I enjoy the energy in here. I do homework here a lot and the team is usually pretty friendly. The environment could be cleaned up a little more frequently and the girls could probably watch their mouths a bit when talking about customers, but overall I appreciate their energy. Wow. I ordered a Venti Caramel Macchiato... Got the size of a grande in my cup. Also a Pike's Place coffee that tasted burnt. I understand the location is busy, so I don't mind a wait. I do mind when I am not given a product that I am paying for. This is my regular order everywhere and for years, so I know what I'm comparing it to. My husband also said his Macchiato wasn't good either. Driving through from Inlet Beach, on our way home to Austin, Texas and I think this might just be the most lively and polite staff I've ever seen in a Starbucks. You can hear them calling out and communicating needs for orders amongst one another, but also the greetings to every customer. Two regulars walked in while we were sitting here, and they both were greeted by name. What a cool feeling for those people! Food and drinks came out quick! I always find a Starbucks when traveling the weather was terrible with rain and fog I had been on the road for more than 10 hours this place was an oasis. Had my normal venti no foam latte with an extra shot it was perfect also a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese it was spot on. I went inside so I can't speak for the drive through but it appeared everyone in this town drives through so I am sure the lines are a little longer than the McDonalds the locals frequent. The two guys who were working the bar and window were just as nice and friendly as they could be! I'm a loyal mobile app user for my Starbucks orders. Saturday mornings are usually my day to swing and grab my latte before hitting the beach. There's no indoor seating at this location right now. Today was the first time in two months that I wasn't waiting 30+ minutes after the estimated completion time the app gave me to pick up my order. I am a bit disappointed in how the mobile ordering "pick up" is inside the store. I'd advise against mobile ordering "hot" food with orders, because like this morning, my "hot" breakfast sandwich was cold because it was made way before my iced latte was. It's sometimes impossible to get a baristas attention to "check" if a mobile order is ready - because it's extremely hard to hear the baristas call names out. It would be nice if a TV screen or something was available to show who's mobile orders were available to keep people from standing around for extended periods of time waiting for someone to call out an order or be available to check if it's done. You used to be able to walk in, check the name on an item in the mobile order area and grab your order an go. Now, with the orders behind the counter you may as well go to the front counter and ask for your order because there's no designated person to check/hand out mobile orders. The drive thru is probably the worst set up I have ever seen. The parking lot is super small and it's usually difficult to pull in and park because people in the drive thru line just park/stop wherever they want. The craziness of the drive thru occasionally blocking traffic on 85 becomes a potentially dangerous situation as well. I'd recommend mobile ordering at least 30-45 minutes in advance over using the drive thru, and parking in the parking lot directly south of Starbucks so you don't get blocked in the Starbucks parking lot. read more

This place has become the slowest service ever! You order your drinks online 10 minutes in advance and still wait 20 minutes inside for your drink. The drive thru takes even longer. Since the remodel earlier this year, the store has been horribly slow at getting orders out. Part of it is because so many new people work there now. If it weren't the only Starbucks in town, I would never go here. The owner or manager or someone in charge needs to do something. When you are inside the baristas run around like they have no idea what they are doing, 1 person is making drinks, 1 person is working the drive thru and then there are like 3-4 other people just lost. I usually don't review Starbucks but this place just got renovated and it's great. There's a lot more room, better seating, more power outlets, nitro cold brew, and the noise level has reduced. The speed and customer service at this location has declined dramaticly recently. Today was not the first time I've had to wait 15 minutes for my mobile order. I counted about 10 employees (several came out from the back and disappeared again) and at one point there was no one making drinks. When they got their act together, two of the baristas started to complain about mobile orders and how they wished they weren't allowed. As I waited for my mobile order. They said it is too crazy and it's not fair to the customers who actually come in, not just order on their phone. One of them did offer a helpful suggestion of having a separate bar for mobile orders. After waiting 15 minutes and being late to work it may be some time before I go back. read more

Continuously poor service. Have been here multiple times. Get a crossed face look at the cash register from an older lady who I'm not comfortable with serving me. Looks like a geriatric patient. Only two people in front of us and have to wait eight minutes for an order. It's one of those things where you just wonder how hard is it to take the order and then produce the order. Also, answering a question about double points today shouldn't be so difficult. Be aware of what your company is offering as far as sales whether it be on the app, or post that on your board. Be familiar. Care about what you do. Act like I exist. How about just serving me with a pleasant face even if you don't have the answer. Just answer the question. Don't twist your face and look all contorted and acting like it's such a difficult question while referring me to an 800 number to get an answer. We passed the Dunkin' Donuts to come here and it's one of those things where you're not sure exactly what you feel like and then after you get this kind of service and pretty much answers the question. Go where you'll get good service. Coffee places are a dime a dozen and they have to work a little bit harder to get you to be a repeat customer and spend your money. I guess the sensitivity training that was provided corporate wide has not really sunken in yet. After 14 minutes, an update to this review is that I left without the product. Don't care that I paid for it. They obviously need the money to hire, train, and retain staff. They probably will not read the review or learn from it. But at some point maybe they will hire people that actually can't turn out a drink. read more
