After spending a fun evening at Anna Maria Beach, we were looking for warm milk for our infant and searched for a Starbucks near our area. We were just in time before closing, and we ordered warm milk for our kid as well as egg bites. Another great thing was that the restrooms were clean, and we got to refresh ourselves. We also soon received our warm milk, and we gave our infant whole milk, which was good for him. Additionally, we had egg bites, which proved to be a great dinner for our child. Decently normal Starbucks with occasionally strange people rolling through. It's rather unremarkable, outside of the fact that music is LOUD. It's like being in a nightclub! So, if you plan on doing any work at this location, bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones. The shift supervisor named Kim was extremely rude. I am a regular to Starbucks and this one in particular. We went through the drive through and she said go ahead with your order and when we started to order she said um you need to wait a minute while I was in mid sentence. Then when we got to the window we started to pay with a card and she asked for a tip and when we put no thanks she told us to take the card back and when we did she shook her head and snatched from my wife. My wife asked for the boss and she said " I am the boss honey". My wife then told her she was being rude and will call corporate she said you are rude and walked away from the window until the coffee was done being made and came back and gave it us and walked away without saying anything else to us. When I drive all the way down to Bradenton from Tampa for my burn Center appointment this Starbucks is a stop either before or after. Not all Starbucks make the coffee right, but this one does. I tried a few of my faves here and all of them were on point. I tried the new tuxedo mocha and it blew me away at this location. The one in Tampa (Westchase Racetrack rd) made it with way more milk than espresso. I wish these baristas would come and train the Tampa stores. They have the special magic coffee touch. read more

This Starbucks is much like the others. Being a corporate coffee joint means they should all be mostly the same. The reason I like to go ahead and rate each one individually is due to the big factor that separates them, the staff. This particular Starbucks holds a special place in my heart for opening so quickly after Hurricane Irma struck last week. These troopers came in to work when they most likely didn't even have power at their own homes. Since dairy products had to be used or discarded with the potential to be out of power for an unknown amount of time, they made a sign that explained they had soy, almond, and other diary alternatives. This undoubtedly frustrated some patrons and these amazing people took it in such stride. When I pulled up, I explained that I had never had anything in coffee other that dairy products. The guy helped me work out what would be a great alternative. I love that they were so helpful and patient. They seem to know how to handle frustrated customers and that is a fundamental part of working in customer service. read more

Today I ordered from a cake pop from this starbucks location and there was a hair in the chocolate coating on the outside of it. This is absolutely disgusting. The drinks are never consistent. I like that this Starbucks is spacious! That's important. The cashier was very nice, I got my coffee pretty quickly. I came here to hang out and do some work, but it was very tough to have some peace and enjoy the calm coffee shop vibe. High schoolers flooded this location. So note - do not come here after 3pm (during the week) unless you like noisy high schoolers. I probably won't come back to this location because of that reason. My favorite Starbucks anywhere, the staff here is fun and inviting...making you feel like family. They schedule theme days, like "dork day"where everyone must dress as dorky as they can. They incorporate coffee into their everyday language "thanks a latte."and truly enjoy their work which is so refreshing! It doesn't take much for them to learn your favorites and they show you by asking if you want it when you go to order. The only problem is their seating is a little rough...too-broken in benches and no comfy chairs. The counter chairs work for computer work but a big soft armchair would be heaven. read more
