    Thai tea and Ube latte
    Hang L.

I've been to Kat's Kitchen a couple of times since they opened in September. My first time I had the Ube Matcha latte, delicious but I'm pretty much in love with their Ube latte -- it's unique, perfectly balanced, and always a treat. The atmosphere is cozy, and the vibe is great. The staff has been friendly up until my most recent visit, which was a bit disappointing. On my last trip, the lady who helped me was noticeably rude. I ordered my usual Ube latte, but when I tried to open the cap to insert the straw, it was really tough to pull off. It ended up causing my drink to spill everywhere. While I totally understand accidents happen, the way she reacted was less than ideal -- she seemed irritated and was visibly upset at having to clean it up. Worse, she didn't offer to make me another drink, which I found frustrating, especially since it was an issue with the cap in the first place. The food looks delicious (I've seen some mouth-watering items coming out of the kitchen), but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm hoping my next visit will be better, but it's hard to ignore the lack of customer service I experienced this time around. Fingers crossed that this was just a one-off bad experience, but I'll think twice before heading back.

    Spicy garlic noodles and salmon
    Loan D.

My son and I ordered the Korean fried chicken wings... better than most Korean restaurants Spicy salmon garlic noodles... flavorful and the salmon was perfect. The Vietnamese crème brûlée coffee was the best I've ever had. the filet mignon baguette.. the bread was soft, the beef was tender and tasty.. I'd go back again and again.

Kat's Kitchen offers a delightful dining experience that I would highly recommend! I ordered the banh mi chao pork xiu mai and banh mi chao filet mignon combo, both of which were bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The pork salad is fresh and vibrant, providing a nice balance to the meal. For beverages, the coffee sea salt is a unique twist that complemented the dishes beautifully, while the matcha ube foam is a delightful treat that added a sweet finish to my meal. The service is exceptional; the staffs are attentive and eager to share their recommendations, introducing us to their signature dishes with enthusiasm. Overall, my visit to Kat's Kitchen was a satisfying culinary adventure, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu!

The food is quite literally to die for. I always order the garlic thigh noodles because they are full of flavor but you honestly can't go wrong ordering anything here. Staff is very nice as well.

My vietnamese blood cannot be picky about thìs place. We live 10 min from Asia central in federal and food here hands down beat most of our favorites. We ordered 1) clay pot fish (bone in). Huge portion. Worth it. And the flavor is authentic. 2) shaken beef. Tender. 3) to go salad combo. Even good the next day 4) bun Bo vermicelli. My hub said the best in Denver he had and he had a few 5) lotus wonton. My picky toddler liked it. 6) lemonade lychee. They were so sweet even gave my 2 yo extra lychee when I asked so she can behave in her chair Overall highly recommend. Wish they were closer to us but it's a great place

When you think of Vietnamese, Americans tend to think of Pho, noodle bowls and lemongrass chicken but we need more places the focuses in home cooking and dishes that locals eat. Ingredients are fresh and dishes pack a powerful flavor bomb...I mean wow! The use of shrimp paste and other traditional ingredients really elevate flavors that many Americans are not used to, but you have to try it to understand. Their claypots are a must order and with a side of rice....you'll be eating for days! The star of the night was the pork and calamari claypot which is cooked in shrimp paste and your favorite Vietnamese spices and herbs. You'll finish bowls of rice with this dish, it packs so much flavor that you'll be wanting more. It's a great mix of salty, sweet and umami from the fermented shrimp paste. The Vietnamese curry was thick and packed with succulent shrimp. The veggies at a very nice brightness to balance out the coconut milk. The last dish we had was a shrimp lemon grass in the clay pot and that was also a hit with everyone! Service is amazing and they definitely know how to recommend dishes to match your taste buds. They went out of the way to help everyone and it shows. If you need a new spot, check Dan Da!

Maybe it's the brown butter that has me wanting more but that was a unique delectable dish. We had some bubbles, tea, beer, and at least half the dinner menu. Wow, wow, WOW!…read more Sometimes you set yourself up because you don't want to be disappointed when the hype is just that, hype. However, I am glad the hype is real and that the dishes we ordered and ate were really good! For a group of 6, we did try as many dishes as we can. Everything we had was delicious, but I would skip two: (1) the charred cabbage and (2) rau muống (morning glory). The cabbage was not worth the $20 we paid, and the morning glory was so salty that I wished we could have a bowl of rice to balance out the saltiness. For these two dishes, which totaled $39, we could have ordered another "big" plate/dish. Overall, we enjoyed dining here. It was hard to hear some of the conversations though. A lot of voices and noises, but it's because the place was filled: no empty tables at all. I was also really surprised how many waitstaff they had here. From runners to servers, from hostess to bar tenders, the service we received was excellent. If you are here in the Denver area for a few days, make sure you reserve a table way in advance, because you will want to have an eating experience at Sap Sua before leaving Denver.

Well that's how I felt this morning, so VinaMeals was where I ended. I ordered two items, so join me and read my food journey... Just had bánh ít tràn, a Vietnamese, steamed sticky rice dumplings dish. This dish reminds me of my mom's cooking where she used to make us this dish all the time to eat for breakfast. Lots ingredients inside the these three dumplings including mung bean, wood ear mushroom, jicama carrot, onion, garlic, minced with pork and shrimp. It came with steamed bean sprouts, cucumber, and fish sauce to dip the dumplings or just pour over the dish. I felt the accommodating items didn't add any value to this dish, but boy, did these dumplings bring back good memory. Of course, when you are here, you have to get their small wonton soup. It is one of the best I have ever eaten. I believe the broth that is the star, and the wontons come very close but just a second too late. This small soup is very filling, and I always wonder if adding a bowl of plain rice into the soup will make this dish a complete meal. We will have to find out later. As I am sitting here writing this review, I am truly enjoying the atmosphere. Listening to the music over my head, I am sing a little bit too loud, louder than mouthing the words. My head is moving from side to side, and my feet are tapping. I found my happiness here even though we leapt/spring one hour ahead earlier today.
