I'm saddened to leave this type of review, but unfortunately this is the third time in 2026 that I have had a horrible experience at this location. If you take a look at the reviews over the last three months, you will see others report something similar regarding the lengthy wait times and customer service. I've ordered in the mornings, and sometimes the drink is not ready or made incorrectly. The drive-through is typically backed up in the mornings and around lunchtime. I have not had bad experiences like this at any other location other than this one. Today I wasted my entire lunch break sitting in line to place an order only to have to pull out of the drive-through because it was taking so long. So I tried to pay for it on the mobile app and go inside so they do not make a duplicate drink, and I said "excuse me" to one of the male employees and his reply was "what". I asked him did you just say "what" to me and his response was "yes". He told me that he was busy making orders and that he could not help me and to go get in line after I told him why I came inside. Ultimately I spent over 40 minutes of my lunch break, waiting in line in the drive-through and then in the inside just to be spoken to poorly by the staff member and ultimately leaving with no drink. I'm very disappointed that my time has been wasted and this is the second time that I have left this location without the item that I have come for due to poor Customer Service or a long wait time. read more

Incredible slow drive through line. I've seen to so many Starbucks and I usually stop because I have my kiddos and need a pick me up but also want to keep it moving. It seems each car was at the window for 2-3 minutes before the next car pulled up. Don't recommend if you're in a hurry. read more

I dropped in to Starbucks for a late lunch so to speak. I finally loaded all of my giftcards into the app and I wanted to spend them. I don't frequent Starbucks that much so I'm always uncertain of what to order and how to order it. I was feeling like a Baller because I've racked up quite a few gift cards! The cashier was really nice and he helped me use the app to pay for my order. I didn't get his name, but he had a cute Afro cool tattoos, and he wore glasses. I'm so appreciative that he wasn't impatient with me. We listen and we don't judge- Did I need a grilled cheese a piece of lemon cake and a lavender Matcha maybe not but I ordered it anyway and everything was delicious. Wow! Not much to say here. The photos say enough. This store is trashy and very slow to prepare my mobile offer. 20 minutes before I received my order. This place is one of the trashiest Starbucks I've ever been to. I think it's great that Starbucks allows people to set up their mobile office and stay for hours. But-shouldn't the come a time where enough is enough? At what point do you allow people to stay taking up all the tables? Then the boxes. Terrible. They are slow, inconsistent, and careless. Every time I have been to this starbucks i've always waited for a least 25-30 minutes for 1 drink. The lines are always wrapped around the building and going in store isn't much better. They're terribly slow with their work and the drinks are melted by the time you get them because of how slow they are. Drink quality is always inconsistent as well, each time I get a drink from here it never tastes the same as the last. I don't normally write reviews but this store needs to get new management or something because it is a hot mess. They're so fast to give a dirty look or attitude when you don't tip but so slow and careless doing their work. I've had times where i've mobile ordered and it still isn't ready. Customer service is at a BARE minimum. The baristas are so slow and cannot make drinks at a good pace at all. Really using that "work your wage" attitude. They prioritize drive through which leaves customers that come in to wait a minimum of 10-15 minutes. As someone who works in customer service and has been a coffee barista as well this is just unacceptable. Also, they don't do drinks in order from which the customer arrives. So no only do we have to wait but see people who came after us getting their drink making us think they lost ours that we've been waiting 10+ minutes to get. The staff also stop and have conversation about bras mid rush which is just bizarre to me. Super unprofessional, except for one girl that works in there all the rest don't give a shit about time or even bother going out of their way to make you feel like your drink is coming. If you want your drink made faster - definitely go through the drive-through. Or don't stop at this Starbucks at all. They like to keep it filthy on the inside anyways to try to keep people from coming in. (just my assumption.) and I'm sure they wonder why they never get tips. ‍ honestly in my opinion I think it's mostly management's fault, doesn't seem like they have a manager there ever making sure that they're doing their job right and efficiently. Don't accept doordash orders or do doordash if your employees can't accommodate them. It is ridiculous for a doordasher to stand for over 30 minutes waiting on a drink that was supposed to be made already. Either hire people just for doordash orders or remove yourself from the system. read more

