The aesthetic, lighting, music selection, and volume were all perfectly balanced. It created an environment that genuinely supported whatever you needed to do. Whether you were meeting with someone, sitting with a group, or working independently, the space worked for all of it. I spent several hours here working and was noticeably more productive than I usually am at coffee shops. Nothing felt distracting. The music was at the right level, the temperature was comfortable, and the overall energy felt calm, focused, and welcoming. It was one of those rare places where everything just felt right. The restrooms were clean, updated, and accessible, which always matters. Everything we ordered was in stock and prepared exactly as requested. Drinks and snacks were made with care and consistency. Parking was also convenient. There is a garage available, and while I did not drive myself, it was easy to access and a plus for anyone coming in by car. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. Raul was exceptional. He represented everything you hope for in a Starbucks team member. He worked seamlessly with his colleagues, treated every guest with the same level of attention and respect, and went far beyond a standard greeting. He remembered names, read both spoken and unspoken cues with ease, and adjusted his approach thoughtfully. What stood out most was his consistency. Over the course of several hours, I watched him interact with guests, and every interaction reflected the same care and professionalism. Because of the environment and the service, especially Raul's, this is absolutely a location I will return to. I don't typically go to Starbucks anymore, but a friend gave me a gift card so came here to have a coffee. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot underground and it will be validated for 2.5-3 hours! I came in an it was a beautiful, clean, gigantic location! The staff was so nice. I got a simple coffee with oatmeal. The team was so great. It was quiet. I really enjoyed my time here. I don't mind coming back in the future. read more

We really love this Starbucks. It's a reserve location and it has lots of seating. The baristas are always super nice and the area gives you a fun place to walk around if you want to be outside. You can easily walk to Klyde Warren Park as well. They have a garage attached to the location and they will validate so that your first three hours are free. Large indoor seating space as well as outdoor tables with umbrellas in the cozy front plaza area. I appreciate that there is plenty of space to stand or sit while waiting for your drinks and food as this is often not the case with the regular Starbucks I frequent in the Bay Area. Not recommended if you're in a hurry on a weekend! The line was so long I must have waited a decent while just to order. It's possible the staff was still in training, but I couldn't help but notice how slowly the drinks were coming out. All I needed was a nitro cold brew (it's just on tap) and I had to remind them what I ordered after 10 min had passed. A fun spot for a unique Starbucks experience. These baristas are top of the line and clearly love their product. They'll often have unique drinks you can't get anywhere else. Fun to visit if only for the unique experience. There is a nice patio space to compliment the dining area. read more

Right across from the Ritz Carlton and it's a large location...plenty of seating in and outdoor and just overall a good vibe to the place. I came out of curiosity but ended up speaking at length with the barista who directed me to the Reserve Bar...unfortunately they didn't have everything to try the "flight" so I ended up just getting a pour over which was good...Colombia Finca La Reserva...he even gave me a card all about the beans...from Geography, Variety and Processing.... I had to come back the next day and have another drink....this time I just got a Soy Latte which is my usual since it was my breakfast....ended up buying yet another water bottle but now I have one with the "R" on it..... My husband and I often frequent Starbucks but we've never been to a Starbucks Reserve of any sort and it seems like any that we did have in Houston were closed. Right before we made the long drive back to Houston, we decided we wanted drinks but... all the boba places were on the far side. As a result, Starbucks was the obvious choice. I randomly searched for a few locations nearby and found this one - and it had the magical R word. Off we went! This place is set on the ground floor of an office building. We missed it the first time and had to make a round around the block to figure out where exactly the entrance was. Luckily, there is garage parking and you can have your ticket validated. At a glance, it looks familiar though it follows the design of more "high end" Starbucks. Then little details pop out at you. The first thing I noticed is a vast majority of the clientele at this location are business people and it was rather crowded at around 2 pm on a Sunday. Most were dressed up a bit and occupied with a laptop. I noticed because I had a toddler with me and we stood out. The chairs were rather comfortable and it's on the larger side. The menu is also different - more compact and specialized. My husband is all about his black coffee, so he got his usual tall coffee while I rolled my eyes. As for me, my favorite drink at Starbucks is the Nitro Cold Brew with extra Sweet Cream. This place took it up a notch and offered a Nitro Cold Brew Float ($9) and you bet I ordered that! The person taking my order was very nice and patient with all my questions. I was interested in a Reserve cup and he went to see what they had and the price. He came back telling me the price but that their larger cup should be in stock in a few days and he recommended I wait for that. There was no rush and I felt so at ease that it was a complete surprise that the line grew by 10 people once I was done. Oops. The employees seemed to be very attentive and passionate about what they served. The cups were the same but there were little details that set the Reserve location apart. The coffee came in the usual cup though the sleeve was black. My grande float came in a reusable plastic cup with a lid and a black straw and the R. There were 2 smallish scoops of vanilla ice cream inside. It was so good... but I only got to take a few sips to start. I finally got to drink most of it well into the drive back, when the ice cream had completely melted into the cold brew. It was DELICIOUS. It made it more creamy and the vanilla just rounded it off - much more fragrant than my usual sweet cream. It saddens me that there isn't a Reserve in Houston so I won't get a taste of it again in a long while, but perhaps I'll just order the nitro cold brew, bring it home and add in two scoops of vanilla bean gelato when I crave it. Do note this location isn't all that kid friendly. I caught several side eyes from some other customers when my nugget was making a fuss because she wanted to run around but we wouldn't let her. Overall, the place is tastefully designed, service was impeccable, and parking wasn't a huge headache despite the downtown location. I just wish they had all their cups stocked and there was one closer to me! read more

