Convenien location for zipping in for a quick afternoon coffee fix. Since it was warm out I settled for a chocolate chip frappuccino. Decedent and sweet it was cool and ever so refreshing. Staff is constantly ignoring every customer waiting to order. Ever since a year ago, over half of the drinks leak. It almost seems like the lids are defective. The turn over rate is extremely high, I come here every week and see no faces. Which also means people are constantly making mistakes. The ratings for Starbucks can be so across the board based on so many factors that it's worth taking them with a grain of salt. After all, you've got numerous factor like time of day, speed of service, noise, ambience, parking, quality of drinks and so on. And like every coffee drinker knows, it's easy to feel negative before you get your caffeine fix. I'm here to report that on my initial visit to this location I was actually relieved to find a place that seemed more like a Starbucks should be and less like what it's turned into in busier locations in downtown Sacramento. That includes service with a smile, a full deli case and food and drinks that come out promptly. Even the Bistro boxes were fresher and packed to the plastic rim with goodies. That being said it's still your corporate juggernaut with a cookie cutter selection and a little too much foot traffic. read more

Sigh, I love Starbucks, but....this place typically stresses me the heck out! Here's why: Upon entering the premises, I felt like I was shoved into a sardine can. Too many individuals! There's hardly a place to stand, let alone sit. It gets very claustrophobic in here! But, if you like being a sardine in a can, this place would be great to mingle; if only the other customers were slightly friendly and didn't give me a dirty look when I asked if they were at the end of the line (some people formed two lines so it was hard to know which was which). So I've been having trouble with my gold card lately and so normally I can't use my points. Its been about a month of this tragic mess, yet the girls here this morning made it fantastic. Young girl blonde hair, light completion was super sweet and understanding about the app. She said to call the number she gave me and so I did. I was only on a 15 min break and time was running out.
