I have enjoyed visiting this location three times a week for several years. I work in an office building roughly 1/4 mile from this Starbucks and stop by whenever I am working from my office. Before today, service was friendly and my order was always right. Never a problem - it was a really well run store with great employees. Today was different. The employee working the drive-thru was angry (not sure why) but he made no effort to conceal it in his voice. My order was incorrect and service at the window was rushed and rude. I had never seen this employee before so I wondered if he was new and overwhelmed. I talked to the manager and he was disinterested. No apology. Weirdly rude service! Pulled up to the drive-thru in a good mood, very nicely and normally greeted the intercom employee, and when I got up to the register, he said "you know a bell dings when you pull up, you don't need to yell at me." If you're reading this confused - yeah, me too. Not sure what prompted the attitude, but it was definitely a strange and off-putting interaction. I met with a buddy of mine and covered serious and light topics and felt like we were given adequate space to express ourselves and enjoy conversation Without offending or dominating the environment. While I was driving on I-285 today (early Saturday afternoon), R ordered me a cold Dragonfruit drink for me and a hot caramel macchiato for himself using the Starbucks app. Only 5 minutes away, I drove to this Starbucks location, conveniently located right off I-285 at Powers Ferry and Northside, and parked in the spacious free parking lot for this standalone business. Our drinks were ready for pickup before we even walked into the store, and were perfectly made. The employees were very efficient in helping walk in and drive through customers. I like the interior of this Starbucks because it seems very welcoming and it has many tables and chairs for customers to sit and enjoy their food and drinks, and many of the tables have electrical outlets in the center of the tables. There is even an shaded outdoor patio just outside the front door. I love getting the Dragonfruit drink because it's a refreshing, slightly sweetened drink with coconut milk and little chunks of dragonfruit in it. Love the quick service, the courteous employees and the perfectly made drinks. Plus it's so close to the interstate that it's quick to get to this Starbucks and then back onto the interstate. In Atlanta for work, this Starbucks is across from my hotel is a big thumbs down. 1st day I went in with a coworker and ordered a drink it took me literally 23 minutes to get my drink and it was maybe 5 customers including myself. Today I went there I learned from yesterday and pre ordered before I left the hotel and my drink still wasn't ready. My coworker ordered his drink walking up to the store about 7 minutes after me and walked in and got his drink before I did. We both ordered online he came after me and both day he was in and out. I don't know what the problem is but they are the worst starbucks I have been to with service. read more

They do a great job with the service here even if they might not always be fully staffed. Libby is typically the shift leader when I come in and she is amazing. I'm not one to venture into Starbucks that often, although I love good coffee. My short staffed run crew wanted to head here for breakfast the other day after our run, since it's so close to Cochran Shoals. It's a little hard to get into and sits off Powers Ferry Rd near Northside Dr. Parking was very limited. If you're trying to find this place off 285, it can be a little inconvenient to get to, depending on which direction you're coming from. They offer up a drive thru, outdoor covered seating and a modernized interior. They have some very comfy chairs (cushioned bottoms at least) for the tables, reclined cushioned chairs for those "doing work" and long cushioned bench seating. I really liked the inside and decor of the place. The tables also provide outlets in the center for power to your laptop, phone or whatever needs charging. I ordered up a Grande Caramel Dulce Latte and a Double Smoked Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissantwich. Wait time didn't take too long, and service was ok. My latte was good and didn't need any extra sugar or cream. Didn't taste the caramel though. My breakfast was way more bland than I could have ever imagined. The bacon didn't have flavor to it, which killed the rest. I should have known better, and just gotten one of their muffins. I wouldn't advise getting it. More than likely we'll be back here again in the future, but not really a place I'm going to just seek out. Certainly good for the coffee and the atmosphere though. read more

