They didn't show any annoyance though and happily took our orders. We ordered one strawberry banana and one piña colada smoothie. The piña colada one was kind of crazy. I don't know what they put in that but it literally taste like the real thing. It was perfect in the heat. We also ordered a caramel mocha iced coffee and a strawberry matcha. They were honestly both very good. The employees got our drinks out very fast and they even gave us some great recommendations of things to check out! The cotton candy with the pop rocks was a nice surprise. There are a few tables and a wooden bench along the wall for seating, as well as a long table attached to the wall with chairs. The decor was very Southern, with a Hey Ya'll sign on the wall, and a few quoted pictures around the walls. It was very cute. I will definitely return because of how close this location is to where I recently moved, and because of the variety and length of the menu. We were helped by a rude young lady, and we had a question about the size of the cups, she was actually annoyed that we asked and she held up the cups with a smirk and turned colleagues and started laughing... we placed our order and she waited on the next customers who got their ice cream 10 minutes before we did as ours sat on the counter and melted. before we were called. The owner took the time to track me down and send a message over social media letting me know they think I left it behind and they'd hold it for me or I could have a credit towards a future visit. They have plenty of spots in the back, but they are reserved for employees only. All but one of the employee spots were available. After circling the block a few times, I was able to park a block away on the street. When I walked in, I mentioned I was picking up food but I also wanted to order a coffee. The man at the counter rudely told me that I had to pick up my food at the counter in the back. When I asked if they had nonfat milk, I was again met with an attitude and he said "we only have local milk and three dairy alternatives." It was very clear that I wasn't being respected because I wasn't a local. Imagine my surprise when a small/medium sized latte, with no syrup, was $9.10. Absolute highway robbery for an average latte. For food, I ordered an avocado toast with shaved egg. I had a much better experience interacting with the woman at the food window. She was incredibly kind, made an effort to talk to me and my food was ready 20 minutes early. It was good and fresh, but I now know that I'm not a fan of the texture of shaved eggs. I'm in Sarasota a few times a year and I will absolutely not be going back.