So this is one of the fanciest Starbucks I've ever been to. This is my second visit the first time the cashier wasn't that helpful. So I ended up getting a white chocolate mocha which is a traditional Starbucks drink. However this time the cashier was extremely helpful and I asked her what drink was special to this location. After asking me a couple of questions we decided on this reserve hazelnut nitro whatever it was delicious. I'm literally writing this review passing time until I go to sleep, wake up and go back to get another it was perfect like magic in a cup. read more

Got to the store at 6:54. When I was walking up to the store entrance, I see the associate locking the door. When I pull the door handle, of course it's locked. So I knock. The associates ignore me for about 3 minutes as I continue to knock. Finally a customer opens the door for me. One associate says we close at 7:00. I say well I got here at 6:54. I then walk to another associate who takes my order. If you close at 7:00, you should expect to serve customers until 7:00. I am sure the store owner would not be happy that you tried to refuse a paying customer during business hours. Stop being lazy. read more

The parking lot is underground and free for the first 2 hours, just remember to get your ticket validated at the counter. Outside, I felt like I was in the heart of the city. Walking in, I definitely didn't feel like I was in the typical Starbucks. This was Starbucks' trendy and modern cousin, fully equipped with fancy espresso/coffee contraptions, helpful baristas, and of course the sexy black cups. Hands down the best cup of soy flat white I've had. Came here early in the morning before making the drive down to Houston as per friend's recommendation and I was so happy that I did!! I literally smiled after taking the first sip. This being said, I should also mention that this is the most expensive cup of soy flat white I've ordered. And yes, it was so worth. The interior has nice high ceilings, a long table for groups and quite a few small tables. The bathroom is gender neutral and clean and nice. Discovered this Starbucks Reserve Bar while staying across the street at the Ritz Carlton Dallas. A short walk from the hotel and you are at the door steps to a unique Starbucks experience. I was instantly greeted by Derrik and his customer service was amazing. I felt like I was on a personal tour with all the explanations about the coffees they offer. You can certainly see the passion he has about Starbucks and coffee in general. I ended up trying a couple of drinks and they were amazing. Sitting at the bar and watching the staff make coffee is truly an awesome experience. The vibe and atmosphere definitely made the visit five stars. Starbucks Reserve has arrived in Dallas. Like its flagship store in Seattle, you can order reserve drinks, cold brews, affagato's in addition to your favorite Frappuccino. It's located in the new McKinney & Olive development in uptown. It's more than your average Starbucks. Fans, coffee lovers, and tourists are all welcome. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The Starbucks Reserve is one of the nicest Starbucks in DFW. It's medium sized with plenty of outdoor seating. It's a beautiful store with a ceiling assembled with rich dark wood that wraps arounds the entire Starbucks. There's a dedicated bar with the cold brew devices front & center. There are bigger Starbucks in DFW, but this feels like it's the most high end. You'll need to park in the garage as there is limited access from the street. 1 Star. Service - The main difference between this Starbucks & others is you're going to be asking lots of questions. The menu is a lot bigger than others, and the methods of brewing are also different. So have patience if the person in front of you spends extra time ordering. The staff was great & helped us with our selections. 1 Star. Food - It's a Starbucks. No, not really, it's so much more. The menu is expanded to include cold brew methods & other selections. It's not cheap though. I ordered the Nitro Affagetto ($9) which was a cold brew infused with nitrogen. Yes I overpaid but I like unique items. It was smooth, thick - almost like a dark beer including a crown. I also had a Iced Hazelnut Latte Bianco. It's cold, sweet, creamy & made for the Texas heat. A little pricey but I enjoyed it. