My pup had surgery across the street & since I lived over an hour away, I decided to work in Starbucks for the day. For breakfast I had a caramel macchiato and impossible sausage breakfast sandwich. For lunch I had the tomato mozzarella panini and pistachio latte. I don't really frequent Starbucks anymore but this location was clean (even the bathrooms), and staff were friendly. I was able to lounge in the corner and get my work done until my pup was ready for pickup. Everything was good. read more

I understand that this is a workplace for these employees. I understand that it is easy to forget that they have patrons that are trying to work in peace as they are waiting on somebody at a near by location. Or they are on the road sales, or similar. The problem is when the staff is having so much fun and they breakout in a spirited discussion, or project their voices across the space so their coworker can hear them. This is very unprofessional when you are on a conference call trying to conduct a meeting, or when you are participating in a meeting. I realize that using their WiFi is a courtesy extended to customers, but that is also why I try very hard to avoid coming to Starbucks for this reason. It's not like the customer bases aren't buying goods while they are at the location. The music could be turned down a bit for the same reasons. Thank you for your consideration. read more

Not to brag, but I've been a gold member at Starbucks since 2013. I've been to a lotta Starbs. I didn't even ask to stop in. We were on our way to Gatlinburg and my husband had to pee. The bathrooms were clean. You could see the thermometer they use to check the baristas with which I thought was nice, they even have masks in pastry bags incase you need one! All the staff were friendly. Our drinks were perfectly made. The staff was so friendly I struck up a conversation with two or three baristas. They kindly gave me some sugar in the raw too for my tea! Great starbucks to stop in on the way to Gatlinburg, it's the last one for miles! Great place to study or meet a friend if you're local! read more

TL;DR: Service is nonexistent, wait times are astronomical, no apologies when things are messed up. If your craving Starbucks and must use this store, 1st of all go through the drive through and 2nd, good luck. We visited this location on a Saturday morning around 9:15 way to some weekend fun in Clayton with our two friends and our 3 kids. Drive Thru was wrapped around the building, so our friend decided to go in and get their order and we followed suit. I personally stayed in the car with my kids. Having been to several Starbucks, my expectation is that they have a dedicated team for drive thru and one for inside. At this location, they seem to hire a different level of employee for the inside as they do for the drive thru. I watched them go through at least two complete wrap arounds of an estimated 25-30 cars in the drive thru as my wife and my friends wife sat inside still waited inside for their order. We didn't leave this location until around 10:30 am, delaying many of our days plans They were more than patient, waiting until 10-15 minutes after their order to start inquiring what was taking so long. When they did finally inquire as to the status of their order, they got two separate answers. One: Oh yeah it's coming... let me check on it for you. In which the employee would go towards the back and then return without said update and go about their business. The second and more insulting: "Oh we said your name once before your order was ready to check if you were still here and when we didn't hear a response we skipped your order." Ha, the hilarious thing was both my wife and our friend heard one of them say her name under his breath without a drink in his hand or being at the delivery area. They had no answer for why her drink order(placed right before my wife's) was not ready. But they could sure get the mobile order of the person who took my parking place when I left for a less chaotic spot in 5 minutes. There was no apology, just excuses. They got their food items long before drinks, which there is no reason to have the discrepancy. The type of food at Starbucks HAS to be warm. Otherwise it tastes like the frozen food it is. So since we waited for our drinks to eat the food once we all got back to the car, they were stone cold. To add to the debacle, all 4 drinks had something wrong with them. They weren't awful, but when I wait an hour and half for a quick coffee, it's never going to taste that good. This is never gonna be worth that much of a wait. I work in Automotive 'Retail' and realize that mistakes can be made, but this was an ABSOLUTE lack of caring and organization that I would guess started with management. No apology for mistakes, no "thank you for patience" no sense of urgency. All we got was placing blame on others and an "oh well attitude." This wasn't the response of some honest hard workers who made a mistake.... It was that of a group of workers who should never work retail again. I highly recommend everyone avoid this location until corporate comes in and either shuts it down or retrains the entire staff on service experience, urgency, and organization. read more

