The strawberry matcha was really good!!!
    Natalya K.

Service was friendly, fast and efficient. The space itself was very fun and simple but welcoming. Everyone liked the coffees they tried but I personally felt that the strawberry matcha stole the show for me!!! It was just sweet enough from the strawberry sauce but you could still taste the matcha distinctly. Highly recommend for sure!

I fall asleep and dream about this chia pudding bowl!!!! The fresh fruit, coconut topping and delicious pink chia pudding hit the spot every time!! A Sarasota staple!! The matcha, coffee and everything else is also delish!

Breakfast Burrito (must've been out of the usual chimichurri, they gave me hot sauce). Very filling!

Visited my hometown again and one of my first stops was this cafe. So apparently they had just recently stopped being all vegan. They used to have an amazing vegan egg and cheese on a biscuit. Now the egg and cheese sandwiches are vegetarian and the only savory vegan option is avocado toast. From having several fun savory sandwich options to just an avocado toast is such a bummer. I also wish for a diner mug instead of a latte cup for drip coffee (cools off faster because the larger surface area and no little top of latte foam). But maybe that's just me. Whatever, just bummed on the change.

Such a cool coffee shop! I tried the Strawberry Matcha and it had such a great Matcha flavor and the strawberry didn't taste like fake syrup, tasted like real fresh strawberries. Staff was nice and whole atmosphere is a cool place to hangout at. They have food options as well.

Was on vacay and so happy to have found this little gem! I love a good coffee shop and bonus points if they serve food! This place had it all, nice vibes, chill atmosphere, friendly service, merch and coffee beans which I always need. Lots of seating inside with a few outside options as well. Their brunch menu was out of a few items so it was limited but everyone was satisfied with what they ordered. I would definitely return when in the area again.

Really cool coffee shop. vibes were excellent. Beautiful space and plenty of places to sit. Espresso was tasty and strong for $4 (before tip). Came on a Sunday and parking was easy to find in front of the coffee shop. Sunday free parking.

Nehhh! Very limited options. No milk No half and half and coffee was average. I had better coffee at a Harlem Bodega in NYC. Very disappointing $3+ coffee down the drain.

Absolutely obsessed with this place. The whole aesthetic of the cafe was stunning and so fresh. Very Instagramable decor and vibe. Staff was nice and helpful with ordering. Wish they had menus in line or a QR code outside while you wait in line. Was frustrated that I had to make a choice so fast because they only had menus at cash register and not posted anywhere else to see. Thankfully everything on the menu was so yummy. Was shocked it's all vegan. I am vegetarian and used to vegan meals but this exceeded my expectations. Wish I would have got the hash brown sandwich and add the tomato jam that was on the sandwich I got. Food came out pretty fast too. Wish we had this place in Orlando.

Project is without-a-doubt my go-to coffee shop in SRQ. Both locations, Pineapple st. and Rosemary District, are consistent in their laid-back vibes, inviting baristas, and delicious menu items. Even with each of their items being 100% vegan, everything is absolutely amazing. Their hot drinks and iced coffees are robust and creamy, but my favorite beverage is the ube matcha latte, easily one of the most visually appealing drinks you'll ever find (pictured). When it comes to food, the cinnamon bun is heavenly, and the smash sandwich (exclusive to the Rosemary District location) is flavorful and extremely filling. FYI the Pineapple st. location definitely has seating, but with its much larger size, the Rosemary District location is much more roomy.

Was ok last we went not so good. Food was just ok. Coffee not like before. Was a bit watery and my partners was way too hot and watery.

I found this place because it was a couple of blocks from where we had a work conference and had my morning hot Matcha latte. I learned that they were 100% vegan and plant based so also ordered a piece of pumpkin bread to take with me. While it is not pictured, it is tasty. I had such a great time and enjoyed my Matcha that I returned at the end of the day and tried the Ube Matcha. While it was a tad bit sweeter than I would've liked I appreciated the Matcha and Ube combo and would highly recommend you check this out if you happen to find yourself in Sarasota.

100% vegan. 100% delicious. of course i found project coffee on the last day of our trip. if id known this gem existed sooner, i would have been there daily. it doesn't seem to be well advertised that project coffee is all vegan - maybe as to not scare off the non-vegans. but if you look at the tiny print at the bottom of the menu, you can see the glorious "100% vegan"text. i recommend the cheesy egg biscuit with a side of the spicy maple syrup. it comes with sriracha but i hijacked my partner's syrup and it added another dimension to the sandwich. the sweetness of the syrup paired perfectly with the buttery flakey biscuit and the cheesy chive filled eggs. the tropical chia bowl was a refreshing way to end our meal. the coconut drizzle on top was the star of the show. i'd order extra drizzle it was seriously so good. i was also amazed at all the pasty options and how delicious/beautiful they looked. i had a hard time choosing so I got 3 of them. 2 of which i carried around the airport all day. i'm not a fan of lemon desserts but the stuffed lemon sugar cookie was the best - the cookie was soft and buttery and the buttercream melted in my mouth. the matcha pistachio cube cake and the carrot cake mini loaf had a rough trip home but they were still delicious. cute vibe, nice staff, i wish we would have found project coffee sooner.

Cool ambiance! Dope playlist- as a New Yorker it had an awesome vibe in here and the people were dope ! Everyone had a dope style as well! I had a dirty chai latte with oatmilk and it was good! The avocado toast looked really good! I'll come for it next time !

February 16, 2025 - 4 for lunch…read more We are long time members and this is my first time since all the renovations and work. First time to The Green Orchid. Perfect name! We had friends in from snowy cold NY / LI and this was one of the key stops with them during their stay. The place was pretty packed in season. No outdoor spots and we waited a few minutes for an indoor four top. Service was spectacular. The food was very good as we got a bunch of salads and light food entrees. There were a few cocktails as well for the wives. My salad was a lot of romaine but very spartan on edamame, onion, nuts or anything else. The green dressing was good. Clean as a hospital operating room!! Food was fresh and delightful. All the entrees we had were mid $25 range and with a beer at $8 and mixed drinks at $15 we zoomed up to about $42 per person or $174 for 4 people tax and gratuity. It was surely "tourist" and higher priced for a lunch. I picked up the tab for our guests and with the over 65 restaurants I have reviewed on Main Street and in Sarasota....... I am not sure this was so convenient and easy to be worth the cost/value for what you got? We might even walk the waterfront or head down Lemon or Pineapple and hit Main Street as an option next time? More friends in a few days and a few in March. The "boss" and social director will make the call.!!!

We sat outside where there were heaters, less noise, and viewing if the lights. Gigi was very attentive, and knowledgeable regarding the menu. We got some festive holiday drinks ( yummy). The coconut curry soup was light and delicious. The chicken saltimbaca was equally tasty, as was the blackened redfish sandwich. Reasonable prices.
