Partly because i didnt have time to write a…read morereview but also partly because i was selfishly concerned that too many knowing of the existance of this bakery would hurt my chances of ever eating the best cheesecake of my life again. Alas, the time has come to share my discovery. Aspire bakery is a small bakery and bistro located inside CPCC's Harris Campus. It is currently closed due to it being summer but it is typically open mon-fri during the fall/spring semesters. Basically, it is the culinary department students making delicious soups, sandwiches and baked goods for all to enjoy at a great price. Cookies, cakes, cheesecakes, tarts, scones, biscuits, macaroons the list goes on and on...all were available here over the course of the last year. Now there is no telling exactly what will be in the bakery case at any visit, but i can guarantee whats there will be delicious. In addition to the baked goods they also have a few sandwiches, salads, wraps and pannini's to choose from and always a soup of the day. I ate here almost every week for the duration of their last run and i never once had the same soup. This very quickly became one of my favorite places to eat and that was completely solidified when i had a slice of their blueberry cheesecake. It was light and airy but rich at the same time. So good. Best i have ever had. Ever. Now just to make this even more awesome im gonna talk about the prices of everything. Ive never found a bakery more reasonably priced. Sandwich, soup, cookie and a drink for around $8. The baked goods start at .50. Oh and theres no tax and the funds from everything they sell goes right back into the culinary program! It is a win-win on so many levels. It was a sad day when i realized they were closing for the summer but i know they will be open again before i know it. And when they do i highly recommend that everyone check this bakery out.

I really just wanted a Chai tea latte because it was the cheapest one in the airport but they were unfortunately out of it. My pet peeve is getting to the register and employees are having a conversation and don't break their convo to acknowledge they have a customer. They were talking about a previous customer and had a whole conversation before acknowledging I was there. When I asked for white chocolate mocha the cashier got an attitude because she apparently was tired of making drinks, and she had a line earlier and basically complaining she had to work. The drink was okay for what it was. Expensive it's in an airport and I needed a fix. I chose to get a bagel from elsewhere because the food on display didn't look to appetizering to me.

All they had displayed were premade sandwiches. I asked one of the staff members if they have any chocolate croissants. She went to the back to get the croissant for me. They have cold brew coffee. I don't recommend it. It was like drinking coffee infused water. The chocolate croissant was dry and tasteless. The service was average. It could have been a much better visit had all the bakery items been displayed. Honestly, I didn't know that they had other items in the back. I found out later that the online menu has Viennese specialties and desserts. I didn't see any of them. It just looked like a sandwich shop. I'm just guessing by the higher rated reviews that their sandwiches are delicious. Stick with the sandwiches, and maybe you'll have a better experience. There are better breakfast & coffee options between Concourse D & E.

When I had went to this location the Cinnabon was delicious and the price was your typical price for airport food. I will say though the cashier didn't seem very friendly.