I typically go to this location. My fav barista here is Alex! On a more negative note...this location is notoriously SLOW!! It is a consistent 20-30 minute wait maximum in the driv thru. This arguably could be the worst Starbucks I have ever had the misfortune of visiting . I sat at the drive-through line behind three cars for almost 5 minutes finally got to be on deck, and proceeded to sit another three minutes and then decided to leave. Tired of waiting any longer. When I ordered, I asked if they had any kind bars which every Starbucks in the United States sells. However, this Starbucks employee did not even know what I was referring to. I'm not one to do reviews, but this place is an absolute disaster. I am an incredibly understanding and patient person. I waited for 30 min before even asking because I saw they were busy, but when it went completely dead and everyone before and after me had been served I asked 3 different times, and 15 minutes later finally got my drinks. Total of 45 minutes to get 2 drinks (my food came out reasonably)...Baristas have a piss poor attitude as a whole, they don't care if you're left waiting for 45+ minutes. Constant excuses and run around. They skip over orders completely even if they know you're standing right there, everything is done out of order. Worst experience ever. Will not return to this location. What a shame. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Steer clear. read more

Whenever we got to Starbucks we do a mobile order in advance. This would speed up the drive thru process if more people took advantage of this technology. Don't want to order in advance? Then at minimum pay via the app. This location tends to have long lines depending on the time you go. Never had an issues with our drinks or order here. read more

I've been here plenty of times and every time it's a fail. The drinks are never done right or they forget to add key ingredients. The food somehow also gets messed up with them either forgetting or giving it out rock hard after asking for it to be warmed. I would cut them some slack if they weren't so rude. I have given this location several chances, and seem to come away disappointed more often than not. Twice now I have observed an employee obviously sick behind the counter making drinks. Once I watched an employee climb up and actually stand on the counter. He did not clean it once he got down. The service is very slow and on three separate occasions my drink has been wrong. I've visited this Starbucks many times, and it's gotten better each time. It seems like they were a bit understaffed at first because there were long wait times the first few times I came here. I see some people have complained after that before me... BUT they were a new store with lots of new people and they have definitely improved since then. So I know it is Thanksgiving, but popped in with my niece to grab a quick mocha. There were no customers inside and maybe three at the drive thru. I place our order and we go sit down. After almost 10 min, I see 4 employees horsing around to the point where one pushes the other one down. I then ask, and not in a nice tone at this point, where are our drinks? They looked like deer in headlights. Two of them just looked at each other then a third pointed to our order. REALLY, there is no one else in here. Then we got an excuse that it was taking long because something was not dispensing right....yeah, right. Drinks seemed good when we got them, but I've never gotten what I ordered before, so i have nothing to compare it to. I was so happy to see this location open, and I will give it another chance, but if this is an indication of the service they are going to provide, I will not have the patience for them. Starbucks was offering a buy one get one deal running today from 2-7. Girl on the intercom took our order for two teas & stated that'd she'd take care of discount once we got to the window, explaining that the total would change. Once we got to the window, an employee handed us our drinks as soon as we pulled up without a receipt. When asked about the total, she declined to print a receipt, stating the offer was only available when using the app (which we have), which was not stated prior to payment. We explained that she hadn't spoken about the promotional offer and ran our card improperly, but stared at us without speaking as if she was incapable of offering any response whatsoever. No offer was made, no apology, no explanation - a literal dumbfounded stare. Long story short, Starbucks stole $5 dollars out of our pocket along with an employee who acted as if her mistake, intentional or not, wasn't her problem. Will not be returning. read more

When I pulled in at approximately 3:15 3:20 PM, the drive thru was wrapped around the building actually blocking the entrance. I proceeded to get in the line. After waiting about 7-8 min without moving but half a car length, I decided to park and go in. There was a mom and 2 daughters placing their order and I was next. I paid my order at 3:25! The group before me, the woman after me, and myself stood and waited. 3 people on staff who were ALL handling drive through. My coffee, incorrect order, came to me at 3:42! 17 min. Got to know the others very well. One woman actually works fir another Starbucks. Hopefully she handles this for the sake of this store. I ordered a nitro with sweet cream and got s cold brew instead. No biggie and quickly replaced but 17 Minutes in the pick up counter line while the entire drive thru got served including many cars after I ordered. Unacceptable read more

Decided to write this review because I tried to give this Starbucks the benefit of the doubt but this is the third time and I've been to this drive thru 3 times and my daughter has been once. The drive thru is slow and the drinks are never right. My daughter left the line after ordering because she said she waited 22 minutes and it did not move. It happened to be twice but I didn't want that long so I kept coming back. This third time I was actually in the front of the line and could see inside, which is why I am mad and am writing this. The employees are just TALKING inside. While I watched her she made my drink and just let it sit there while she was talking to the other barista. I honked my horn and asked if I can have my drink that is just sitting there and she opened the window and said "we're really busy" took my cars and shut the window. After that I watched her pour my drink in the cup and give it to me. I looked inside and they definitely were not busy. The Alpharetta and dunwoody Starbucks are mu h mi h busier WITH ACTUAL PEOPLE and they don't make you wait this long. (And the drinks are actually made right there) read more
