Nice new location on the corner of La Grange and Joliet Road. Its in a plaza, but it has the end, so there is a drive thru. I can get in and out fast and off to work. It's the typical layout and friendly staff. Lots of parking too. Sometimes some locations lack that because of the shared plaza space. Now time to unload all my starbucks monies here :) read more

Genuine and attentive service! I had returned a day later after rushing out and forgetting my pastries. The fault was my own but they were more than happy to get me the refund and a drink on the house! I live near by and have seen much improvement over the summer months. They are super busy but very sweet and the interior is very homey and clean. I love coming to study on quiet afternoons or to bring my friends to sit down and relax. Super disappointed coming here... I've been to several Starbucks locations and none like this one. I ordered two exact iced coffees, and both were made differently so I told one of the employees and all he said was "one was different from the other." And had an attitude about having to make them over. I also ordered two danish and requested they be heated up and they gave them to me cold..... Honestly I understand why people get upset. The store is super busy and the wait time does take long . But the only reason is because it's a very popular store. What do people expect? All the drinks are handcrafted. Of course you're going to wait in line for 10 -15 minutes. If your 8th in line. The experience I had was amazing and everyone was genuine and really helpful! These customers are so rude to the baristas and I wish I would've said something to them. I've seen the baristas crying while making drinks and this is not okay! I made sure to let them know that I appreciate them and I hope I made her feel better. I love every single employee here! There's Deborah, Brian, the girl with the red lipstick and the one with the brown lipstick who transferred stores. They're all so extremely pleasant and accommodating, fretting everyone with a smile. The atmosphere in there is perfect the music is usually at a nice and low volume perfect for studying. I don't know what it is but since I've moved to Cook County I am paying way more for way less. More taxes but less quality of service. Many Starbucks fail in basic customer service. This one is no exception. I literally had two employees in front of me going over a checklist as if I wasn't even standing there. Driving cross country can be difficult. Trying to find a good cup of coffee? Ridiculous. I thought I was making a safe bet walking into a Starbucks. Honestly I think this is my first bad starbucks experience and it could have just been the day I know anything can happen. The first time I got my drink I noticed he put coconut milk in it, I had asked for extra cream. My other concern was the way he made my cold brew, milk, water, then coffee. I know that doesn't seem like a big deal but the proportions are based on the lines on the cup. He was eying it. I mentioned the milk was supposed to be cream, he graciously apologized and told me he'd remake it that it would be out shortly. The second time it came out I had to add cream and I could instantly tell there was too much coffee and not enough water. I would have said something but we were in a hurry to get to our hotel. read more

I'm not a Yelp person so I hope I'm doing this right. I go to Starbucks very frequently as I'm a teacher and sometimes run on coffee. This is my local one, so I go there the most! Since I go in so much, one barista knows me by name. I want to give props because they go above and beyond each time I come in, to say hello to me and other customers that come in by name. The service has improved since opening, but still not very good, not by Starbucks standards. If you're looking for a place to work prepare to be disappointed. The plethora of seating with draw you in, the noise levels will drive you out.
