This is a lovely Starbucks location in the scenic mountain town of Conifer. We were served by a barista in training who clearly did his best, though it seemed like several staff members may have been new, as our order initially came out incorrect. Then the replacement was incorrect too. Once everything was sorted, the drinks and snacks were enjoyable, and it was a comfy place to relax before a long drive into the mountains. They were also open on a holiday, which we truly appreciated. read more

Devin messed up the order and was not very apologetic, then manager Anthony was A-hole when asked about the situation. Horrible custom service that could have been very easily avoided. read more

Maggie took my order and had amazing customer service skills! The gingerbread chai is so good I recommend it to everyone. However I noticed while Maggie was taking orders there was another worker named Stephanie who seemed to keep doing thing Maggie was already doing and giving out her orders before she could in order to make Maggie look bad or something? That kinda struck me weird but other than that this location is amazing and filed with lovely people! read more

This is just a horribly ran business. Bathrooms that are filthy, slow service, telephones not working. I stopped in the other day to get my wife a grande flat white. I finished placing my order at the drive through and the young woman told me five something. She never asked me if I wanted a sleeve for the very hot cup. I had to ask her for it. I left her no tip. I noticed today on my bank statement that I paid $8.00 for that coffee. I will never go back to starbucks!!! read more

Well this place has had a turnaround. Responsive employees. Clean. Took no time to get our order ... and they got it right this time without forgetting anything. The music was a bit loud for my taste (yes, I'm THAT old fogie) but it was good music nonetheless. If you don't need a pit stop, there's a drive thru! read more

My blonde roast coffee (very simple) was hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and efficient. I know, I know, Starbucks coffee is expensive, but I was pleased with this location and although the shop is located just off the highway, the view through the windows is beautiful. Full disclosure: I'm from Dallas, TX. Compared to where I've been, this place is beautiful. read more

Ok. First off. It's Starbucks. You should know what to expect. A solid place for non-third wave, dessert coffee drinks or over-roasted burnt coffee. If neither of those are to your liking, fair enough. I would never order straight coffee from Starbucks, but a white chocolate mint breve? Sure! Their overdark espresso stands up great to the milk and sugar. I am reviewing this because there seem to be a lot of haters on this location from the past. There were two baristas. Both were exceptionally friendly and got our ridiculously diva order perfect. The place was clean, and pleasant. It's definitely better than some Starbucks I have been to. From our singular experience, all was great! read more

6 bucks or more for coffee? Plus the fact that those points you get per visitor , they like to snatch back from you if you don't get in as often . The prices are stupid for a coffeehouse. Haven't been back since they jacked up the price of the drinks. read more

If this business does not get with it, it will go out of business!! Seven employees and we ordered 1 pumpkin muffin and 1 bagel. Got our coffee in a fast manner; but, it was about 10 minutes when I asked one of the workers where the muffin and bagel were. He checked and came back and said that there was no one assigned to fill the food order! After waiting even longer, the order was brought up and it had a bagel and a cold Pumpkin Scone, not the muffin my friend ordered. Also, most of the tables were full of people doing business or on computers and we had to sit close to a realtor making a property sale. Not eating or drinking coffee. My friend asked what happened and I told her, 7 employees and no one getting the food order! This is the free-standing Conifer, Colorado, Starbuck's read more

Nice friendly staff; offered a free shot of cappuccino and handled my CHRISSY special drink in stride. I happened to be up in Conifer and of course the lovely green maiden beckoned. Sometimes mountain Starbucks can be a little snooty but this one greeted me like an old friend. It's one of the largest indoors that I've seen with three separate sets of cozy furniture and lots of tables along with a small patio in the front and a huge patio to the side. Your view if you look just beyond the parking lot is spectacular. read more

Awful. Burnt tasting coffee at Starbucks and employees that only care where your political preferences are. If you really want a small coffee shop experience, this isn't it. If you want to be lectured on how unwoke you are, stop on in for some crappy coffee. read more

I'll be honest. I don't come here for coffee. I actually typically never go to Starbucks. The prices are a massive turn off, so I just avoid it. My son loves throw cake pops so I got him one, a sausage egg and cheese, and ordered myself a chicken caprese panini. While I still refuse to buy their coffee, I'll be back for that sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and while I don't remember the cost, it was worth it. Staff was friendly. You'd have 5 stars if your prices weren't outrageous for the Starbucks name :) read more

