Stopped in on a busy Saturday morning with my sister. We didn't get food this time but the menu looked great! Service was friendly (the gentleman who helped us was Nathan) - we each got a chai, hers iced and dirty and mine hot. The drinks took a while to come out but they were fairly busy. Went into this place on a whim. I wanted a healthier brunch item like a smoothie and this place was right across the street from where I was at. I got the Strawberry Banana smoothie with coconut milk. I have a slight allergy to tree nuts so that almond milk had to go. I loved the sweetness of the honey and fresh fruits they put into it. Then the little bits of dates hit. I've forgotten what dates taste like, and that was a wonderful little surprise. We order salads from here periodically because the salads are good. However, the service is really bad. The level of confusion is mind boggling. Who knew it was so difficult to make a salad correctly. It's always a crapshoot to see what you have when you get home. Sometimes the dressing is wrong. Sometimes ingredients are missing. Today we paid extra to add chicken to a salad, so of course when we got home, no chicken. We called simply to ask for a refund of the extra amount paid for the chicken and after about 15 mins of confusion and condescension, they informed us that they couldn't refund our money today and we would have to call back tomorrow. There's a palpable positive change in the air at Muvel. This location, formerly called Cultivate, is under new ownership (and fun fact: Muvel is Hungarian for Cultivate). Under the new ownership, I've sensed some great changes. On previous visits, the food was a bit underwhelming, particularly in the ingredient ratio of lettuce/spinach to everything else. I've had a few bowls recently, and they were exactly the delicious, hearty and healthy meals I've craved. My favorite item is the cashew chicken bowl with free range chicken, romaine, farro, roasted apples, cashews, pita chips, organic white cheddar, & apple vinaigrette. It's such a huge portion and well worth the little extra price, considering how expensive it would be to assemble these items on your own! They also have an awesome selection of smoothies and a few bubble tea options. My favorite smoothie is the ginger berry with banana, strawberry, blueberry, ginger, acai, orange juice. It has such a refreshing, gingery flavor which I just love. They also serve breakfast all day (woohoo!) and have a huge coffee menu. I also love that they are adjacent to ReSet Lounge Spa and Chagrin Yoga. Kudos to the new owners. I have yet to try something here I don't like! read more

I hate salads. I despise them. I never eat them....unless....it's from Muvel. My very picky 15 year old loves their salads. Both teens adore the smoothies. The thing about Muvel is that everything is so customizable, if you aren't enjoying the food it's on you. It's food you feel good about eating which also tastes good and you're not left hungry after. Particular favorites include: the Thai Peanut Bowl, the Caesar Bowl, the Bee Berry Açaí smoothie and the Strawberry Banana smoothie. read more

My family has been getting take out from Muvel for up to several times a week for a long time. Today the manager was unbelievably presumptuous and rude to me in front of half a dozen other customers. It was for the most petty reason as well. Cookies. It was over cookies. I won't go into my entire purchase history of a dessert because it shouldn't matter. But in short, today she decided to scold me "I can't sell you all of them because I can't run out on the same day we get them." First of all, when was the last time I even did that??? And I don't order in advance anymore because I haven't wanted them as often. Second, I only wanted two today. If she had simply asked, she would have known that instead of prematurely making an issue out of nothing in front of other customers. Third, if something you're selling is gaining in popularity then start ordering more. Maybe stock more than six at a time. It's supply and demand and a manager should have that in her skill set. Her attitude was unnecessary and unprofessional. There was zero need to embarrass a regular customer who didn't even do anything wrong. My family will no longer patronize a business that has taken to rationing out what they're selling like a bunch of communists. Stopped in recently for dinner after seeing our CM review the place. I noticed it was near my work, and made for an easy takeout dinner. I ordered The Greek, and my wife had the Thai Peanut Bowl. Both of these were very good. I thought the salads were a little pricey, but not unreasonable; in the very least the salads were good sized as I was full off of mine, and my wife had some leftover. Given the proximity, the quickness of preparation, and a healthier option for a quick meal, this is likely somewhere I'll return. read more

I got it with eggs, chicken, spinach, avocado, black beans, onion, white cheddar and sriracha. (There are much healthier options) By letting you choose up to 5 custom ingredients without extra charge, they are able to expertly portion your add ins to make the ideal wrap. I mean the distribution of ingredients was unreal! Every bite I felt like I got every ingredient included throughout. Regular coffee was available in the pump canister like the Toyota dealership down the road. It was disappointing that they only have "to go" cups and plates/boxes. You don't feel loaded with meat, yet still cleanse your souls (or guts). They are very generous with cheese. Big chunks of cheddar cheese in both orders. Bigger than the hard boiled egg chunks. You'll see a connected door to the yoga store next door, but employees assured me the ownerships are not related. Given the close proximity, a good portion of the clientele are yogis. Just in town visiting from LA. Popped by after a drop in yoga class next door. Firstly, the menu is simple and beautifully curated. The fact that they even had bone broth on the menu got me excited. Secondly, the prices. I'm not sure if I've just been paying too much for food in the city, but I was shocked when I saw that the avocado toast was only $4 (what?!) and a flat white is only $2.75. I ordered two buffalo chicken wraps and two peach teas and received what seemed like the contents of a chicken Cesar wrap and two banana smoothies which totaled 37.50. I was surprised at the price as the sign clearly said 3.00 for tea beverages with a .50 up charge for flavors and the wraps were 10.50 a piece. Overall disappointed for being over charged for things I didn't order even though I technically received what I paid for. The meal wasn't bad but certainly wasn't satisfying I believe the issue was the employees lack of culinary skills and understanding. I'm so glad that they added this place to Chagrin Falls. The location is so convenient and it filled a much needed niche for the community! Great place to stop in for some trendy healthy options like avocado toast or an acai bowl! You can also get a juice, smoothie, coffee or tea to go along with your food. Much of their menu is customizable so it's super easy for you add your favorite toppings to a salad or just pick from their menu as it is! A lot of their food also has fun health food additions like bee pollen which is fun to try and of course makes you feel like you're doing something good for your body! There is some seating inside so you can eat there if you want, but this is definitely a great to go option if you want to grab something healthy to take with you on the go! The location makes this spot even better because it's right next to a yoga studio and gym so this is the perfect spot to grab a nourishing smoothie or healthy snack afterward, that doesn't completely cancel out your workout! Great for salads, wraps, shakes, etc. We love coming here on weekends after a workout. However, this is not the place to visit for coffee! I ordered an iced mocha and was given black hot coffee poured over ice with a splash of almond milk. I thought maybe she heard my order wrong, but when she handed it to me she said "here's your mocha". There was nothing "mocha" about it, plus the ice melted before we got out of the parking lot so I essentially paid for water with a taste of coffee. It was not drinkable. read more

No turkey in my hungry bee bowl...despite the fact that the young woman making the bowl turned to read the ingredients off the board as she was making it. There are only 5 bowl menu items...I'm dumbfounded that these are not memorized especially given that there are so few of them to learn. The spinach, sprouts, carrots, etc. in my bowl were fresh and crisp. And all the ingredients I could see behind the sneeze guard looked equally as fresh. This place does anything but cleanse your soul. I have been there multiple times after yoga and every time it is the same. Some people are "in" with it, others cannot get service. They take people out of line behind you and fill their orders first--regularly. Only go if you have a lot of time and have an image that appeals to the people working there.
