I go to Starbucks and ask for a small coffee, never asked for room for anything and I got shorted 25% of my coffee. I thought it was light, but it was small. When I got home and put it in my coffee mug, I had half a cup of coffee. I stopped going to Starbucks because I always felt it was a rip off. Now I know I was right to refuse to come back in. I normally come here to study, NEVER again. Obviously my Starbucks scan and pay was not working properly. The lady said " Just come one" snatched money out my hand. Very unprofessional behavior and then proceeded to just complain about being ready to go. Negative energy while everyone else around her ignored her and stayed positive. read more

Holiday drinks are back and so are the cute cups! This location is across from Flower Child and on the same strip as Rise No.1. The drinks come out fairly quick but can be a minute when there's a rush of people passing through. Nice enough atmosphere like any other Starbucks, you could definitely study or read a book in this store. The place itself isn't huge at all but still a comfy area to relax and have some coffee or to grab a quick bite. The staff has been super nice and efficient. I've been going during my lunch break as it's across from where I work. No issues and complaints so far and there's always a handful of people around the area chilling. I was looking forward to my matcha latte and was given a bogo through the app. when I get there to order my 2 ventis they only filled up my cup half way saying they technically wasn't allowed to fil it up to the top because there was no ice in my drink. I'm assuming the manager or lead was the one saying this but she wasn't very pleasant as I've never had this issue before. it kind of took away from experience that I was looking forward too. she even wanted to throw the drinks away when I asked for an extra pump instead of just giving me a small cup to add it myself. and she was looking me in the eye has she was talking to the barista making my drink saying to only fill my cup with milk and not the actual matcha powder that I asked for which in turn was not a good drink. Hands down my favorite Starbucks in dallas! This location does not have a drive thru, but they're the baristas are so friendly and fun! I love to try the seasonal drinks that Starbucks offers.... But my go to drink is an iced coffee with vanilla bean powder added! A barista here told me to try it and it's delicious:)! I've noticed a few new employees making the hot foods... which has led to a longer wait time for hot foods... but well worth the wait:)! read more

Out of all of the starbucks I have visited over the years, this one has got to be the worst. Each time I go the staff gets ruder and my order never comes out right. On my last visit I ordered a drip coffee and got a green tea frappucino....when I stated that I ordered a drip coffee and not the frap, the barista told me to get in line (which, I was the only one in the store) and pay for my drip coffee. I think that the only reason I keep coming to this Starbucks is for the literal convenience of it's location. Cons: The seating/lack of outlets is horrible, the patrons are those of Highland Park/University Park (read: snooty), and the baristas are not the most friendly. In my most recent visit I gaily stepped up to the counter, smiling and said "Hello!" The response I got was of complete ignoration (the state of willfulling ignoring someone/thing), while the barista continued to complain about a register. Pros: The location is in the Village Shops of Inwood (or whatever they are called) so utterly convenient to pick up a coffee while perusing shops/ Trader Joes, the decor is very cool (neato door handles) and the outside area is full of friendly dogwalkers. Really like this location as there is ample parking and the design is really nice. I would say 99% of the staff is awesome and super friendly, but there is one guy who acts like he doesn't have the time of day to take my order. He was just really rude to me when my phone was acting up and I was trying to pay. Everyone else though, fantastic! The barista working the bar are also some of the best I have ever experienced. My drinks are always on point and the guy with the one tunnel in his ear looks like that guy in all those romantic movies set in England. Ugh what is his name? Oh well, still cute! I have learned not to expect much from Starbucks and this place makes me right. Ordered their Chorizo egg sandwich and thy told me they were out. The other option was a Gouda egg sandwich, so I ordered that instead. It was ready fast but totally bland - hard to eat - so I went looking for salt and pepper. It was nowhere to be found so I asked at the counter and was told they didn't have any. No salt and pepper in a restaurant. Really. I told them that the sandwich was bland and tasteless. Nice and spacious. Everyone seems very friendly. Plenty of room inside and out. Especially the outside. Lots of room to sit and chat or catch up on some work on beautiful days. This is a great Starbucks. I love that there is a Starbucks in Inwood Village. I often am at this location on Saturdays and it starts my day off just right. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. The line is never overly long and I get my drink right every time within a few minutes. The low Yelp rating surprised me. This S Bux location is consistently great. I'm a frequent flyer at the Lovers location to indulge in my caffeine over dose. My drinks are always made correctly and quickly. The store itself has great scenery to look at due to the high end shops surrounding it. This store is always clean and customer service has always been more than accommodating. I would have to honestly say this is one of my favorite locations in Dallas. This is one of my Starbucks that I am not at a lot, but I agree that the staff here on multiple occasions are not as friendly as other locations. They seem in a rush (and I think there's a difference between rushed and having a sense of urgency). On a few occasions my order has been wrong and today in particular it seemed like an annoyance to the barista.
