Such a wonderful Starbucks! It's clean, cozy, and comfortable inside, with genuinely friendly people who make you feel welcome. It's the kind of place you want to settle into, enjoy your beverage, and spend some time. I've visited quite a few Starbucks locations, and this one really stands out. This is what the Starbucks experience looks like to me, and this location delivers it. Highly recommend! read more

Staff is friendly and attentive. Store is clean and well-maintained. The downside is noise and the nearby school population invades overwhelming the place dozens of junior high kids and their boisterous dramas. Also I'm not sure the staff is fully conscious of how much noise they make. They bang a lot of metal pans on the noise can be charring at times if you're quiet environment, this may not be for you. read more

If I could give this Starbucks 0 I would. To say it sucked is an understatement. I ordered a latte and a coffee cake. Keep in mind they were both in stock on the app. I got my latte when expected, which by the way tasted mediocre. I end up waiting over 10 minutes for my coffee cake, at which point I go up to ask a barista. She replies saying she doesn't know what to tell me, and I should just wait longer. I am obviously not going to do that because at this point it is clear they don't know what's going on. I proceed to ask the lady working at the food station and she says "oh we tried to find you because coffee cake is out". First of all they made no efforts to find me, and I had been there long before my drink came out. I ended up just leaving because this place was a shit show and no amount of busyness should result in incompetence. read more

The barista who made our drinks was great, our drinks tasted amazing and were made correctly. Unfortunately, we had to wait a while because he was quite overwhelmed with the amount of drinks due to the fact that the other barista on staff was doing nothing & was leaning on the counter on her phone, and verbally refused to help her coworker when he asked for it. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks in the Arlington area. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and I've never needed to ask staff to remake a drink. Everything's been great first time around! (That's in contrast to the other Lee Highway shop where drinks are frequently wrong.) Last time I was here, I asked for a good drink to combat a cough, and the barista recommended the honey citrus mint tea, which hit the spot! That's my new favorite drink for whenever I'm under the weather. Thank you to all of the fantastic baristas at Lee Heights! read more

Not sure how long this Starbucks has been around - I've never noticed it before - but it was in the perfect location as I was returning to the office from a visit in downtown DC. There is not much parking out front. But don't let that stop you - simply pull around to the back side of the building. Plenty of parking available there - as well as a rear entrance into Starbucks. This is not a large Starbucks, but there is some seating and it has a comfy vibe to the place. There is also outdoor seating out back on the covered patio. Ordered my usual iced triple shot latte - half skim/half whole milk. Drink was strong, tasty, and delicious! Hit the spot and gave my brain cells exactly what they were craving! The folks working here were friendly and efficient! read more

PROs: -Super welcoming to the children from the nearby St. Agnes Catholic School. (Very smart, since they will likely end up being long-term customers.) -Great location. -Clean inside and outside. -Nice, quiet rear patio. -Friendly staff. CONs: -Like most coffee shops during the morning rush, they could be faster during peak times. read more

This the season for peppermint, gingerbread and PSLs ! The parking on Lee Hwy is always packed so you're better off parking in the back where there is plenty of parking. Don't worry because there is a door in the back so you don't have to walk around to the front. The lines can be long but the baristas do a great job of getting the line moving. The pastries always look fresh and the location is clean. There's plenty of seating and free Wifi. It's what you want a Starbucks to be. read more

Garrett is awesome. So friendly and helpful. Thanks! Good service. Timely. Lots of turnover at this location. But they do a good job on training. read more

Always seating for my laptop time. Always friendly staff that is social and actually seems to care about neighborhood. May take an extra minute or two for a coffee. Enjoy the extra wait by practicing mindfulness or scroll your instagram feed or something. Has nice covered patio seating in the back as well. Been here about 10 times in 2017 so far and plan on about 30 by the end of year. They have a secret menu item called the charlie! It is half coffee and a shot of espresso with heavy cream and a shot of whipped cream on top all served over ice with two pumps simple syrup. Amazing! read more

