Not my usual Starbucks and also not the best one around. I've been here a few times recently and each time there's either been an issue with the order or a headache with the staff, who are like the biggest grumps imaginable. I usually get a dry cappuccino and my daughter likes the tropical butterfly refresher. On our last visit, not only was my cappuccino not dry, it was like the wettest cappuccino possible with very little foam and tons and tons of milk. I mentioned it to the barista who reluctantly redid it, but it was really annoying that it wasn't nailed the first time. Also, apparently there's this new drink called the Tropical Butterfly Refresher. My daughter was very excited to get it but when it was served she was disappointed. She said it looked nothing like the image she saw. When I checked online I found that, yes, it looked somewhat different than what was shown. She drank it and said it tasted alright but the presentation left alot to be desired. Overall 2 stars. Order at a different Starbucks branch if you have the chance to. read more

I used to go to this Starbucks to work when I lived in the area. It's been about 10 years and it's really gone downhill. The WiFi wasn't working and when I asked if it was down, the barista said "yeah, sometimes people can't connect." Instead of offering a solution or offering to reset it, he just shrugged it off. I had to purchase Xfinity WiFi for $10 instead. They also close really early. On weekdays they close at 5 and on Sunday, they close at noon. They used to close around 8. read more

I'm happy to say now that this location has re opened - it is clean and pretty much like any Starbucks. Now though the I want my egg white bites, I have to ask the barista if they have it - and they look behind and they let me know if they have it. This time they had it - though when she heated them up they were Luke warm so if I had been in the store, I would've told them. I was eating them in the car since I was driving my son to Juno Beach. The parking here is less than desirable so just be careful in their lot! read more

Im so so happy this location re opened, it was my favorite! I know it opened a while ago I just never had to e time to come. Starbucks is more than a coffee shop to me it's my therapy and home. I love it. It's not just about the coffee or fun drinks. The staff is so wonderful. Whenever I go they make my day. It's so clean and I loved the music they were playing. I ordered a sandwich for my daughter without cheese and got it with cheese on. I gave it back and asked for an other one without the cheese. it took them 10 minutes and when they gave it to me they said it was hard to take the cheese off.... They wouldn't make a new one. The last three Starbucks I've been to each have had bugs in their pastry cabinet. Yes, winged bugs, flying around, landing on, and eating and most probably pooping on the pastries that are for sale. It's disgusting. The times I pointed this out to the staff they either just shrug or ignore me. One staffer said to me, "do you know how hard is is to keep these cases clean?" SERIOUSLY? That is not acceptable. If you can't keep the food clean then stop selling the pastries or close your shop and go into a different business. I get that the workers are overworked, and probably underpaid. But cleanliness should be a given for a billion dollar corporation. At another location I that all the milks were left out on the counter in non-insulated containers with the lids off. It's not common to see poor food safety because it's dangerous. Yet, these Starbucks seem to be okay with room temperature dairy, bugs in food bins, and I'm afraid to thinks about what else. Starbucks, please, clean up your act. Wow, in this day and age when everything is centered around customer service, I am amazed that some of the employees here are actually still employed. On three different occasions, I have encountered such stupidity, I have walked away scratching my head in total disbelief. I love the Starbucks brand and I frequent their different locations on a fairly frequent basis. I must admit that this location is my least favorite. And it's not because of the delicious beverages it's strictly because of the basic lack of common sense a few employees do or do not have. I think they make a great Frappuccino but other than that, I can't think of anything that would entice me to return. I honestly feel like I am stepping into the twilight zone when I walk through the door. This location is not one of the cleaner ones, in fact it's a bit sloppy and unkempt. I'm not saying dirty, I am just saying messy and there is a difference. But I admit that they could wipe down the counters and perhaps mop the floor a bit more often. After all, a clean floor wouldn't feel sticky right??? With so many Starbucks locations around, this is one I most likely will stay far away from, unless maybe it's a super hot day and I am desperately dying of thirst. read more

