Starbucks has really been letting me down lately with their drinks. That's why I have been going in search of a new coffee place. Their drinks just seem to be different than they were when they first opened. Now they just seem really watered down. it's just not what it used to be Starbucks. I wish I could say something different and positive, but.... I can't. And I'm sorry to say it's not one specific location, it's all over the place. This Starbucks located inside Target Poisner Park shopping area. Stays busy but the are nice & get the customers out fast

Inside the Target, this location is easy to find, but only really useful if you are shopping here. They have a small amount of the regular Starbucks merch - mugs, tumblers, coffee presses, etc. They also have food options in the case, but some of it is different than the regular locations - think Target dog shaped cookies or cake pops! The service at this one is extremely hit or miss. Sometimes we'll go and it's decent. Other times we have been it's incredibly slow. We haven't had the same barista any time, so it looks like they have high turn over here. There are tables in the cafe area, but most of the time they are dirty and not really inviting to sit down...but they do have wifi if you want to hang. Overall: C- Inside a Target, slow moving and dirty tables. Can't recommend it overall, but if you want a coffee while you shop it's your only option in the area. read more

I wanted to grab some coffee before I started shopping. I noticed no one was in line but there were 2 people waiting to the side for their order. There were 2 people working and neither bothered to speak or say someone would be with me in a min. I wouldn't have minded the wait if they actually acknowledged me but I waited about 3-4 mins before Quinn came to the register. She still didn't acknowledge the wait nor did she speak. She just asked what did I want. I laughed and said wow really?? She was clueless smh. I literally love Starbucks and couldn't believe the employees would slack in this manner. I placed my order and waited to the side. The funny thing is the person behind me was greeted immediately after I stepped to the side and she took his order. It's no mystery that Starbucks is by far my favorite stop for coffee and other selections that are spontaneous dictated by my cravings at any given moment. I have visited literally hundreds of Starbucks' location since they've come into existence and although they all seem to be pretty consistence with the quality of the products they offer; the service, quality of the product, wait-time, cleanliness and accessibility of the location are the five points I will rate all of them on going forward - so to make the point I've recently incorporated a rating system based on this short list to calculate the rating of the locations I visit. Maybe 3.5 stars if only I could do halfsies... There are not as many coffee shops here in the Orlando area as we can find at home. Us Canadians do love our coffee, dontcha know! And when you do find a coffee shop around here, it's not always consistently good, or else it's tucked inside another store like this one was! In this case, inside a Target store. Having said that, this also is somewhat larger than the last Starbucks we saw, which was also tucked in another store. At least this one has a few tables, and seating by windows. The same standard of coffee, using filtered water (yay!!) and the bonus is that the coffee was marginally cheaper here than everywhere else; maybe because of the connection to Target? The one new thing for me was that I was asked to swipe my own gold card to pay, and was never asked my name - quite different for a Starbucks. Two of the staffers looked like retirees, and one was younger - it was him who made my coffee - a latte. My barista today is excellent. Very fast and very good customer service. I tried the organic coconut cookies vanilla bean. It' ms very sweet but tasted good. I didn't get my usual ice caramel macchiato because I wanted to try their Cinnamon Almond milk Macchiato. I don't like it as much as I like my Ice Caramel Macchiato. read more

This Starbucks needs to train employees asap I ask for steam milk and they just gave me something else couldn't return it as I was going to work. Decided to go back today since we love starbucks and again the wait was 40 min on the drivethru, couldn't go since I had cars behind me. This Starbucks is located in the Target at Posner Park. It is a Starbucks, so I don't think I really need to review the food or beverages, even those of us who don't drink much coffee have been to a Starbucks. Here's what you need to know about this Starbucks. This Starbucks is perpetually understaffed. It will take a long time for your drink, no matter what you order. There are usually between 1-3 people working behind the counter. If there are 3, then you have 1 taking orders, 1 cleaning, and 1 making drinks. This sounds efficient, but it's really not. Especially when the person in front of you orders 5 complicated things and all you ordered was an iced tea. Frequently, there is only 1 person working and they have to ring you up, make the drink, and clean the equipment. Moral of the story? Don't plan for this to be a quick stop. Here's the thing though, this Starbucks get away with terrible service because they are the only Starbucks, in fact the only coffee shop, anywhere around this area. Your only other options in the area are Fast Food joints like McDonalds or drive about 5 miles to Dunkin Donuts. read more

This was the slowest Starbucks I have ever seen and my drink wasn't even right after waiting for almost 30 minutes. I am not happy.

It is unfortunate that this Starbucks branch have a bad rating but I am not surprised. In the few times I have ordered from this particular branch the barista tend to have "attitude". Today, the barista "Michelle" was just have a bad attitude - mumbling to herself, essentially saying that it's a good thing I did not order the frappuccino (but rather the latte) as it is much more cumbersome for her to make it. No eye contact, no thank you from her. It's just too bad. Will be back again at some point for another review to see if service has improved. read more

Slowest Starbucks ever. Very incompetent and slow cashier and hunched over 80 year old (looking-idk exactly) man making the drinks, bless his heart. He's doing the best he can. After waiting in line 25 minutes for her to help 8 people, the cashier told me I can't have a venti ice water with my order bc someone else might need the cup. She wrote on it, changed her mind, then told me again I can't have it and that she would have to put it back in the holder. A different Target employee argued with me again about it..... in front of the approximately 20 guests in line. Very busy location. I would've left but no Starbucks for miles. This Starbucks has an extremely low standard for cleanliness. Tongs used to serve the food we're used to put used items in the trash can. The associates need to brush up on there customer service techniques quickly. Someone in this field should never talk back with any sort of attitude, o matter the situation. So this is about the Starbucks in Target just to be clear. I ordered a venti macha powder with two pumps of peach ( if u haven't tried it...do it) and encountered a piss poor manager. First off my order took like 15 minutes to be made only to forget the peach syrup. There were about 4 people in front of me and he saw the Barista needed assistance but didn't bother to help. It may have came out wrong due to the fact that he was in a semi heated discussion with his barista about how she can't have a certain date off to attend her sisters wedding because he was on vacation. TMI. I had to ask the pleasant barista for my pumps of peach which she kindly obliged. I also asked this guy how much the collectible mugs were and he replied "if u pull one out you can see the price on the bottom but I think they are $12.99" There were no price tag on the mugs. A typical Starbucks location inside a target, small, limited seating and hardly any staff. I will say on this occasion the employee was very efficient in getting my tea and snack completed quickly. I love my Starbucks Green Tea Latte. Used to order it every morning on my way to work in NY. Unfortunately, this Starbucks is the closest to my home now that I've retired to FL. Although it has the Starbucks name, the drinks are not done correctly and or do not follow the successful proven recipes. I've literally have had to instruct the barista how to prepare my drink! The customer-proven service is non existent and there is no pride in what the staff does. To make matters worst, the area behind the counter is filthy. I have stopped ordering my drinks at target and only purchase them when I'm at a "real" Starbucks; where I can count excellence, great customer service and a real passion from the baristas. I feel that this business decision of allowing target employees to represent the Starbucks brand is only hurting a great product.