So relieved this location is here! A tricky to find depending on what direction your coming from but you'll get there! This place is so close to my house I could walk there if 285 wasn't in the way! Love this SBUX! read more

A standard Starbucks with a drive-thru lane. If you're in a rush, definitely order ahead. The parking lot kind of stinks (if there's a long drive thru line, then you're gonna be sitting there for a while, whether you're parked to pick up your order or exiting the drive thru), but on the plus side the staff are very kind. read more

Fairly typical Starbucks with a drive-thru lane. For some reason, the printer at the drive thru rarely is working, so having to hold up the line of cars behind to wait for a receipt is less than ideal. read more

I can't remember the last time I went to this Starbucks and they got my order right. I don't order complicated things either. They will repeat my order back to me and then give me the wrong drink. I don't understand, every single time. read more

Went to this location 2 days ago and what a disappointment! The drinks were watered down and the young girl didn't really know what she was doing. I hope the experienced staff are back soon. read more

I found another one - did you have any doubt? This one was a specific craving I required after visiting Evergreen Lake with the BF. Surprisingly or maybe not so surprisingly there is no real close Starbucks to Evergreen. No worries, the BF knew of one and took me there for an Iced Tea fix and a bathroom break. Bathrooms are individual and clean and always convenient for the quick pop in. Barista's seemed very slow for the very few customers in line. Not overly impressed. There is a small patio to the side that backs to the exit of the drive thru. Drive thru is convenient and something I always appreciate especially when in a rush or trying to get somewhere timely. It's a bit hidden but worth a stop if you're having a craving like me. read more

They made the best Chai I've had in a long time. You'd think Starbucks as a brand would be able to nail special orders 100% of the time- but they don't. This one does. Fast service, easiest to get in and out of if your are heading Northbound on 285. read more

It's a stabucks, it's in a king soopers. That said, the staff was genuenlly very friendly and kind! I just needed a small pick me up to get me through an event that night, so I only got a tall of my normal drink! Bonus points - the starbucks card reader worked! All in all, a nice place to stop for a quick beverage with or without a hit to king soopers! read more

This is a very big deal. This place met every expectation I have ever had about ANYTHING, and then exceeded them. I came in here a humble frog and left a princess. Was treated better than I could ever imagine; better than how my mother, father, boyfriend or dog treats me. I was NOTICED HERE. I am forever grateful for Conifer, CO for reminding me who I am in the eyes of our Lord, Jesus Christ. And, the coffee was good too! Can I get a hallelujah? read more

Very kind and helpful, always friendly and delicious coffee. WiFi is strong as well XD

What on earth is going on here? We were coming out of the mountains after a morning of smashing snow drifts and mud surfing and stopped in for a sit down coffee. Let's be honest - not all Starbucks are created equal. Sometimes the coffee has a slight burnt or stale taste and pastries made in other time zones and shipped in sometimes taste their age. But not here in 'don't-blink-or-you'll-miss-it' Conifer, Colorado. My coffee tastes great and my usual lemon loaf treat is fabulously fresh. While all other Starbucks have yesterday's pastries - this one apparently has tomorrow's. As an additional bonus a murmured conversation in the corner consists of a tutor teaching a high school student college entrance math while James Brown regales from the rafters, "Get Up Offa That Thing". This place has it all. Love it! Did I mention the jaw dropping mountain views out the windows? read more

Extremely dysfunctional; from the teen taking our order, not happy to be at work, to our wrong order. Teen talking so low we can't hear and co-worker screaming so loud I could hear my own voice while ordering. We stop by here on a regular basis on our way home from our mtn cabin. The service is getting worse and worse. Not to mention the pupachinos are crazy small - why bother? I pray a new Starbucks opens on 285 so we have other choices on our Sunday drive home. read more

It sucks when we are limited to one Starbucks who can do what they want in a small community. It is 630 and their stated hours are to be open until 7. No signs on the building. No holiday hours posted. 6 cars in the parking lot but we were told they are closed at the drive through. WTF? read more

Wonderful customer service, beautiful store. Stopped by on our way from Bailey to the airport to go back to California and had a great experience. Three times in a row they forgot the shot in my coffee at the drive through. Never had a problem inside...

Always prompt service inside and out. Drive thru traffic can be challenging since parking and the drive thru intermingle space. Outdoor tables are never cleaned, so take paper towels out with you. Great views from the outside tables. Restrooms are relatively clean, but paper towel trash can is overflowing 90% of the time. read more
