Exchanging 400 Stars for $20 worth of merchandise in Colorado Springs, Colorado... I had enough Stars to get a nice souvenir from Colorado, so my sister drove me to this location of Starbucks. Free, plentiful parking, convenient restroom, available drive-through, and friendly service were bonuses! Gosh... the merchandise section had a lot of variety! After discussing all options, we agreed that the metal container was the best choice. The plastic tumbler with straw wasn't that attractive... and I didn't want another mug that I would have to handcarry on the plane... This was a great experience! I was offered a paper bag with handles... no charge! This bag is taller than the usual ones we get! Yay! It will protect my new cup! Note: I only had to pay the difference, which was $3.10! The container is $22.95. Tax is 5.13% here... 15 cents! read more

The service was horrible. The cashier was extremely rude and gave me attitude when I was trying to order. Additionally, I chose to dine in to get a free refill on my tea and specifically asked a barista if I would be able to get a free refill on my citrus tea to which she said yes. When I tried to get a refill later, the same cashier told me that I would not be able to get a refill because it is considered a "latte" and only teas and coffees meet the requirement for a refill. I am not sure how a citrus tea does not meet this requirement but I also did not appreciate how rude my entire experience was with her. This is why I usually stick to drive through. read more

Unreliable hours for the past 2 years. drinks never have enough ice probably because they poor the shots directly into the cup rather then the espresso glasses. How can you tell your pulling good espresso if you can't see it in the shot glass... my espresso's have tasted like water also. read more

Got my order this morning to feel better because things haven't been going great lately and two days in a row the workers were just not very kind. At least yesterday they made my order well but today the whole cup isn't even full and i paid $1.25 for cold foam on top and they couldn't even bother to fill it to the top of the cup. Not only that, but i asked for light ice due to me not liking very watered down coffee and there is way more ice than actual coffee. This ended up being $5.05 which doesn't seem crazy expensive but for a grande simple order that isn't even made well and isn't even full that's just really disappointing. I should have said something when I received my order but i wasn't in the mood to fight it in that moment. This picture is before i drank anything. Thinking the other person received the same and took a bit we pull around to find the other car at the drive thru. Now we have to set and wait for there three drinks and when we pull up we are informed that they are closed in deed closed so we waited ten minutes because we disnt want to damage car trying to navigate out of there wanky druve thru. WELCOME TO THE SMALLEST PARKING LOT IN THE WORLD! I don't know whether the city planners are this dumb or if it was Sbux, but the parking lot is SO obviously too small, it's laughable. I watched it get built and was excited as it's minutes from home. Then we watched them build a Starbucks about the size of my living room. Then we watched them pave the worlds smallest parking lot. As Jeff Foxworthy used to say, "YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID." It's by the Air Force Academy, nearby neighborhoods with thousands of homes. It's the only Starbucks in the area. It's just off Northgate which is a major east-west corridor. It's near the freeway exit. SO here's a glimpse into the board room where the geniuses make decisions. "Hey guys! Let's build the smallest Starbucks on the planet with the smallest parking lot ever! Great idea!!! Then, let's design a tortured drive-through that bleeds into the parking lot on both sides and create a traffic jam. Yes, guys! This is a great idea because we know that the best way to increase revenue is to endlessly frustrate our customers with long waits, traffic jams, and making people park on the street because there's no room in the worlds smallest parking lot! Great staff, well run and a treat to stop on our way back to Denver or on down to the Springs. Love the view of the Rampart Range and US Air Force Academy. I've been to this location multiple times and they always mess up the order. Not just that they make the drinks wrong, today was the last straw, once again after waiting TEN MINUTES at the window the guy hands me the drink I was waiting on, it was supposed to be a venti iced shaken chocolate almond milk espresso- clue number one it's wrong it was a tall- I said hey this drink is supposed to be a venti and this looks like it has caramel syrup in it, it's supposed to be just chocolate malt powder almond milk espresso and ice- we sit for another 5 minutes as I watch the girl in the back dump the tall drink into a venti cup add extra ice and hand it back I was like wait a minute a tall has one shot, a venti has 4, the drink is wrong already why wouldn't you remake it properly? She says "I don't know, just take it" I literally handed it back and said just throw it away this is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to tell you how to make the drinks, after being told exactly how to make the drink dumping the incorrect drink into a larger cup is crazy. The rude attitudes is a whole other issue.. You know...The drive-thru even with 12 cars deep is faster and more competent than going inside. The employees argue in front of customers, they belittle each other IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS, and they get the orders wrong more than half the time. I've experienced this on numerous occasions, hoping it would get better. It doesnt. The drive-thru though is really the only thing saving this location, I've never had a problem going through the drive thru. No irate customers leave, you cant hear the arguing or belittling and the orders are always correct. I know it's a new location, but hopefully they get their shiz together soon. read more

Very friendly staff. Very! I usually stay away from Starbuck's because of their radically liberal politics but this location is the exception. I will definitely wear my MAGA hat in there, lol. They are all over you with extreme customer service. That's the way a business should be run. Politics has ruined how we interact with one another. Maybe the staff will get in trouble if management reads this review. But they shouldn't. They are doing a great job and do not discriminate against anyone. Thanks for being nice to everyone despite how you are ordered to treat people. (Small parking lot? Wifi on wrong side of the building? It 's not by the way. But Wow! These guys put the router on the wrong side of the building so Wi-Fi is not even available on the patio. When I ask him about it they said yes they been working on this for a long time but this location has been open for less than one year. It's not the people it's not the service it's the engineers that build this building and a reluctance to fix the issue regardless of multiple complaints. This is my go to Starbucks by the Academy. It's standard compared to all other chains and has a really nice, experienced barista staff. The loudness is slightly above average since the seats are very close to the kitchen. It's very bright here so as long as you can zone out, it's a good study spot. There aren't many tables to work at though so best of luck finding a spot. Besides that, everything's great. Blessings! read more

Sign says closed for the weekend 20 - 21 March to re-open on Monday, 22 March, but still not open on 24 March. They've often closed early and opened late with no notice (and sometimes while you are waiting in the drive through for service 1/2 hour before scheduled to close) but not for this length of time. Purchased 2 Hot Chocolates before Christmas. Both were chunky, and tasted like water. Talked to the store manager, and she indicated that I should stir the drinks before tasting them. Since I am not a consistent customer, i did not know. I asked her how I would know, and how I should have stirred the drink while in my car. She said she did not know.
