Cold brew was good and well priced but the strawberry rhubarb turnover was absolutely excellent and the star of the show. One of my most disappointing bites…read more I went here for the Dubai croissant, the pictures were pretty and perfect, unfortunately that's where it stopped. The croissant looked crisp and airy, not over filled. But when you bit into it there was no crunch, completely lacking that delicate glass like texture that really makes a croissant. It felt days old stale and thick, no layers, just a block of filled bread. The breakfast sandwiches are premade and microwaved (at least that as the texture) to order. Underseasoned and dull. The coffee on the other hand was good. I'd go back for the coffee, definitely not the breakfast or pastries.

After visiting with some family and in search of a coffee to start the day this was on our way back home and their drink specials stood out. Firstly, they had about 10 or 12 specials for the month compared to most spots having usually 5 at most. So many of them sounded good with some highlights being Birthday Cake Latte, Blueberry Pancake Latte, Strawberry Shortcake Latte, Blueberry Chai, & Coconut Matcha. A special for everyone's taste/preference. Mentioned in their about section of the website they were looking to create not only a place to grab a coffee but a place to gather. I would say as first time visitors it appeared they accomplished that goal. They created a welcoming and overall great atmosphere that would be such a nice spot to swing in to catch up with friends or bring the family for drinks and baked goods. Which based on signage they create all the baked goods in house and looked like they had a great variety. Coffee wise they support local and use beans from a fellow Maine business, Black Ink Coffee in Bangor. My wife got the Blueberry Pancake Iced Latte and I got the Strawberry Shortcake Iced Latte. Both had tons of flavor, definitely sweet though so be mindful if that isn't your thing. Lastly, we had each got a sausage egg and cheese on an english muffin. Let me say they were some of the largest english muffins I have had. The egg was also seasoned much more than you usually get. A top-notch breakfast sandwich I would return for. Quick and friendly service with delicious food and drinks. A coffee spot I would find myself returning to!

Service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. Almost left the place, just because the…read moreservice was so bad from the start. First time here, so did not know what to expect. Turns out, one is expected to grab a couplet menus and find a seat for yourself. The instructions about this were a bit rude. Found a table, checked out the menu, and went to the counter to place an order. Asked a question about the sausage they use ( there is a local company that makes great sausage) and got a shoulder shrug response. Between our two plates, we received sausage, bacon, ham, and steak breakfast meats. Would not recommend any of them. Point of sale is a tablet device, and I was informed - rudely- that no printed receipt is available. The tablet did indicate that the assumed tip choices were 20/25/30 % for counter service. Overall, prices are not terrible. If the service were decent, this could be a decent place. The menu appears to have some interesting lunch options. I noticed there was a lot of take-out activity happening. Might be an ok place to grab a lunch if working downtown area. There are some nice views out the large windows to watch traffic of the downtown area. The floors were very dirty. Every table in the place had food underneath, and we stepped over a lot of potatoes between the door and the table we chose. Menu pics included for information. With a better service experience, this place has some potential for ok food at ok prices.

One waitress and a bus man ran the frontside and two cooks and a wash boy worked the backside. We arrived and were the only ones in line, as a party of two we waited 30 minutes to be seated. The convenience store and dinning area were anything but clean. Dirty floors, old spiderwebs hanging off the ceilings, and a collection of ?dirtt¿ on top the coolers and every other available surface. The saving grace for the Settlement was the actual food. I ordered the big breakfast that came with 2 eggs, bacon, two slices of French Toast, crispy deep fried home fries, and an English muffin (a.k.a. butter sponge) all for $12! My date had the Oatmeal and white toast and a side of French Toast. The food was well prepared and flavorful. 6/10 for this corner store staple in Sabattus!

The majority of them, during my teenage and young adult life, were smaller establishments built with brick and had this pale brown color with the Cumberland Farms logo. They only had spots to pump gas and it was a hot spot for those who like to play scratchers. This location started across the street from where it is today as Staff D. pointed out in her review, and bought the land on its current location and upgraded to a Super Cumbies, well they don't call it that, but one could surmise that is what it would be called. They now have twice the number of gas pumps and the store is nearly 3 times larger. They increased the height of the ceiling, added more fridges and a walk-in fridge to browse the number of beers they offer from your typical corporate beers to some locally craft beers. The quality of the food and snack offerings has significantly gotten better and despite some still labeling it as "gas station food", you have to appreciate the rebranding and upgrades they made to the slushy machines, the coffee station as well as a touch screen ordering system to order some of their upgrade menu selection. I personally enjoy the new look and it was a wise move on their part to upgrade because who complains about a 99 cent coffee all day, and everyday. They do have to compete with Dunkin next door to them, but Dunkin does not offer gas and Cumbies does. Stop in and check out the place if you haven't seen it.
