THe music in this location is so loud. People usually who stay to have their coffee are reading or working on something. It is really hard to concentrate when the music or show tunes they play is so loud you cannot think straight. Maybe they are doing this to keep people out of this Starbucks.... read more

I'm all about locally owned coffee shops but the Mariemont Starbucks is hard to hate. First off, there aren't many other options in the area. I didn't get a chance to come here before they renovated, but I actually found the inside to be cozy despite what other Yelpers have said. There are some really comfortable plush green chairs, a large table, outdoor seating, a huge open parking lot, two gender-neutral bathrooms: you get the picture. I know it's Mariemont and we all expect hyperclassy, uber-quaint establishments O-N-L-Y but, c'mon, it's an easy 3 stars. If it weren't for the always-burnt, overpriced coffee this we'd have a real winner here. read more

The outdoor seating at this location is by far the best perk!! The interior had a lot of boxes and inventory being unpacked when I went in this morning, but they did have social distance markings on the floor. There were only a handful of tables inside, pretty small. The service for ordering at the register and getting a drink was surprisingly quick on top of all the mobile orders coming in. Typically the customer service is better at this location although typically lacking a smile however my experience today was so disappointing. I was waited on by a young lady with short pink hair & she was was so unpleasant. When I expressed that I was confused at why she was so agitated with me it just made it worse. Its been awhile since I've wanted to get out of a place as fast as possible but the negative energy was just so draining. I'll never understand why people choose customer service when their customer service skills are lacking? Aside from the customer service my cold drink was as ordered & a step up from the burnt hot coffee I've received in the past so I'm giving them 2 stars but because of the service I likely won't visit this location again. read more

So dirty. Couldn't find a place to sit because every table was so dirty. Napkins, food crumbs everywhere and when I asked if I could clean a table one of the 4 working got very irritated. I was only one there. Take your coffee to go. read more

BEST STARBUCKS STAFF I'VE EVER MET. This morning I had one of those horrible mornings from H.E.Double Hockey Sticks. I was planning for the president of my company's large meeting and getting breakfast and coffee for 20-30 people. I had everything in my car and my last stop was this Starbucks to get the large jugs of coffee. The baristas were great from early around 6:10am when I called to tell them I would be coming to get the jugs. When I got there, one offered to help me carry them to my car. We got to my car to discover I locked my keys, phone, wallet, EVERYTHING in my car!!! I was stranded there for over an hour and the 3 employees were the nicest people ever to me. They ALL offered their cellphones, they offered me free drinks, they let me hang out there forever and were seriously concerned for me and my situation. I had one of their cell phones almost the whole time to call my boss, and to look up other numbers. I will be forever grateful. THANK YOU! read more

I'm so glad this is my neighborhood Starbucks! Staff: pretty much always happy and helpful despite the stress of the restaurant. Atmosphere: cozy inside with a decent amount of outlet and tables, I like their coffee bar too. Weather permitting, they have a slew of vintage outdoor tables and couches! YAY! Everything is always clean and well stocked. Drinks: this is the most consistent Starbucks in Cincinnati. They are pros at remembering regulars orders and they are even better at reproducing a perfect drink time and time again. read more

Hands down my favorite local coffee shop. My dog and I walk here frequently to get a drink for me and a "puppachino" (whipped cream in a cup) for him, both with your names written on them. The staff is very friendly, happy to make substitutions/alterations, and service is fast. They have a nice place for me to tie up my dog and a window on the door that is low enough that he can watch me. Atmosphere is cozy - oversized leather chairs, warm lighting, and simple decor. Layout is a little awkward but they've done a good job maximizing the space. Highly recommend! We'll keep frequenting it! read more

Thumbs down to the recent renovation. First, they put up a sign saying it would be closed Mar. 20-29. It took nearly two more weeks to finish it. Second, it now looks totally generic, like any other 'Bucks. It used to be downright cosy: but now gone are the photos of Mariemont, the soft lighting, the wooden tables and comfy leather chairs. It looked like it belonged in Mmont. Now there is hospital-type lighting, so bright I felt like I was about to be interrogated. Sterile contemporary tables, generic art (of a Starbucks, no less!!), wasted space, and truly ugly green velveteen wing chairs! (Boy will they be a mess once coffee starts getting spilled.). We couldn't wait to get out of there, a place we used to like to linger. In short, what were they thinking!?? Epic fail. Thanks, Corporate, for ruining a beloved local hang out. Thank goodness the staff is so nice. read more

Absolutely terrible. Ordered a sandwich asked if they had it because I know that run out of this particular one A LOT. She doesn't even check to look, and charges me for my cold brew and the sandwich. She then comes down and tell me that they are out moments later and I ask for my money back and she just gives me a 4 dollar "I messed up card". I would much rather have my money back because I don't want to come back with the gift card because it was bad service. On top of that, the cold brew tasted terrible. The barista was switching a new cold brew over and didn't run the coffee through the new tap long enough, so it tasted terrible. Never coming back to this Starbucks. read more

As an admitted Starbucks/coffee shop addict (admission is the first step, right?), I've been to a lot of different Starbucks. This is by far the best, and that's high praise coming from me. I've been going to this Starbucks for liiiike 10 years? (I'm not old yet. I refuse to admit that.) The staff is always great, even when it unavoidably changes. The baristas learn your name (& drink) and remember it! The drinks are super consistent, which I appreciate. I hate going to another one and getting a different drink depending on who makes it. The staff is super friendly and they're always ready with recommendations and fun small talk. The way it's set up is a bit weird since the one door is now blocked, but the double doors in the front were always sort of awkward anyway. Now there's more seating, which is helpful. The two leather chairs they have in there are surprisingly comfortable. If they ever get rid of them, I will want to buy (get them for free) them. Seriously. There are plenty of outlets and spots to sit. It's an awesome neighborhood gathering place and if you're a regular, you notice how many tutors and whatnot meet there, which is great! So overall, awesome place and awesome staff. I know it's a Starbucks and boo-big corporate stuff, but when you go to this location, it feels more like a neighborhood coffee shop than a big business type place. :) read more

I was in Starbucks this morning and saw some of the reviews on Yelp and thought I should add my opinion! This is by far my favorite Starbucks location. I'm an avid coffee drinker and have been to most S'bux locations in Cincinnati. The staff here is always so nice, cheery and friendly and make you feel special/important when ordering your drink. They recently renovated into the more modern Starbucks feel, providing more space for indoor seating and better flow. The best part (in my opinion) is the outdoor seating in the middle of Mariemont square and the fact it's within walking distance from my home. I'm here at least once a week getting my ground coffee and pick this spot for business meetings on the regular. Five stars for the baristas, environment and coffee! read more

Somehow, this location knows how to make my favorite Frapp Double Choco Chip. It's always perfect. The baristas are friendly, always greet you with a smile and just warm people. Love to walk in the village and cool down with a perfect frapp!!! read more

Love Mariemont 'bucks. I'm in there a lot and just love the staff. They even know my "grind number". You can park in the back section larger lot, or the front has a few pull in spaces. It's hard to see though, so I usually tell people to look for the covered shops or dilly cafe and it's in there. read more

Okay, I am a pro-indie coffee house fan down to my core, but I can walk to this location of Starbucks whenever I'm in the mood for a hot beverage. It's a nice place to have a cup and read, if the local tweens/teens aren't hanging out there. I do miss some of the staff regulars, but over all it is a nice friendly bunch. Avoid this place weekdays during the peak morning rush hours if time is any bit of a concern. It gets packed with commuters and parents who are dropping the kids off at school. read more
