While picking up a delivery order, I experienced an aggressive confrontation that escalated to unwanted physical contact, leaving me feeling unsafe. As I was walking into the store to pick up a delivery order, another individual confronted me about my parking in an aggressive manner. The situation escalated, and I attempted to leave. While trying to exit, I was physically grabbed and pushed backward. After informing staff that I was being harassed and later physically grabbed, a staff member came outside, observed the situation, and did not offer assistance or attempt to intervene. The lack of response to a safety concern was extremely troubling. Due to safety concerns, I documented the vehicle involved and have included a photo for reference. Shortly afterward, the situation escalated and law enforcement was contacted. I had personally ordered a drink as a customer as well, and it was never provided before I felt it was safest to leave due to the situation. As a delivery driver, I expect a basic level of professionalism and safety when entering a business. Instead, I left feeling shaken and unsupported. Management should review their safety practices and how staff respond when drivers report harassment or physical contact. No customer or delivery driver should feel unsafe while simply trying to pick up an order. read more

Terrible staff. Walked in and no one greeted or acknowledged that I was there. Just talked amongst themselves. Waited another 3-5 min (mind you i am standing right in front of the cashier where they are) and nothing. Not even a simple "hold on we'll be right with you". Finally came in after living here for ten years. I had a gift card. The shop is large, yet cozy. Lots of tables for two, and the living room set-up was by the old style windows. The staff greeted us and answered our questions. I don't like a heavy roast. So I ordered a Blonde. Was very good. We had the chocolate croissant and a hot egg sandwich. Was trendy and very nice. A tale of two coffeehouses in opposite and scenic sides of a metro area East side Every once in a while, one finds a Starbucks which may deliver the same goods and services but occupies an unusual location. This is one such Starbucks. What makes it different is that it sits in a storefront along a manicured Main Street in a beautiful hamlet where the top end of Appalachia's topography touches the Great Lakes. But that's not all. The storefront is the "end unit," sitting at the side of the building on this block ... and that "end unit" sits up on a rocky bluff overlooking the fairly big drop that is Chagrin Falls, an enclave to the east of Cleveland where the suburbs thin out and larger homes on larger, hilly forested properties are the norm. People come here to play tourist and shopper, sometimes buying chocolate or cotton candy from nearby stores. And, if they don't go into Starbucks, they can look at Chagrin Falls from the sidewalk along Main Street, which is also adjacent to the falls and this Starbucks. In terms of service, this store falls a little short. The service is quick enough and accurate but it doesn't seem to come with the easy smile found at most other stores. However, in all fairness, this is a popular and unique spot ... and they are slammed. Also, being inside a building that is older and somewhat repurposed, complete with wooden flooring, one has to keep in mind that they had to shoehorn a Starbucks store into here. The seating at the side of the store isn't like it is in a newer store, so it's not as comfortable. Also, not every table has a view over the falls. Only some do. Getting a table with a view is not guaranteed and might require playing musical chairs. Had this been a Starbucks in an unremarkable Main Street USA location, it probably would have fetched 3 stars. However, keeping in mind that it is crowded because of the touristic nature of this small town and realizing that it's not as comfortable as newer stores so they could put you right next to and above Chagrin Falls, it's a tradeoff that easily takes this Starbucks to a strong 4 stars. read more

Service quality varies, but is never less than okay. It can be tough to get a table, as they are often filled with people who sit there all day using Starbucks as their "office." Another drawback is the fact that in the summer, leather clad bikers stand all day very close the entrance smoking, attempting to show the world just how tough and cool they are. Even though this Starbucks is constantly packed, it is a great neighborhood Starbucks. You forget it's a chain when you walk in and the employees know the familiar faces and have a conversation with you instead of just taking your order and moving on super fast. Some Starbucks don't make the drinks tastey or strong enough but everytime I come to this branch, they always make them perfectly. From flavor to temperature, they 99.9% hit it right on. I am not sure why this Starbucks hasn't blown up yet! It is sitting right next to a water fall! You can literally drink your coffee and stare out the window. Super cute town surrounds this Starbucks boasting old hardwood floors and 100 year old doors :) just an all around awesome place. This is the Starbucks I go to during the day when I need to get away from the office for a few minutes. I love that I can walk over and enjoy a few moments of peace next to the falls before diving back into my work. The barista's here are always very friendly as well as efficient. I almost always have my order within a few minutes and it's always done just right. Granted, it's not hard to mess up a black eye, but still. I really love how they have old vintage pictures of Chagrin Falls in the back by the bathrooms. I will admit I have sniped some pictures of these for my company's #tbt instagram posts. Pro Tip: Don't know what you want or are feeling adventurous? Ask the barista's for drink suggestions. Every now and then I'll do this and I've never been disappointed! read more

I try to always hit the local places....not always possible. Starbucks is easy to find and familiar. This Starbucks is located on Main Street in Chagrin Falls, OH. Super cute town. This Starbucks is long, not wide...so it can be tight if they are busy, but there is still ample seating. Music is a little loud, baristas are pleasant enough, drinks are coming out quick. Lots of people at tables working. Actually, all tables are occupied. Customers are not uber friendly...but it is Starbucks. You are supposed to walk in, look really busy and self concerned, grab your half caff/ iced/soy/hazelnut/latte and jet out to whatever super important thing you are supposed to look like you are doing. I had Teavana Venti Berry Sangria today. Venti cause I had a lot of work to do and I am on the road traveling. I needed a drink that would cover my long time of occupying a table. (Btw, I am a Teavana fanatic. I have a whole drawer of Teavana tea and paraphernalia at home....go to a Teavana store. You'll become addicted.) My drink was good. A tad to the weak side, but good. Once upon a time, there was a girl discovering coffee. And she happened to visit her grandparents often, who were located near this Starbucks. And she began to frequent it on all of her visits. She grew from Frapps to iced lattes to regular coffee. And thus began a downfall... This particular store, the one that started me on coffee, is located right next to the falls. It's usually crowded and can be hard to navigate- especially in the summer, when you can frequently find a large group of bikers hanging around. Regardless of how busy it gets, the service has never really been a problem. It has the same drip coffee issue that I have with all Starbucks, but they can't be faulted for that. The Starbucks in Chagrin Falls has such a perfect location in town (right next to the falls!) and has some incredible staff members, but it's such a small shop that it's not ideal for working or sitting down to chat. My husband picked up a Carmel light frappechino at about 1.30 pm today. I have to say it was the worst drink I have ever had. It was so watered down and he asked do extra Carmel and it was even written down on the cup. Let me tell you there was barely ANY Carmel at all. I don't know if it was a new person or someone was in a hurry to leave. It was absolutely terrible and with it being the venti size it is fairly costly. I honestly think I may give up on this Starbucks...too many misses. Today I ordered a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew and they definitely left out the vanilla syrup as it was super bitter. Unfortunately did not try it until I was back in the road to work. Often out of items...not sure who orders or who's fault that is. Ordered a Bagel with 1 butter and 2 Cream Cheese and got two butters, no Cream Cheese. When I asked at the counter, I got attitude. Agree with some other comments about lack of friendliness. This is a Starbucks that, while somewhat small, isn't constricting, and while busy, remains friendly and human. Your order, and money, is taken with a smile and good natured greeting, and after a few visits, they've remembered your name, and you're treated like a friend. Oh, and the coffee is good too.