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Only with first timers. Let's be honest, this Starbucks is for tourists & fans. Hardcore Starbucks drinkers should not come here unless you work in the area. That being said, it's worth a visit on a weekend with friends who want to experience more than your typical Starbuck offerings. 1/2 Stars. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars - Food - I'll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it's really all about the food. 1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. "Fancy" done right. I love laid back, fancy spots and this SB Reserve is just that. It's beautiful inside. You can sit at the bar, at a table, on a sofa, outside - just pick a spot and make yourself comfy. Staff was really sweet and seemed honestly excited to explain the different brewing methods and menu selections. I'm a "malt fiend," so I was thrilled to try the Cold-Brew Malt. My hubby is a coffee purist, so he went for the Brew Comparison Flight. We both love that they serve beverages to in-store patrons with real glassware and mugs. Of course, everything was delicious. I could taste the coffee, malt, ice cream and chocolate in my malt. It was perfectly not too sweet. The coffee in the comparison flight was exquisite. We both had the "jitters" after drinking all of that coffee, but it was worth it. And, yes, items here are pricey. But, as long as the quality of the products offered and the service level remains high, I will be back "once in while" on special occasions. read more

So happy to finally have one of these in Dallas! Having been to the ultimate Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Seattle, I was so excited to see that I was finally getting one much closer to home. While the Dallas location is not as big and extravagant as Seattle (there is no on-site Roastery) they offer the same menu! Located in the McKinney and Olive building, next to Del Frisco, parking garage is available. Remember to have your Starbucks card loaded (get them points) you can easily spend up to $20 for 2 people. We had: House Affogato - espresso shots with vanilla ice cream and a dusting of cinnamon. Make sure to stir around a little before scooping your first bite to get the full taste. It was excellent! Grande Iced Dark Chocolate Mocha Latte - a take on the usual mocha drink, it was definitely much more chocolate-tasting. I couldn't really taste the actual dark chocolate, more like tasted just an overly mocha'd regular drink. It was ok, probably won't order again. Grande Iced Hazelnut Bianco - sweetened to perfection. I definitely recommend this as they do not have this menu item at your typical local Starbucks. The atmosphere of the Reserve is great too. This is not your typical Starbucks. Great for a first date, lots of open seating and a few couches. Not too loud and very intimate. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely stop by. read more

This is my first experience with Starbucks Reserve and I am thrilled to say it is now my local Starbucks. Inside looks amazing with plenty of sitting. The reserve menu is really what kicks it up! If you love your coffee like me you enjoy a good crafted brew. They are always quick the wait is usually 2-3 mins after placing your order. I have came at different times of the day and this seems to be average. Only downside is they don't have much of a selection for the branded cups and tumblers. For the size of the place I would think they would have all that is made on display. read more

I've heard of this Starbucks Reserve concept and I was excited to hear one recently opened in Dallas. This coming from a person that will only go to Starbucks during their Frappacino Happy Hours. It's elevated version of a Starbucks, kind of like something you would find at a local coffee shop, but still has a very much corporate feel. You see coffee beans from Venezuela around the shop. Great service from the barista as when I first walked in, she asked me if I was my first time and proceeded to walk me through the menu. I got the Nitro Cold Brew (~$6) and I enjoyed it.
