So I proceeded to pull forward to the second window. The young lady asked if I placed an order. I explained that I waited, but couldn't, because no one was at the first window to take my order. She stated that she couldn't take my order and instructed me to pull forward, and get back in that long line again to order at the first window. Despite pointing out how punitive this request was, she would not budge and correct their erroneous action. Needless to say I left with nothing and took my business to another establishment.

We'd been traveling since the wee hours of the morning and decided to grab some local coffee before making the final push to Bar Harbor. We found this spot on Yelp. When we arrived to find them inside a gas station convenience store, we were apprehensive. But, once we made our way inside, we found a cute little coffee counter with a menu full of fun specialty espresso beverages. Their drinks trend toward the sweeter side but the espresso is solid and the beverages were good. The service was friendly and they have a drive thru. Get to it!

We ordered a 32oz Rush, a 24oz Rush, and cinnamon rolls. When our drinks came out, both were made as 24oz. Mistakes happen, so my roommate politely pointed out that one of them was supposed to be a 32oz. Instead of remaking the drink or putting more rush into it, the barista simply poured it into a larger cup and filled the rest with ice. Normally I wouldn't complain about something minor like a size mix-up, but there's over a $2 price difference between the 24oz and 32oz drinks, so it was disappointing to feel like I didn't actually receive what I paid for.

So firstly I would recommend showing up early or to expect a wait especially on weekends. Also related to this their space is quite small it can be a little chaotic with finding a spot to sit. Despite the small space they have made sure it is very beautifully designed and amazing vibes overall. Makes sense why it is so popular honestly. We snagged some of their outdoor seats and enjoyed the nice weather with our breakfast. They have a good mix of sweet and savory and talking to some others in line they said you honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They have a great amount of coffee drink options too and when you order a large they are not lying, it is huge. I finished mine during breakfast but my wife and mother got theirs in a to-go cup before we left and looked like a normal sized large still. Food wise I felt like I had to try their Blueberry French Toast and it did not disappoint, great take on the dish. Only real complaint I could say is I would prefer a little thinner slice of bread so it can soak a little better but no real complaints. My wife got the Librarian Omelette (minus mushrooms) and it was large and jam full, they did not skimp on ingredients. Her only real complaint was some bacon was thicker than she prefers but again minimal. If you are looking for a spot to grab some delicious breakfast and/or coffee in central Maine this should be near the top of your list. From the overall vibes to quality of drinks and food you will likely have a difficult finding a better spot.

We waited at the food counter but no one paid attention. They were talking and laughing with each other, oblivious. The woman from the register had to come over and take our order. We finished shopping and waited for our sandwiches. 30+ minutes, standing there. The only ones. They're still yammering away. In between all of this, the register lady is running back and forth from their area to hers while they weren't worried about anything. This place is set up to be a real money maker. The food was good once we got it. The location is great. But it's a completely inefficient operation.
