This Starbucks on West 6th is my neighborhood go-to. Easy, fast, and convenient -- exactly what you want from a daily Starbucks run. The team here keeps things moving, orders are consistently right, and it's perfect for a quick grab-and-go. Since I'm not originally a city person, this location has also been part of my unofficial "urban skills training" . I've learned how to quickly double-park with the four-ways on to run in and grab my mobile order, and on nicer days I'll hop on a scooter and head up the hill instead. Only issue with this Starbucks is there is no seating. It's more of a grab and go and that's why I took away a star. I like community and it makes it a little bit more challenging on W. 6th to develop "community." This Starbucks fills West 6th street caffeine void. It's nestled in the historic Marschalk building (lower level) that features gorgeous ornate details. I frequent a beauty salon in the area, stop in for coffee or treats at this Starbucks. Coffee: I usually order venti iced coffee or cold brew, sometimes venti hot coffee. I recently discovered that they only offer blonde roast until about 10 AM. It could be all-Starbucks thing, I just never knew this. Sometimes I order snacks - cookies, egg bites, or wraps. Orders are consistent and taste just like you'd expect. Service: Service is pleasant. Everyone at this shop is very friendly. Orders are available very quickly. It's a perfect destination if you're in a rush. Ambiance: This cafe recently transformed into grab-and-go location. There are no seating options inside or outside the cafe. Cafe walls are adorned with coffee farm art. There is pleasant mood lighting and plenty of natural light. Look out of the window for a nice view of the Key Tower! There is always plenty of merch and very unique mugs. This location also has Starbucks cup keychains! This location does not have a drive thru. Hours: This cafe appears to operate during normal business hours, and closes early. Check their hours before you visit. Parking: Parking around West 6th can be complex. There is street parking (paid during the week, free on weekends). There are also multiple parking lots in the area with varying hours and fees. Watch for signage about valet parking and special events! There is no dedicated parking lot at this location. I would recommend this location for anyone interested in a fast cup of coffee on the go. It's a convenient stop if you're downtown for business or leisure. Also, this is a suitable location for anyone looking to get a new interesting mug, cup, or Ohio State merch. read more

This Starbucks is in a good location. It is rather large, but it's all kitchen. Apparently the staff was being harassed too much. That's unfortunate because I used to like coming in here, sitting down, and getting some work done for an hour or so. Oh well now you can order ahead of time come in and pick it up. And as i drinking my drink, I felt a hair in my drink. It was blonde. And as a brunette, i do not have blonde hair. Wow. I've been to a lot of these Starbucks cafes nationwide. I have to say this is the most unwelcoming cafe I have ever patronized. The walk in area is all of 6 feet by 18' wide as they have cutoff the entire cafe area. The staff here are secure in there distance from paying customers and quite aloof. Definitely a union Starbucks cafe. They don't appear to like Browns fans either. Very cold response to my welcoming "How are you?" To top it off, my dark roast was warm. 10:11 AM on a Sunday. The staff you were very friendly and capable of working very hard. I only took one star off, since there's nowhere to sit and enjoy your coffee indoors. Definitely not the staffs fault, but I feel that a reader should know this before venturing to this location. Paragraph as an aside, during my order today, there was a little mixup, and the manager absolutely gave me no problems, while changing it to what we had originally wanted to order. Visited this Starbucks location because I had a gift card and we wanted something. To drink and eat at 8'am in downtown Cleveland and they were open. Service was just ok. Nothing special nothing terrible. I got a small peppermint mocha and my buddy got a large coffee with a splash of peppermint. Cost $10.30. Way to expensive for just ok coffee. I don't normally review big chains, but this Starbucks was a pleasant surprise. I don't know if this is common or unique to this Starbucks, but they have a mirrored wall of post-it notes where they encourage people to leave loving statements. I was having a tough day and the wall caught me off guard. I was surprised at how inclusive and kind these were. There was a stack of post-its to leave your own. It really uplifted my day. I had a meeting here and it went just as expected. Solid wi-fi, reliable chai latte and enough seating for a downtown city Starbucks. The staff are very friendly and I also appreciate how kind they are to everyone, even when they are difficult. The value of being kind to all is very important to me. Also, I got to witness a live puppacino facilitated by an enthusiastic staff member, and that's basically one of the top 5 things that's ever happened to me in real life. read more

