One of the dirtiest and most poorly maintained Starbucks I've visited in a long time. Trash and flies everywhere. Would not revisit.

I was traveling through the area and was in need of a coffee fix; I knew it was going to be busy, as they had 20 cars in the drive thru lane, which wrapped around the building. I went inside and there was no line. I ordered quickly - cascara cold brew and venti Green tea. After about 20 minute wait, someone mentioned that they were out of green tea and asked me if I would be okay with white - sure. Everyone was hustling to get stuff done, but it was chaotic and I could see there were many drink mistakes being made. After waiting so long for their beverage, most people opted to take them "as is" instead of waiting an extra 20 minutes for the correct version of their beverage choice. In summary - not the best Starbucks, but not the worst. But possibly, the longest I've ever waited before. The people were kind, and the girl named Katie who was making Frapps was knocking them out with such sheer tenacity and finesse despite being surrounded by utter chaos. Kudos to that kid! read more

Slowest Starbucks on the planet. 25+ minutes for a single drink order at 3:30PM ON A FRIDAY. Never again.

Slow slow slow. Prepare to wait 15 minutes for your drink when only 3 customers are ahead of you. This place has been this slow and inefficient for years now. read more

Well it's Friday night I am doing some late night studying planning my day for tomorrow and my usual routine. I try to get to this Starbucks around 7:30ish in the AM...that way I have time to get to work at 8am. There is a reason while I am setting this up like this, I want the Starbucks great service I hear about so much, the personal hello and smile. The warm fuzzy feeling, from getting my $5 coffee. That feeling is not here at this location. The direct connection between customer and Batista is not here, you see some attempts, but that just falls on deaf hears because you know the dude behind the counter is this guys mom best friend or neighbor. Ordered hot dark roast. It was lukewarm and didn't taste fresh brewed. If it wasn't fresh just tell me I would have ordered something else. Had to go back to hotel and microwave it. I could have gotten that at the truck stop ugh! read more

This location is seriously the worst Starbucks I have ever visited. The worst service...slow, not friendly. Sat in line Sunday evening for over 20 minutes. Evidently they did not get order correct for the car ahead of us. So that delayed line further. Finally got to window. Could see our drinks. Employee did not look our way. Tried to get his attention but still ignored. Had an event in 10 minutes so drive out without our drinks. Service is always slow here. Employees are never friendly. Polite but that's all. And the inside is not the cleanest either. read more

I like this Starbucks location. I visit frequently on my way to work in the mornings and sometimes in the evenings when I want a break from the house. The staff is always friendly. Coffee and pastries are always fresh and tasty. The Drive Thru can be a hassle in the mornings if they are busy. Most staff members try to remember not only your drink preference but your name, which makes waiting for coffee a much more enjoyable experience in the mornings if you aren't a morning person. In the evenings the place is steady with college students doing homework and couples visiting which keeps the atmosphere fresh compared to the dull and slow business people are used to here. read more

Usually try and give everywhere another chance, and I've given here multiple tries. Sometimes are better than others but today was my last straw. My mom and I came through the line and everything seemed great but once we got up to the window the guy was literally shoving the drinks out the window to where I had to hurry and grab them. As soon as I grabbed my drink (Pink drink) I noticed it wasn't even filled to the top, then my mom got hers and took a sip and had to go add more cinnamon to hers (Cinnamon Shortbread Latte) And once she opened hers it was a quarter of the way already down. All they asked was if she wanted to add whole milk to hers? It's a hot coffee and that much milk would literally change the drink completely. I don't know, I want to like this place because the location is so convenient for me and it's been the Starbucks my mom and I have always gone to but I feel over time they've just gone down hill, or just don't care. Slowest Starbucks ever! We waited in the drive thru line for over 30 minutes. I was just shocked at how low the standards were at this location. I was visiting family for the holidays - this is not where I normally go for my Starbucks fix - but it's the longest I've ever had to wait at any location. They said they were, "backed up". Only because it's inconsistent. Located close to the mall the traffic and long wait are inevitable. Barnes and Noble is close by and offer most of the same products for about the same cost. Less of a wait though. read more

