I've only been to this Starbucks about 3 times and I was disappointed each time. I'll have to remind myself not to go back. I'm never in the area but I stop at the nearest Starbucks while on the expressway and it happens to be this location. This day they were extremely slow. What I thought would take me only 5 min took about twenty. I was happy the barista apologized and thanked me for my patience but i only stayed because I was stuck in the drive through lol. The first time i came thru forgot to give me part of my order and the guy at the window wasn't too friendly. Not like your average Starbucks barista. I usually tip every time I come to Starbucks, but this visit was disappointing. The barista seemed uninterested and a bit rude. Even though I left a dollar tip, instead of a thank you, I got an eye roll. On top of that, I was charged for extra foam, which I've been told at other Starbucks locations should not be an extra charge. As someone who has worked in customer service, I know how much the way you treat a customer speaks volumes. Unfortunately, that seems to be something that's lacking these days. This is for a few weeks ago but just had time to post: Ugh... not a good experience with my drink again, with this location. The crew, who tells me: "We are making youre drink right, it's EVERY OTHER Starbucks that is making it wrong!" Is kind of a turnoff for a customer that comes frequently. IMO they did not listen well today, as I ordered at the drive thru. I often have to repeat it or correct something at the window. The manager is nice but they could not get my drink right the last 3-5 times. Even the Target Starbucks nearby got it right lol. My advice would be check the headphones and speakers to be sure there's no issue there, then be sure to train staff to listen well and please don't get an attitude when I'm continuously being extremely polite, despite dropping 6.00$-8.00$ on a drink that I'm spurring on to have a nice day. I come to this Starbucks 3-4 times per week normally. The line can be long depending on the time you go, but I also have gone plenty of times where there is no line at all. First time coming here. Came here on a break. This place is fairly nice. Definitely up to date as well. Staff is friendly, it has power mats in its tables for your phones. I was in there the other day when a customer wouldn't wear their masks so the barista asked if they could put it on and he started screaming obscenities, foul & vulgar language. Not to mention. I'm always shopping at the Aldi by here so it was easy to cut through and get a beverage. I stepped inside the store to order, but there is a drive-thru option too. I found the staff friendly and the vibe in here was relaxed. It was midday on a weekday so it was not busy, which I know is probably not the norm. I decided to try one of their new cold brew coffees and added almond milk to it (plus sweetner). Holy moly, was it one of the best coffee drinks I'd ever had! Truth be told, I'm more of a dunkin girl, so I only come to starbucks with a gift card. But for the quality of the drink and the service I received, I'd gladly come back here for that! read more

This new Starbucks is really beautiful. The Eco-materials used in construction are a nice touch. Baristas here are very friendly and were on their game (this was day 3!) Coffee prepared was hot and craft fully prepared. Chris is very friendly. This location is HUGE, too. Will definitely be back. A lot! read more

The drive thru takes FOREVER!! I been here several times and every single time I have to wait a long time (10 mins sometimes) for a drink.... If you go inside, you can expect your drink faster! This is THE WORST Starbucks store I have EVER visited. Unfortunately, the other two locations closest to me do not have a drive through. The staff is very courteous and upbeat, but they are SLOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!! Drive throughs are supposed to be designed for speed and convenience. It is ridiculously faster to just go in and order. And don't bother trying to do a phone order pickup...it's never ready when you arrive. This is usually my go- to Starbucks because it has a drive thru. However the events that happened tonight just add to the list of how this location has been going downhill. Tonight has me singing a different tune. The barista ignored three cars in the drive thru this evening at around 9:30. And at 9:47 it was lights out when they are supposed to be open until 10 o'clock according to Google. I mean just because it is close to quittin' time does not mean you do - I don't stop helping customers at my job 15 minutes early because I just want to go home on time. This shows a disappointing side to customer service at this location that is for sure. It will be awhile until I come back to this location. Since normal service during their day time shifts aren't doing any better. The afternoon duo takes ten minutes to make a drink meanwhile I can get through McDonalds drive thru in a minute with coffee. read more

I once thought the Starbucks in Lyons was the worst, but this place is right there with them. The Countryside store gets the drinks correct each time, which is an improvement over the Lyons store. But everything else is worse. The wait times in the drive thru are ridiculously long. They apologize for the wait every time I go there. Going inside doesn't help because they're just as slow and can't seem to call out the orders in a manner where you can actually hear if this is your drink coming up. Mobile ordering is basically like waiting in line. There's nothing here that happens fast. An even bigger complaint is they seem to be out of drinks and food constantly. Want cold brew after 10AM? Forget it, they're all out. They advertised a gluten free sandwich on their drive thru menu for the longest time without actually having it in the store. This went on for about 2 months. I think they finally have it now. They also seem to be out of the basics (hot drink sleeves, stoppers, caps, regular size straws, etc.). I stopped going there for the past several months because of these issues...until today. I made the epic mistake of deciding to stop here on my way home. The drive thru line wasn't that long. 20 minutes later, we had our drinks. I'll repeat that...20 minutes in a drive thru line that wasn't very long to begin with. Once you get in, there's no way to exit. You're stuck in the misery. I'm finally done with this location...for good. I'll stick with mobile ordering at the downtown La Grange and the new Western Springs stores. I never wait very long at either store and they always have what I want. read more

Employee had no clue how to enter a simple drink into the computer so after waiting in line for 10 minutes, I had to just order it through the mobile app. I asked her to expedite my order since I'd already waited and she flat out refused. Nice new location on the corner of La Grange and Joliet Road. Its in a plaza, but it has the end, so there is a drive thru. I can get in and out fast and off to work. It's the typical layout and friendly staff. Lots of parking too. Sometimes some locations lack that because of the shared plaza space. Now time to unload all my starbucks monies here :) read more

I goto this location often and don't understand why it does not have great reviews. The baristas at this location are some of the best especially Mack (hope I spelled that right) Mack is pleasant and kind every time I come thru. He is quick and knows his stuff. Also if any of you are as worried as I am about this pandemic were in, this location takes the covid 19 protocols very seriously.