I should have read the reviews before going to this location this morning. If I could give it a zero, I would. I ordered a soy vanilla latte. Barista was slow as molasses and made all the drinks ordered after mine first. By the time I got my drink I had to book it out of there because I was running late. When I finally took a sip, I noticed it didn't taste like it usually does... That's because the Barista didn't put any espresso in the drink! I paid for a soy latte and got warm soy milk . Don't bother going to this location. It's not worth the trouble. read more

Ok this place is consistently pissing me off. I only ever order just a cup of coffee or a red eye (coffee and espresso). They never ask for my name, so if the place is full and the counter is crowded (which it always is) then they just place my drink up there and that's it. Bother yourself to ask each customer their name and use your big boy voice to shout that bitch out. read more

I've now gone to this location every Saturday for the last month before 8 am, and every single time it is messy and disorganized. I ordered one of my favorite drinks, a flat white, and it was 50% foam. I scooped out as much of the foam as I could with my lid and asked the barista to fill it with more milk as this particular drink is only supposed to have a dollop of foam on the top (flat means no foam). She agreed, but didn't aerate the milk properly and now my beverage tastes scalded. She was distracted, carrying on a conversation with another barista, but I paid for this beverage. Make it correctly! The baristas seem nice enough and friendly, however I find that every time I go, regardless of the beverage, it's made improperly and I have to ask for a remake. I could understand if there was a line out of the door, but I was the only customer in the store. Perhaps a review for the baristas on bar on how to properly make the beverages listed on their menu, or at the very least, a review on how to properly aerate the milk for their various beverages. I'll still frequent this location as it is within walking distance to my home, but I will only order coffee or tea at this location. Much harder to mess up. read more

Worked at Starbucks before. This place used to be quite solid. Now, it's terrible. If they could hire people who weren't high while working bar (hot/cold drinks)that'd be great. My drinks (and I'm aware of the flow behind the counter + how mobile orders make this system intolerable) come out poorly, every time I order. With the right crew, efficiency would be easy- it seems like they'll hire whoever. I'm sure some of the baristas are fine but most I've talked to/ prepared my beverages are clueless. Shame. read more

This is my favorite starbucks for so many reasons. Don't be fooled by the photo on here, the back has a large covered patio and big parking lot. The inside is a little small, but I prefer to sit outside, unless it's too hot. The baristas are really nice and totally remember the regulars. They give free samples of food and new drink creations... and they are usually super fast. I always see my neighbors there, which is a good sign. Clean store and always friendly people. Mega YES. - Free wifi of course - Plugs available (only one outside though) - Comfy chairs or tables - Front outside seating, back outside seating - Clean - Parking easy - Awesome staff. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks that's is near my school, which is Marymount University. I always love getting an iced vanilla latte with almond or soy. It always taste good to me. I have no complaints with that! read more

I'm not normally a fan of Starbucks but hey, the family gives me a giftcard every Christmas, they are everywhere and this past weekend the barista actually gave me a free shot of espresso, turning my Red Eye into a Black Eye. First free thing I'd every gotten from the Bucks. This Starbucks is a little less crowded than the more heavily trafficked franchises in Arlington, and the best on the weekends when folks are trying to get their jolt before work. read more

SLOW!!!!!Only 2 customers in line including myself...one register they were training and the other one he took 10 minutes on his order

We stop here anytime we're early for an appointment in North Arlington. A mid-sized Starbucks. Only have two comfy chairs. 3-4 outdoor tables with chairs. Not the cleanest one I've been to but the people have always been nice. Bathrooms are tucked away in the back. Both are gender neutral. read more

While not my first choice for a-cuppa-Joe, they have decent muffins and a good staff. These kids are a lot friendlier than their sister down the hill. Thanks for the service and the caffeine buzz. read more

I live near here and come here from time to time. Today the barista, a lad named Brandon, took my order. Complete douche. He made a wise ass comment to me while I was placing my order. No need for that. Don't be a jerk, dude. read more

