The service:: I am someone who needs to leave the house during quarantine. Even to go to the drive through for pharmacy and Starbucks. Seeing a human, even masked, other than my husband can really brighten my day. The employees at the Starbucks in Belle Vernon are upbeat and seem to enjoy their work. One time I was there I had accidentally left my card in my house and they let me have one on the house. A little bit of kindness can go a long way, especially during these unusual times. The drink:: No matter where you get it, Starbucks coffee tastes burnt. It IS burnt, which is how they get a unified flavor no matter the location. I would never drink it unless I'm covering it with lots of creamer, sugar, foam, caramel pumps. Or if I'm getting a milkshake, oh sorry, I meant a frappuccino. I do enjoy the matcha green tea latte. While the majority of my visits occur early in the morning on my way to work, I have to say that the staff that shifts the early morning time slot are great. They are always very pleasant, kind, and make an effort to ensure their customers have a great start to their day. I have never had a "mistake" made with my order, unlike other coffee places in our area. They are great with recommendations when I've needed them, and are usually very quick to move through a line when they get backed up. These people do help make mornings a little brighter! read more

Stopped at this Starbucks right off Interstate 70 during our trip back from the holidays for a "quick" coffee. Do yourself favor and keep driving to the next nearest Starbucks. Would give zero stars if possible - this location does not deserve even one star. Only two in-store orders before mine and we waited almost 25 minutes. Poorly managed and organized that any drive thru or mobile orders, despite taken later, were given priority over the in-store orders. I'm the most understanding person when it comes to busy times and not being fully staffed but they close on weird days and on the day they are open I stood in line for 30 mins for my mobile order and had to leave without my drink that I did pay for because I had to go back to work. If ordering ahead doesn't help you save on time what's the point of it? This is by far the worst Starbucks I ever go to. With my job I travel from Greensburg/Uniontown/all targets and this is the absolute worst this always causes me problems. I didn't give this location as many stars as today when I reviewed last, because they didn't have the only drink I really like, but they did the past two times. They missed the 5th star because the girl in the drivethru was visibly irritated. I don't like salty cashiers. So she missed the 5th star and her tip that I always give because after she took my money and gave me my change, she slammed the window shut. She's the most miserable employee I've encountered there, and I don't think the review should be terrible when I have received 5 star service in the past. Someone give that girl a hug! read more

I like this Starbucks. It is nicely situated providing easy access off and back on to I-70, and it is in a strip mall near but not part of the major shopping parking lots for Walmart and Lowe's and (what's left of) Kmart. Greatly reduces traffic hassles. The store is nicely bright with windows on two sides, and all of my experiences ordering have been great. The coffees have always been what I expect from Starbucks, and the quality of the service better than I expect from Starbucks. Whenever I am heading east, I always stop here to get one for the road. read more

The nice thing is it's located right off of 70 and it's easy to get off and back on the highway. It has an outdoor patio with few seats plus the drivethru looks easy to enter. The staff was nice and the place was clean. The sign on the wall says it only holds 49 people so I guess it is small. read more

Worse Starbucks trip I've ever had, including the time they ran out of soy milk and I couldn't place my order. I found myself in an odd situation in which I knew more about the coffee than the barista. When I ask you basic questions about the roast and you respond that you don't drink coffee and can't answer my questions, you fail. You don't need to try it to have a general understanding off the bean and its characteristics. When you assume I've completed my order without asking me, you fail. When you entire demeanor says I really don't want to be here, Starbucks fails. The coffee was fine, but had a bittersweet aftertaste as a directv result of shoddy service. read more

I think the vanilla sweet cream cold brew and pumpkin spice cold foam cold brew here are better than the average Starbucks, and I don't say that lightly - I'm a serial cold brew consumer. read more

Went there with a couple of my friends, all of our orders were perfect, but there was a creepy middle aged man in the corner. He was staring at us, and every time a teenage girl came in he got excited and stared at them. We told an employee and they took it seriously but a woman that also worked there told us the man was harmless and is there all the time. We aren't the confrontational type, we wouldn't make a scene unless it was serious, and to be blatantly shut down with our worry, was pretty irritating. Nobody is harmless these days, and when you can't recognize some bodies habits (checking underage girls often) then there is a problem. Every customer should be treated equally, and to write our concern off, is very rude. Any creepy man that makes your clientele uncomfortable should be taken serious. So if ou are a younger woman, watch out! There's a "harmless" pervert that will watch you the whole time you are there! read more

