Crazy friendly service here! I came in a couple of days before Christmas and the vibe was jolly on steroids, the team of 8 or so women working the counter had the place running like a well-oiled machine and we're all smiles. Service here is terrible. My husband and I walk in and there are 5 people behind the counter and one guy says we will be right with you and we stand there while they are talking and joking. This store is not in the greatest location. First of all, if you did what I did and took the exit from 380 after seeing the Starbucks sign, it's about 1.5 miles off the exit through various traffic lights. Second of all, the actual location is ideal for a car accident waiting to happen. The parking lot affords you no opportunity to spare yourself from traffic making a right blind turn, so driver beware. My barista was fast and friendly and the food options involved the usual suspects, but the real tragedy here was with the bottled water. I'm always one to look for that coldest bottle of Ethos. Hint: they're usually towards the back of the fridge, not only because that tends to be the coldest part of the fridge, but also because that's where the bottles get the least exposure to room temperature. So, as usual, I grabbed the coldest looking and feeling bottle only to discover the cap twisted off without that seal-breaking sound. Figuring this was just a fluke, I put it back and grabbed another one only to discover the same thing. Third time was a charm but for a minute there I was prepared to accuse this store of refilling used water bottles. read more

I stop here periodically as I travel through the area and they are friendly and the orders are done correctly. Tonight, the woman at the counter went out of her way while my order was being processed to initiate polite conversation. The staff is super nice! The biggest issue I have with this starbucks is that they have 1 outlet in the whole space, which makes it inaccessible for anyone not seated right next to it. This Starbucks is also the only place in Clarks summit that has WiFi and open late (other than Duffy's) so if you're trying to go somewhere to work for an afternoon, don't count on being able to plug in. Basically- Duffy's has outlets but spotty WiFi, sbux has good WiFi but no outlets read more

I love being treated like a regular at this starbucks. The workers always nicely place my drinks in the tray before I even get there. They include a pup cup for my dog. They wrote "happy birthday" on my cup super nicely when I bought my drink. Any time there's an incident on the app where my drink doesn't go through, they just remake it for me no problem. Stopped in for two coffees and a gift card purchase. Noticed right away the dirty floors, doors, and tables. The smell of sour milk kinda turned my stomach. The girl carried on about chatting with the customer lady in front of me. They had to gossip awhile before anyone could acknowledge there were other customers. Finally a tall young man asked if he could get me a drink to go along with my k cups I was holding in my hand to purchase. That was the extent of the service. The coffee is good. The parking is horrible. No one seemed friendly. I could tell it wasn't my favorite Dunkin donuts location of Dickson City!! I live very near to this location but I may only come back in the spring or summer so I could just sit outdoors. I'm just not a fan :( sorry Starbucks, but this location is not a good choice for me......clean it up! read more

This is probably one of the worst layouts of any Starbucks that I've ever been in. This is obviously a high traffic location. There was one bathroom that was being used at every second and even that had a line. The parking lot was very difficult to get in or get out. We actually got stuck at the end and almost got boxed in by another car since there was only one exit. After getting off the highway to take a quick break and get some water, we walked in here, waited in line, just to find out that they didn't have any regular water. I understand being out of things but we just didn't have a good experience here. I can't really fault the employees for the layout of the place they were actually very friendly but coming here isn't worth the hassle on a busy day. We ordered a cold brew coffee and it took about 10 minutes no exaggeration. It was interesting, while everyone was waiting for their drinks and orders were being filled, the supervisor was telling someone to take their break. There were about 15 orders at a time being filled so I'm not sure what's going on. While we were waiting for our drink, the girl behind the counter came out from to wipe off a table. All of these Starbucks keep giving me more reason to just go to Dunkin. Bad training, over roasted coffee and a long wait. read more

The staff is absolutely great, but the pricing is out if control. The latest for a tall coffee is 2.60! Yesterday it was 2.30. This is not New York City. they say it's to raise salaries for employees. No doubt they deserve it. But I wonder how much of a hit stockholders and CEO types are taking to pay for it? Probably Zero! Everyone here was super friendly. This goes for the people working here and the patrons in general. I really enjoyed coming through here and on top of that, my green tea frap was awesome. The outside of the business needs some TLC to make it more attractive from the street. Weeds need to be eliminated; general clean-up of area; removing debris, painting, etc. The green umbrellas outside on the patio should be a focal point and invite people to stop. Maybe some planters to block the noise from the street would be good. Always take pride in your business, both inside and out. It will make a difference. read more

I am a Starbucks devotee. I purposefully selected this restaurant because I expected a certain quality. I was disappointed. The store looked like the more after a party at a frat house. And don't get me started on the bathroom. Don't blame the employees. There were only two people on and the place very busy. I asked one of the employees if it is always this busy at 6pm and she said that it has been because of vacationers. Hey, store manager, give your customers and employees a break. I love Starbucks and would never imagine giving a store a two star review. Unfortunately I have to agree with most of the criticisms posted which should be considered unique to this particular site. If the Summit area was not a prime demographic for this franchise I doubt it would have survived. It's hard to access, has extremely congested, minimal available parking. I've no issue with the stores cleanliness. For the amount of traffic I encounter every time I stop in it seems to always be understaffed. The situation is exacerbated by too much attention paid to call ahead orders; patrons patiently waiting for their orders to be prepared while the one or two baristas working are prepping orders for people who aren't even there is not acceptable. I know it's a necessary convenience to offer in this day and age but you need to have adequate staffing so that your on-site customers don't feel as if they're second class citizens just because they didn't order on-line. And being told " let me see if we actually have that" whenever I want more than a drink gets old real fast. read more

Came here to grab breakfast. The staff was friendly but the cashier seemed like he may have been new. The restrooms and store was really clean but it was quite early in the morning. Quick service and yummy breakfast sandwiches. They also have the Starbucks yummy drinks (not a coffee drinker but love the hot chocolate, chai, apple spice, steamers....). They have enough staff so the line moves pretty fast. Downside to this location is that sometimes large buses stop off of I-81 and swamp the place and clear them out of some sandwich varieties/baked goods. However, being a traveler myself, I still stop here because it's right off the highway and very reliable. My favorite stop on I-81, particularly southbound. =) read more

its a starbucks what can I say? the drinks are the same at all the different starbucks, made to order, etc. What makes this place an enjoyable place to go to are the baristas -- we just stopped by on the way home from a trip from upstate ny back to MD, and had a relatively pleasant time at this bucks. Wasn't too big of a fan of my experience here. I got a hot chocolate and it wasn't super hot to begin with which I don't mind, but the taste was unlike any other Starbucks hot chocolate I've had. I can't say they're bad, but based on my one experience on my road trip I didn't like it.
