They opened in June 2020, right when the pandemic was really in its big peak, and they've managed to find huge success and garner such a loyal customer base (cough cough). Everything about Sunshine Nutrition is fantastic, and I think some other nutrition places could really take down some notes from these guys. Jocelyn and Isaiah, the owners, are just so genuinely passionate about their business. After going so much I've gotten to know them a lot better and they work so hard and have such a neat story. I've even interviewed Jocelyn for a school project, because she's so inspiring in how she's handled the business. They really do their best to stay innovative, coming up with new flavors, specials and rewards every week or so and keeping it fun and interesting. That's tough to do with any business, let alone a small locally owned one. Beyond all this, their products are BUMPIN! Hands down they have the best teas I've tried of any nutrition shop thus far and their shakes too. I go to a lot of nutritions shops, it's my thing. I don't just blindly hand out compliments like that. These guys are the real deal and they light up the night. I live 40 minutes away and I literally stop here any chance I can, and I've already filled out a punch card in just one year not living in the area. Put that into perspective. It was friendly (greeted walking through the door) and efficient in ordering. I got the seasonal Watermelon Mojito smoothie and chipotle chicken flatbread. For my side, I opted for fruit (apple). The other free option was chips. Everything came out in a reasonable time. We did opt to eat in the car, as we personally found it loud with the patrons, music, and blenders, but I understand that's more of a personal matter. Overall, I would say the flatbread quality is on par with Subway, so that may or may not be your kind of thing. But it is something we enjoy from time to time so it was good for us. In fact, I'll gladly drive to this location just to get my favorite meal and shake because the one closer to my house doesn't even come close. They tried to convince me over and over that it was the guava that changes the color. I tried telling them over and over that I have had the smoothie many many times and never received a peach color. It also had no flavor. So they politely made it again. She put in two small scoops (looked like 1/4 cup scoops) of mango, 1 of pineapple, and whatever liquid, a lot of ice, gave it to me .... And it was an ice filled drink with no flavor and it was little yellow - not at all creamy mango like I've had every time I've ordered the same smoothie from other stores. I didn't ask for her to take out the guava, I asked for her to make it like the recipe is. I literally just wanted a mango smoothie and I was really frustrated they were skimping on the ingredients. I was not rude, I spoke politely, and she kept telling me it was the guava... Then I got home and took a bite of my wrap.... And it's pictured. Don't know if they were upset I asked her to remake it, but it was gross.
