This Starbucks is located in the Westin on Peach Street. We arrived around 10 a.m., and it was pretty busy. Even after we placed our order, the line remained steady. We ordered two drinks and a bacon, egg, and gouda sandwich on chapatti bread. The sandwich was fresh and hot, although slightly slanted, and some of the filling fell out. However, that didn't affect the delicious flavor. My sister ordered a ham and cheese croissant. The food and drinks took a little while to prepare, but considering how busy it was, only two employees were working. Overall, it's nothing special--just another Starbucks in a nice hotel. read more

Not my favorite Starbucks location, though I will give it to the store for its convenience (located right inside the Westin). I didn't think it were possible to screw up a small black coffee with almond milk order. All three times I've visited the store, I did not receive said almond milk. And workers are so busy managing the line, that I feel bad interrupting the other waiting customers to get my order right. read more

Wow talk about super fast service. The only thing holding these guys back are the customers taking forever to order in front of us. Our drinks came out quick and professionally. The staff at this Starbucks, tucked inside the Westin Peachtree, are really friendly. There are also plenty of comfortable seating options scattered around - from high tops to cushy chairs surrounding tables. They clearly get hit hard at times, judging by the windy-line temp barricades for crowd control. We stopped here several times during a cold long weekend. One time the line was so long a staff member came out with a portable stand of cups to expedite orders. (Problem with this - if you ordered a plain drip you waited a lot longer because the baristas got backed up with fancy coffees while the register was busy processing purchases.) read more

For a Starbucks - at least for me - this is as good as it gets! I was in severe decaffeination mode. Upon arriving at my hotel - I engaged in some reconnaissance by quizzing the hotel front desk folks on potential sources of caffeine. They advised me the closest Starbucks was just up the street about 3 blocks in the lobby of the Westin Hotel. I made a mental note of this and would soon follow up after finding some lunch. After lunch, walking back to the hotel, I ventured into the Westin from the Peachtree Street entrance - you have to walk through the hotel and take the escalators down one level to get to the Starbucks. Ordered an iced, triple-shot Grande latte. Strong, cold, and tasty! Man did that hit the spot! read more

We stayed at the Westin hotel in Atlanta recently while traveling. We love Starbucks so we were happy to see the location in the lobby at the Westin ! We ended up having breakfast from there twice , spending $50 just one morning! We tried the Dragonfruit drink made with coconut milk and it was delicious! Although there was always a line , with that exception of our last day, the staff were always expedient in getting everyone's order out! We never had to wait long getting breakfast. Unfortunately, our last visit to Starbucks didn't go so great! I ordered a caramel latte, vanilla latte and another large dragonfruit drink for my husband. The drinks came out one by one but my vanilla latte never came out! I walked back up to the counter thinking it would surely be ready only to find no one there but I can see my cup still sitting near the coffee machines. It turned out that there was some miscommunication amongst the workers and no one made my vanilla latte! After alerting the staff that was in the back that they missed a cup , someone finally came out and apologized and made my vanilla latte. I was offered a cookie for the mishap. I just couldn't understand how that could happen ...all three cups were there to be made. I appreciate the young lady that came out and sincerely apologized to me and said she felt bad! I was disappointed too because I was just thinking how impressed I was with the previous service we had received. read more

A quiet little Starbucks located inside the Westin Peachtree Plaza. Hotel Starbucks are usually a bit more expensive than regular Starbucks. But on an especially early Monday morning, coffee was a must, no matter the cost. The seating and tables are the same furniture as the rest of the hotel lobby. It's comfy but good for meetings, too. My sister loves this Starbucks, especially since she is there everyday. The baristas are especially nice to her, too. Absolutely horrible service. We ordered when only 1 employee was out and our order was completely forgotten. The rest of the employees emerged from the back but were still absolutely worthless. Granted I've had SLOW times at this store too especially slow when there is no line at all. I came to the Westin today for a conference and I'm sitting in the lobby where starbucks is and a security guard approaches me as I sit here with TWO cups of a tall caramel apple spice (because the subpar baristas couldn't get it right the first time and it STILL doesn't taste good). I'm sitting at a long wooden table with a Caucasian female and he says to me are you a guest of the hotel you've been sitting here for a while, as he can clearly see the two cups of Starbucks in front of me, so I reply, "I'm a patron of Starbucks." He then goes well how long have you been sitting here there's a time limit to being in the lobby. So I ask how long is the time limit because this is NOT my first time being here and there has NEVER been a "time limit" before he then tells me he'd let me know after going to check with the cashier to confirm whether or not I was a real customer because I must've stolen the cups from the register that he apologizes for his assumption I wasn't a customer people come here to sit in the lobby just to drink water.... to which I don't respond. Trump hasn't even been in office a whole half day and people are already racially profiling African Americans like this is Alabama in 1965. Don't come here. This Starbucks is a disgrace..... We walked in at the middle of the day on a Tuesday. There was one guest in front of us, that's it. Somehow it took 15 mins to make one drink and then they didn't know who had paid and who hadn't. All I could do was sit down and laugh at the situation. Not only is this Starbucks the slowest I have EVER been to but I had to make sure I paid for my drink since the staff didn't have a clue!!! I will advise my other employees to NEVER come here again. Don't go! If you go don't expect them to care if your order is right. The employee at the counter barely acknowledged me, barely listened and when she passed my order on to the barista wrong I tried to correct her and she said 'don't worry she's got it!' This is one of the better Starbuck's that I have been into recently. The staff here were very friendly and sociable. I don't know what they look for exactly when Starbucks hires it staff but they usually do pretty good. I am always impressed by how friendly and sociable the staff are at most of the Starbucks that I have been into. I tried something new when I visited this Starbucks, I got this new frapuccino they have out now but I can't remember the name,LOL. It was a coconut chocolate mocha something or other, I think they are only having them for a limited time so I decided to try that instead of my standard white chocolate mocha and I wasn't disappointed, it was awesome. They have tables outside here so it's a great place for people watching if you want to sit down and have something to drink and watch the world go by. read more

I stayed at the Westin hotel for about half a week and went to this Starbucks each morning. But only because I had no choice other than this one. The barista only filled only 7/10 of the venti cup so I felt like I wasn't getting my money's worth. Also, she was very messy. She just pumped caramel into my caramel mocchiato carelessly and the coffee just spewed everywhere. I usually come to this Starbucks before work and that's what I did this morning. I approached the cashier and said "Goodmorning!" And she just gave me this glare and waited for me to order. I told her what I wanted to order and she said "sure". The entire transaction she was incredibly rude for no reason that was apparent to me. I stayed at the Westin for a five day conference and frequented the Starbucks several times per day. The staff served everyone as efficiently as they could, despite the huge crowds and craziness over football playoffs weekend! They even kept it open longer on Saturday night as we were all begging for food, because the restaurant and bar were way too crowded. It seemed the hotel wasn't prepared for crowds but the Starbucks handled the overflow very well. Kudos to all the staff who pitched in and helped!