Writing my review while I wait for my coffee... This is your typical Starbucks place. My first stop was the restroom. The women's restroom needs a remodel. The first stall has door gap large enough to see everything. Just FYI. I waited at the counter for a few minutes before a Barista walked up to take my order. I was then warned it would be a 15 mins wait for my drink. One Barista behind the bar had 7 drink tickets to prepare. There 3 stations for making espresso drinks. Starbucks really needs to work on this place to either hire more or address the inefficiencies of this specific location. I've gone to many busy Reserves and frequented the Reserves location in Lake forest. This location needs some love corporate. It's a good thing I'm not in a hurry right now but I definitely would not stop by this Starbucks if you are rushing to work. You can expect to be late to work. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER. If I could give zero stars, I would. I am not one to write a bad review ever, but this is getting out of hand. I should not have to mobile order my drink 45 minutes before I arrive at the store for it to have just be sat down on the counter. They have made me late to work and school several times. The employees were laughing and talking and looking at their phones while going as slow as possible at making my drink right in front of my eyes. It's ridiculous. Let's talk about the mess that this Starbucks is! It's in such a popular location but it's clear they cannot handle the amount of people that come through daily. I have gone to this location a handful of times. Sometimes I preorder but when I do it takes 30 mins to get it so I stopped and ventured to the drive thru shenanigans. First time I was hit in the drive thru by someone clearly on drugs. Second time, it was a traffic jam because people were coming from all entrances and exits...everyone was upset Third and final time...I spent 30 mins in the drive thru and saw a dead raccoon in front of the drive thru speaker where blood was splattered everywhere...I then thought about how dirty the place must be inside having a dead raccoon so close to their building...I pull up to the window look inside and see utter chaos!!! This place seems chaotic and unorganized sometimes. There was a line, which is no big deal. But people started leaving after waiting in the line for a long period of time. We had nowhere to be, so we continued to wait and then once we got to the speaker at the drive-thru, nobody said anything for probably about 5 minutes to us. We tried ordering our drinks and food, and they said they were out of our egg bites which we love, meaning they were probably still frozen or something. That was disappointing. But it's okay. They were continuously talking to other staff members in the background while we were trying to order, which was confusing and unprofessional. We pulled up to the window and they left out one of our drinks from the order, so we ended up waiting for another several minutes at the window for the rest of our order. This visit was pretty disappointing for us, but maybe it was just an off night. We've had decent experiences here in the past, so I'll give it 3/5 stars for that reason, because stuff happens of course. And the whole business shouldn't be frowned upon because of one employee interaction. Our drinks tasted good and that's the main objective of us going there, but customer service could be heavily improved in my opinion. Simple things like greeting a car when they pull up to the speaker, even if you just need to ask them to hold on for a moment would go a long way. And obviously listening closely to customer orders is important, that's a given. And side bar convos with other employees while customers are ordering is just plain unprofessional and confusing. These are areas that could use some help, but overall, like I said drinks were good and egg bites are great when they have them. read more

Service was absolutely horrible, the person who took my order was very rude. I ordered a Frappuccino and 4 cake pops and to get the cake pops it took almost 30 minutes. The cake pops were hard and tasted like they were sitting out for a while. People that ordered way more food than me after I ordered got their food before me. I think that is ridiculous. It should not take almost 30 minutes just for 4 cake pops that are already made. The store is also very unclean and there is trash all over the floor and the workers were touching their face and hair before making the food and not washing their hands. No one was wearing a hair net and the workers that were on shift there had a lot of hair. I will never go back here ever again. read more

The DM should be fired for the state of this store as well as all of the less than satisfactory ratings of the surrounding stores. This has been the story for going on 3 weeks at this location. I can't imagine the amount of revenue being lost on a daily basis between the lack of product and the trashy/dirty appearance of the entire facility. A store like this that is located next to a shopping mall, during the holidays should be stocked with everything needed to be successful during this time. I keep ordering the strawberry açaí lemonade and I keep getting it with different flavors. It is not hard to make it but so easy to mess it up.