I can't believe this is my first review of 5Bucks as I fondly refer to this joint! I must state I have never been a trend follower so I still have a problem ordering drinks with unpronounceable names and the longer and crazier the name the higher the price! However the service here was OK and a regular small coffee tasted just the same as the one I get at 711! OK OK I'm just kidding you Starbuckers but I'm conditioned to having my Donuts with my coffee! Starbucks is always great...Consistent, upscale, delicious and available. However the parking lot at this particular location is a challenge. Grab the first spot you see. Back up slowly. Crowded, and home to many insane Bocaites, this the one to avoid. This place has changed employees more frequently than an NYC RR Metro car at rush hour because it's a high stress gig. Sometimes even very kind baristas can get a little ugly after being gnawed on by the privileged piranhas. If you can go elsewhere, go. If someone told you that Way Beyond Bagels is next door, mortgage the house and grab food over there (See my review and take there) but I'd go to R1 or the other Starbucks. Worst Starbucks service at the Glades location in Boca Raton, staff was very rude, we requested oat milk in our coffee drink, cashier said they only serve oat milk in their Canada location not in the US, serving staff were rude when I took a coffee wrapper from the counter today to avoid getting burn touching my hot coffee, very insulting, rude and unapologetic, maybe because we were black in a primarily white neighborhood, shame on you Starbucks for hiring such rude kids who have no respect for humans. read more

I haven't come to this Starbucks in so long and was in the area- so glad I came!!! The baristas were so friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. It's never mad busy here like maybe in other coffee shops because the plaza is very chill. I ordered my drink wrong because I didn't know that the iced version of the pecan latte came with cold foam and my stomach doesn't do well with regular dairy (main ingredient in the cold foam). Rochelle who was making my drink was super sweet when I told her and kindly made me another one. She was so friendly, awesome, helpful and I just walked away feeling so good! It's these little things when you go to a coffee shop that really make a difference and can make your day. Side note: the iced version of the pecan latte is SO GOOD. The hot version is awesome too, but I'm glad I took the risk today and tried it out cold cause it was ridiculously good- especially with the topping that adds a crunch and doesn't melt away like in the hot version. I'm very disappointed in some of the reviews regarding this Starbucks location, I've been here several times but I will not be back after reading the discussions that were held in front of a customer that are clearly inappropriate and especially for discrimination of a customer while serving another customer; if a customer lets you know her drink has something in it please by all means listen and refresh her a drink with the desired beverage. I will not be back to this location. I stopped going to All Chick-Fil-A restaurants due to discriminatory behavior if these rude people don't get their act together I won't frequent another Starbucks! I used to really like the location and thought that the staff was friendly and helpful. Over the last few weeks my option has been changing and today was the final straw. I get the same drink each day and they know me. I stop here on my way to work instead of the location closer to my office since the staff was friendly and it was a pleasant experience. After today I doubt I will be back. My drink yesterday had something in it. When I let them know this morning they claimed it was caramel and acted like I was doing something wrong for saying something. Excuses but caramel is not hard and I know to expect that I'm not an idiot. At $5.25 a drink I'm going to let you know if there was a mistake. The fact that you would treat a customer like this and then speak about it in front of me is disgusting and extremely poor customer service. The night prior I arrived from Orlando to visit my dad in Delray Beach, I came from Orlando. I checked Google and this was the closest Starbucks but when I got there at 9pm they had been closed since 8pm. I had to drive past 3 other closed stores to Boca Raton for my Latte and that was great as my one or two drinks from any Starbucks are every day. I went to this one just this morning at 8am and figured I would try a regular coffee for the first time there instead of my usual latte and the coffee was horrible. I told the cashier and she ordered me a Latte and charged me for it. I exclaimed that it would be proper to just charge me the difference from the coffee since I didn't care for it and she said that wasn't their policy, she must have been around 75 years old and very rude. The younger barista also gave me the same story and made me the foulest tasting latte I've ever had from over 150 different Starbuck's stores I've visited over the years. I ended up getting the manager who gave me a free drink coupon, he should have given me two since both drinks were horrible. I drink Starbucks daily, I have the gold member card and I get two free drink coupons a week in the mail since I patronize them at least twice a day. Stay away from this store because you will not get your drink made properly and if you are a regular customer at this location then you have no idea what a real drink should taste like. read more