This branch was across the street from the hotel I was staying at which was very convenient. I went in to grab a mango dragonfruit to get my day started. The environment was very nice like every other Starbucks coffee shop. It was very clean. The workers were pleasant and attentive. However, I do believe it took entirely too long for the drink order to be made. I waited maybe 15 minutes which I understand doesn't seem to long. However, there weren't many ppl in at the time. It pains me to say, but this is by far the worst Starbucks location I've ever been to. I was SO stoked when it opened because the location is ideal for someone living just a mile down Akers Mill Road. But after several bad experiences there, I just make the extra drive out to the next closest locations. I gave them the benefit of being a new store in the fall of 2017, but it's been a few months now with no signs of improvement. Their offenses: - Burning cheese danishes. - Messing up the simple order of grande iced latte with sweetener. Yep, no fancy milks, pumps, additions. They messed THAT up. - Taking 10 minuets plus on most orders, if there's any semblance of a line inside. Taking 5+ if you're the only one ordering. - Wanna avoid that by going drive thru? Even slower. Wanna skip the line and use the mobile app to order ahead? It won't be ready anyways. - Not redeeming my free stars beverage and instead charging my app the price of the drink. Yes, I know to "let my barista know that I'm redeeming stars." Still didn't help. So there you go, just the reasons I can think off the top of my head. I didn't even add the failings they had for boo when she went there. Please, SB headquarters, step in here and do something. Walked over from the Wyndham Atlanta Galleria, where we are staying for a Volleyball Tournament, to get coffees for our family and pick up and online order for another family. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by several friendly faces. We told them about the online order and they were out of one of the drinks. Steven let us know that he could do several different drink combos to substitute for the white mocha. He was very pleasant and quick to make us a fantastic coffee to take the place of the one ordered online. We placed the rest of our order, they whole staff completed our order quickly and we were out the door in less than 10 minutes. We really appreciate Steven and the entire Starbucks crew for being so friendly and efficient, it is nice to see so many friendly faces when you are so far away from home. read more

Before I get into this review, there is literally nothing I need to say about my order. I got a holiday spice flat white, and I got my girlfriend a java chip frappuccino. There was nothing wrong with either beverage. This place gets 1 star because it is the slowest, most frustrating Starbucks location I've ever been to. Here are the issues; 1) There's not enough parking, and adding parking at all would be virtually impossible without terraforming the land around it. That would be fine, except this Starbucks is clearly a location that invites people to sit and relax for a while. You're lucky if you have 3 open parking spots, beyond handicap spaces and the two "employee" parking spots. (Seriously? Employee parking spots?) 2) The staff is slow. There's a little screen by the drive-thru window where they show cars in line and how long they've been waiting. I saw one poor customer who waited over 11 minutes before finally receiving their order and moving along. That's flat unacceptable. 3) Because of the slow drive-thru line, it wraps around the building. The parking lot is relatively narrow, so you'll often find yourself completely stuck in a slow-moving drive-thru line that you simply can't get around. 4) If you can actually find a place to park, be prepared to spend 5-10 minutes waiting on your order. The staff simply isn't quick enough to accommodate the foot traffic. The sad part is, I don't see any way around this. You can't change the lay of the land, and hiring more employees would only create chaos behind the counter. Thankfully there are plenty of Starbucks locations nearby. I'll just stick to those. read more

Right down the street from my home, I usually try and treat myself to a coffee from here once a week and they consistently mess up my order at the drive thru. Even simple stuff like a cold brew with almond milk! It feels like they've gotten worse in recent months, but I keep hoping they'll improve which is why I keep giving them a chance. I am in town visiting I checked my Starbucks app and it said this Starbucks opened at 5 am, since there was a dusting of snow I waited till 7 am and walked to this Starbucks. When I arrived there were 4 gentleman waiting at the door, I asked if they were having a good morning, and they said, they were waiting to go inside but a hand written sign on the door said they will be opening at 7:30. Now mind you we all walked there and it's 19 degrees outside. One of the gentleman walked up to the drive thru window and asked if we could just come inside we would wait to order, the girl rolled her eyes and shut the window... ??? I guess that's ok cause she's not freezing in 19 degrees right? At 7:30 a young man opens the door opposite of where now SIX people are standing ( cause that made all the sense in the world....right??!) Every time I go to this location, they are out of an item. It was been at least 4 times now. 3 times out of double bacon Gouda sandwiches and today out of oatmeal. Then asked for pumpkin scone. Out of that too!! It's 9am! Very disappointed in this new Starbucks and their inventory levels. Staff never offers to comp anything even though they are out of items. They seem unapologetic. Sad. Their workers are very hard working and polite. It took a little while to order but my food and drink came pretty fast. The drink definitely took a little longer than the food but it was a normal wait and I was not extremely bothered. This location is usually very packed and crowded (not their fault) and the lines can get very long. Overall it was an average experience but I cannot do without Starbucks lol! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This location can never get my order correct. Today at the counter I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich to go. When I got to work, I had a chicken sausage, bacon, and pepper cheese biscuit. Problem: First, I didn't order it. Second, I am allergic to dark meat of chicken, which this patty is made of.