I love coming to this Starbucks downtown either during my lunch break or after work. I don't drink coffee so I come either to get a cup of tea and I get a pound cake too. I have gotten lunch here twice - once I had a Turkey (or Chicken) pesto snadwich that was heated up and another time, I used my Starbucks birthday reward to get a chicken salad. I love this location because it is clean, the staff is friendly, and there is never a long line. There is ample seating inside and outside as well. read more

After a late lunch at West 3rd Deli, I stopped in here for a brain re-boot - meaning more caffeine! Ordered a Grande cold brew with room for cream. Drink was strong and delicious and hit the spot! Got the ole neurons re-firing! There is a decent amount of seating here to work and/or hang out inside, and a number of tables outside as well. read more

Resident Starbucks Guru is back at it again folks...this time all the way in downtown Cleveland. I like to shake things up. I am cool like that! Although, parking downtown is never fun and the city charges a boatload to park. Even the meters only give you 10 min per quarter. I was afraid to sneeze or fart....because the city might charge me for that too! This Starbucks has a really cool feel to it. It is in one of the older buildings in downtown and I love the charm that brings. The new Starbucks construction is always modern and cool, but the ones put in old buildings have a special charm that you cannot get with new construction. My iced coffee was as yummy as always. Nothing to complain about in the product quality department! The staff here was friendly. I always appreciate a warm smile and human engagement. However, they were a tad bit on the slow side. This is the cutest little neighborhood spot. Yes it's still all the perfectly amazing little Starbucks magical coffee beans, but this spot is super friendly and homey although being straight downtown. Walkable from the Ritz & Renaissance downtown (and Jack's Casino of course)... definitely a stop after those long casino evenings! read more

I don't typically review chain locations, but when my friend and I get condescendingly asked by one of the women there if we are ordering anything upon entering, with a tone of her believing that we are not, I can't help it. Are you serious? Why else would we be walking in if we didn't plan on ordering something? Because it's "exotic" to a pair of Chicagoans surrounded by a bunch of them in their neighborhood and we just wanted to "hangout" and be cheap without ordering anything? Truly ridiculous and not something any human being should have to deal with in the 21st century. Treating other human beings with humanity is not difficult. With that said, what saves this place from getting a 1-Star is the wonderful young barista (guy) with longish bangs and a green dye. He was amazing, welcoming and had a great conversation going. 7:45AM when I arrived. Barista folk are hustling behind the line with mobile and in store orders. I saw 2 of the women stop and be incredibly helpful to people who forgot to ask for xyz in their drink. They had plenty to say to their - what I assume is the regulars. They had police come by for some earlier incident and were respectful but also multitasking. If I worked downtown this would be my spot. read more

And for their regulars, on a cold morning, they often had their drinks ready for them before they got in the door. While there's not much seating, the seating that is there is clean and inviting. The employees at this location are always super nice and friendly! They gave my dog her first cup of whipped cream and made her so happy! The inside of the store was recently updated and is 10x better than before, although it is a smaller sized store. There is a small sidewalk patio area with around 4 tables, which is popular in the summer. This is an older Starbucks location. Service is quick and efficient, the store is generally clean and the drinks are well-made. They have a larger table that is nice for studying, but it is often occupied. They also have two comfortable lounge chairs near the door that are popular with the paper-reading crowd. They are not quite as good about keeping the non-fat milk in stock out on the floor, but if you ask the barista they will happily oblige. read more

The drinks at this Starbucks are always good, but the staff can be really hit or miss! Sometimes they're incredibly friendly, and other times they wear a look of annoyance. I love the big bright windows and outdoor seating, and the baristas are always cordial, though I've never had one that is especially friendly. There is a lot of space to spread out and work, and all of the normal Starbucks drinks and treats. I work a few blocks away from this location and some days I really don't feel like going to work (who doesn't?) but he always has a sincere and thoughtful compliment readily available and shows how a kind word to a stranger can lift someone's mood. This place is a normal Starbucks. For that reason, I would have given them a three or four stars, b/c Starbucks is Starbucks. However, this one gets two -- because of the people. When entering the building, I smiled at the person that was stacking chairs outside. She scowled back and said, "You only have five minutes before we close."