Great place to get a cup of coffee. The line moves pretty fast and there is usually room to seat as well. The location is nice as well

Friendly and efficient. This might be the nicest Starbucks in Arlington VA if not Northern Virgina. The staff treated me so courteously; I am making this my favorite Starbucks. And I prefer Caribou or Greenberry's coffee . . . . Thanks for the conspicuous courtesy and the Vanilla Soy. Made my day. read more

they're supposed to be open until 7 pm and i ordered ahead around 5:45 and i got there at 6:00 and the doors were locked but there were people in there working doing absolutely nothing, while people were waiting outside for their orders. i didn't get my 20$ order. i hope they fire whoever was working there because my little brother is very sick and this drink is the only way i could get him to do his school work and go to his doctor's appointments. this isn't a joke and i've never been so dissatisfied by a starbucks. maybe if they didn't hire teenagers who close the place down to smoke there wouldn't be a problem. read more

The seating at this Starbucks isn't the greatest. The organization isn't the greatest and the music is very loud. The parking is decent during certain hours. The employees are great though but this isn't my favorite Starbucks location! read more

Glad to see some new faces here on a Saturday...line moved fast, order taker was polite and efficient, barista seemed new, but made a good GB latte'. Best of all the behind the counter chatter was markedly less...the staff obviously were working to meet customer needs! read more

Finally, and thank god, Starbucks finally built a store within walking distance to our Arlington home--and better yet, its an AWESOME place with a really COOL staff. I've held business meetings there. My husband is a regular in the mornings and gets in an out quickly with no hassle or wait. They have outside seating in front and back of store, which makes it great for good weather and people with dogs. I'm always greeted nicely by real folks behind bar, have been offered an extra free shot more than once--a nice "perk"--and they keep the place very clean and tidy. Food is always well stocked also, which seems to be an issue with some of the other surrounding Starbucks in area. My only wish is they would take over more of the block of stores around it and expand their inside comfy seating areas, but hey, one can dream right? This is definitely the best Starbucks in the area. read more

Disorganized Starbucks on Leigh Highway in Arlington, Va. The barista hustled, but the one cashier was slow and uncommunicative. At one point, I was confused whether they even knew I ordered an oatmeal. It finally did arrive. Not my typical Starbucks experience. read more

Don't know why I do it to myself! This location sucks!!! This is not the first time and I know it's my fault for going back, but it's literally right next to where I live. Just spent 45mins waiting for a drink and never got it because I had to get to work. read more

I love Starbucks and go there at least once but typically two time a day. However, this particular location has got to be the slowest Starbucks ever. With 5 employees working behind the counter, you'd think they could get through 3 orders, just orders not drink delivery, just the order and payment in less than 10 minutes. But they can't. I recommend more training for this location. read more

I finally had ordered enough Starbucks to get my first free drink (woohoo!) so I ordered a hot drink with soy milk, my usual, but this time, I added protein powder. I'd always wanted to try it and it was a free add-on so why not? The app said my drink would be ready in 3-8 minutes and with traffic, it probably took me 15 minutes. So I was 7-12 minutes late based on their estimated window. It was on me so I wasn't going to complain if my coffee wasn't piping hot or anything but the young male barista was rude and really off-putting. He made eye contact with me when I went in and looked for my drink on the counter. But once I gave him my name and drink order, he didn't even look at me, kept on working and said 'You're late. It's been ready for a long while' with SO much attitude. Well, per the app, I may have only been 7 minutes late; 12 if the baristas were extra fast. So I don't know what the big deal was! Aside from leaving Starbucks with a bad taste in my mouth from the barista's mood, my drink was really gritty. I couldn't drink it without swallowing chunks of something, so I stopped drinking it until I got home. I poured it into a bowl at home and something had congealed in my drink. I took photos on my phone so I'll try to post them. It had to have been the protein powder but I don't know why Starbucks would offer protein powder if they know it'll congeal in your coffee after 15 minutes. Blech. Needless to say, I won't be frequenting this Starbucks again. read more