This one is a hit or miss. Some of the people there don't make the drinks to well but depending on the time I have found early morning when same people are there make the best cup. But still a decent location. Drive thru is available at this location but sucks because of rt70 makes hearing the speaker hard but it has improved since they put a semi barrier up. read more

He then said "well I thought it was okay because you have whipped cream." I now have to drive to Pittsburgh for decent Starbucks. 9/9/15 evening. After an exhausting 3hr drive from an awesome trip to the beach...still in my swimsuit, and stil somewhat damp and sand covered...I arrive to my hometown and do not want to go into Walmart because of my attire. Aunt Annie's in Walmart has an INCREDIBLE Pumpkin smoothie that my kids LOVE! So to avoid getting out my car all grungy in swimsuit...instead I go to belle Vernon Starbucks drive thru to experiment with their pumpkin cream frappucinos, they have to AT LEAST be comparable right? But most importantly I don't have to get out of my car. Worth the extra $, right? Ordered 2 venti and 1 tall pumpkin creme Frappucinos, total darn near $20. The window guy was super down to earth and nice. I received my order and drove off. Tasted my tall, but ew, not pumpkin...was salt caramel (many ppl probably would have loved it but I hate caramel). I turn around and go back to the drive through to encounter like 5 extended size SUVs waiting to order. That's when I knew and cringed cuz I now HAVE TO GO IN!!! I reverse back out of the drive through area (safely thank god, no one was coming or I would have been stuck who knows how long in that drive thru after I already been through it and sat in this car for 3+ hrs). I park...I go in my trunk to find something quick to throw over me in my swimsuit...I looked like a total DORK. I wait in line with my drink carrier containing the 2 venti and tall caramels, looking like a dingy old dork bum among a crowd of hipsters until I'm acknowledged with Indifference from the girls. The register guy was alright. I didn't interact with the window teller or I would have been so much more comfortable. So, as they were making the drinks I originally ordered, girl behind counter, bs-Ing with her friend. I watched her give the 2 mistaken frappucinos to her no charge. Ok, fine...but what did she do for them while I was super embarrassed looking like a fool, STILL INSIDE that place when I SHOULD HAVE FINALLY BEEN HOME!? They didn't offer a gift card, an apology, nothing. I was just a nuisance. So finally I get what I ordered, half mixed. Syrup all over the bottom. Mine tasted aweful. Hopefully the kids will like theirs, cuz I'm not going anywhere else. They were a flop. They drank them but did not like them. Mission Starbucks...BIG MI$TAKE!!! But at least I contributed to one of the employees friend scoring two salted caramel creme frappucinos. I wasted $$, time, and pride...but hopefully I at least gained some good karma. read more

I sometimes go here just to relax, have a coffee, and catch up with close friends. I frequent this place mostly late afternoon, when I do go. Great place, awesome atmosphere, like any Starbucks. Service is great, they are pretty prompt to get to the register, to take your order. Even when they are busy. Only drawback is chair selection. When all comfy seats are taken, your stuck with wooden chairs that screech on the floors if you scoot to your table. There is I believe one booth like table, in one corner and in the other corner there is a three couch like chairs set-up, around a small circular table, then along the wall there are the small wooden chairs and tables. So altogether good place to go occasionally. That's why I rated it a 4 of 5 stars. Tip: only go in if you see the comfy chairs aren't taken. If they are, just order to go. :) read more

I frequently go there I have no choice. As its the only starbucks close. Every time I do something is wrong with drink, service, appearance of store or all of the above. I went there everyday but Sunday for almost a whole year and was never told about the rewards program. Poor customer service. I have complained and got told they would credit my card 10 dollars...never did. So I complained again and they gave me a 15 dollar credit...which I did get. But in the scheme of things Big Deal! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Word of advice.....check your drink before you leave drivethru. read more

Just your average Starbucks. This one has the worst drive that I ever seen. It's right next to interstate 70. You can't hear the order takers and they can't hear you when the interstate is busy. They need a sound barrier. One other thing about their drive thru its a very tight turn around the corner of the building. Little cars no problems, big trucks gonna have to do some backing and turning to get thru. read more
