucks sign. Going north on Downing you turn right at the first driveway past Alameda, then turn right again at the rear of the building. There are two sections of outdoor seating, facing Alameda and facing the parking lot. The interior has a long, narrow communial high-top plus some quiet, secluded seating along the hallway to the restroom. I've been able to find parking in the small lot during my visits. This Starbucks is a bit further from me than other locations, but all of those have parking issues. This spot offers a nice, peaceful visit with no stress. The store is clean and well-stocked. The staff is friendly and efficient. There are usually at least a few seats available. It's a nice, small Starbucks location.

I think it's a perfect sized store and I have had some great conversations over the years. The service is always top notch and they have cold brew on tap. It is only 2 blocks from the park so it is an amazing place to stop when I take a break. I can enjoy a sandwich, a cold brew, and clear some email off my phone and then head back to the park. The baristas are friendly here and can load cash, cards, or gift cards to your account. The restrooms are usually in good shape too. The parking lot can get crazy so if you are driving just park across the street near the path that leads to the park! Oh, this is also the location where I finished with an epic 2022 stars on 1/1/2022. I don't think I will make it to 2026 Stars by new years since I have 1400 stars now and 11 days left. Starbucks is my favorite rewards program and has some great promotions for its loyal customers.
