There are a few tables inside and outside, but it's pretty loud/busy so I don't think I would stay here to work. Every time I go here I get what I ordered. No complaints about the drinks. The staff is friendly and will make small talk most of the time while waiting for your drink. They are always happy to give my son some whipped cream in a small cup too. Only complaint is that they turn off mobile ordering some times, so if I wanted to order ahead and run inside to grab it I couldn't. Other than that it's great! read more

Long wait, especially if you order food. As good as expected, but I feel that it's not good enough to wait for when their drive through line starts to pour out onto the street. I can't begin to tell you how awesome this location is!!!! I ordered two drinks around 4:30 in the drive thru line, there was a bit of a line but this location is always busy. I pulled up and Nate asked me how I was doing and was the nicest. I just want to say in times like these it was nice being greeted with friendly eyes and a nice greeting. My drink was taking a few minutes to make and Nate offered me a free drink for my wait. It was pleasant surprise and he didn't have to do that. read more

Well I finally stopped by here for coffee after driving by this location hundreds of times. I went though the drive-thru here which appears to be more popular than going into the actual building at this location. The menu is well detailed and has a ton of food items to satisfy an empty stomach. The drive-thru line is always busy from what I've seen driving by so often, but the wait is not long at all. We both got iced macchiatos and it was cool and refreshing after a big lunch. Staff member was friendly, another good Starbucks location. read more

The barristas here are so friendly!!! The lines get super long especially near morning rush and lunch, but they all work to try and get your order made as fast as possible. The staff is great at recommending products or telling you about current drinks, food and promotions. My order has always been correct and always with a smile. This is a super convenient locaiton right off of Delaware. The shop and cafe area is always clean and well stocked. Use your Starbucks card to earn free drinks!!! read more

I never complain at any Starbucks. But today, I ordered the Turkey Rustico Panini, and a Grande decaf iced americano from the drive-thru. The americano turned out fine. The Turkey Rustico panini, on the other hand, was disappointing. All of the turkey was out of the sandwich. And they didn't give me any napkins. I had to stuff the turkey in between the bread, and now my hands are gross!! Is this McDonald? Seriously!! This kind of stuff shouldn't be happening at Starbucks! read more

One of the best run Starbucks I have seen in my travels across country. Though there is a set system in place and they all should be able to do the same. The triple venti Tiramisu extra hot and no whip always correctly done. To watch the baristas work make you wonder how they are not running into each other during busy times. If not already, this should be a training store for they have figured out the way to efficiently get orders right and your drink out correct and fast. A+++++ read more

I come here every morning. The service is fast and accurate and friendly. I always get a large cup of fresh brewed Pike blend coffee. The tables and chairs and floors are clean. The bathrooms are spotless. This is the place I sit and drink my morning coffee and plan my day. I highly recommend it. read more

In many ways, all Starbucks locations are meant to feel indistinguishable. The music is the same, the comfy chairs, and obviously, the beverages being served. In that sense: if you've seen one, you've seen them all. Yet the Ankeny location is good nonetheless! My favorite barista rarely works, but her name is Jen and she wears glasses and she is always helpful and knowledgeable. I'm a big fan of her work (all her drinks taste good!) If I could "like" her on Facebook, I would. Alas, she doesn't have a page and it would be creepy for me to create one. Update: they recently remodeled and no longer have comfy chairs. Devastated! Now I must sit atop a metal chair whilst I read my literature. read more

I stopped by this location after getting a drink that didn't taste right in Ames because they were using store bought coconut milk instead of Starbucks brand. Sarah politely explained the coconut milk shortage because of the "pink drink" fad She was SUPER friendly and helpful. She got me a different drink and I left very happy! A+ service! read more

I often stop in for a mocha while driving back and forth between MN an KS. It is in an area that is a nice half way point and offers gas, a ton of food options, and coffee! The service is always very fast no matter how busy they may seem. I am not positive of their hours but they are always open no matter how late I have stopped in so I am always pleasantly surprised! read more

I stop at this Starbucks on my way to see my grandma in northeastern Iowa, it's the most convenient place to stop off of I-35 and the staff is always very nice. There is a drive thru but I'm usually on a long trip so I don't mind getting out of the car. It's always expedient though, I've never had to wait in line once. read more

Starbucks coffee and other drinks have a reputation of their own, so I'd like to comment on the service I receive when I run through the drive-thru before work in the mornings. Every employee I have encountered has been cheerful and kind and my drink is always promptly out the window into my hand. The longest I've had to wait is probably 4 minutes. That's peachy.