It's a Starbucks. The coffee is good and the baristas have always been pleasant. Sometimes it can be a little slow, but what can you expect when you have people in front of you ordering for their entire office or church group. The layout is strange in the Starbucks. There is not much room for patrons while ordering and forget about getting to the bathroom on a busy day. What matters most is that my drink is made properly and it always is. Cheers. read more

The employees at Starbucks should know how to make basic coffees. Ordered two ice vanilla coffees with cream. The guy looked at me puzzled. He asked if I wanted an Americano. Told him I wanted two ice vanilla coffees with cream. After about a five minute wait I got them hot. They remade it and came back looking like milk. And this point I was gonna take it but the person with me was pissed so we sent them back again. And the person in front of us wasn't happy either which makes me think this is a recurring theme. read more

Coffee is fine, as long as I don't think about how filthy this place was. Flies all in the bathrooms, all over the pastries in the display it's always super busy there, but dang, let's get some more people on shift to clean that place up or have new management come in. read more

Best Starbucks in town! Everyone that works here is so nice. Shawn in by far my favorite barista and makes the perfect Cinnamon Dolce Latte.

I came there today and asked for 2 brownies WARMED, I asked for a mango dragon fruit they said they didn't have the fruit, so we something else and then go to get our order and my brownies were NOT WARMED, I specifically asked for warmed brownies. This is not a bad bad review I just think they should pay attention more, also they didn't know whether they had the stuff or not they had to constantly go and see if they had the things. read more

They were out of soy milk in the middle of the day!!(unheard of ever! ) And they were out of cup holders that prevents burns from hot cups. Really?!? That's very risky! I was only passing through but it just didn't seem like a Starbucks to me. read more

The flies are out of control. This is an infestation of flies. There has to be maggots and larva living in something. The service has never been very good at this location either. Very disappointed and couldn't even sit inside for a meeting because of the fly infestation. This place is a really BAD example of what Starbucks represents as a company. I was just passing through Amarillo,TX on cross country drive to GA. I stopped in to get a coffee and to stretch my legs. When I stepped up to the counter, I wasn't greeted. It took about 5 minutes for an employee to talk to me. One employee actually had to mention to the one employee working the register to help me. When "Farles" approached me, he appeared dirty. He kept scratching his head while speaking to me- I couldn't help but think that his filthy fingers would be making my drink. He asked me "What do you want?"- which is rude within itself. And I replied "a grande hot coffee". I patiently waited for him to type in the order and waited for him ask if that was all or if I needed anything else. Instead, he stared blankly at me. Then, I started to tell him my second drink order where he scoffed and rolled his eyes at me. I explained I'm getting two -one for me and my boyfriend. Then with a snarky tone he said, "I am just trying to figure out if your are ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE that acts like their order is finished but then ends up having 5 drinks." I was so shocked how impolite and tactless he was. I finished my order and walked away. I understand everyone has bad days , but I've never had bad customer service like this at sbux. Customer service has always been their strong suit. It is clear this individual lacks the communication skills required when working in a customer centered environment. Servers were pleasant but service was very slow. I was third in line and it took almost 25 minutes for my drink to be ready. This happens consistently here. If you are in a rush and hoping to duck in and duck out you should try another Starbucks. read more

We're driving by Amarillo and I need my Starbucks. First of all seems that they don't have many Starbucks here in Amarillo, it took me awhile to find this one, the closest one out of the highway. This is by far the slowest Starbucks I have ever gone to and I go to Starbucks all the time. Even when it's not very busy it still takes on average about 20 minutes to get your order. Forget mobile ordering, that takes twice as long as they estimate. This Starbucks is in desperate need of new management or just better training. Not to mention the hoards of flies that are always in the store. You would think that with all the complaints they would actually make some changes but doesn't look like it. read more

they are out of everything. me and my sister went in this morning to get our coffee and coffee for our family and they just kept telling us how they couldn't make any of our coffees. we are all extremely mad and just wanted our coffee like we always get it. and on top of all of that they still charged us for them! and they take forever to make the coffee anyways we sat in line forever! i don't recommend ever going to this Starbucks! there's a better one on Georgia. or you could always go to roasters on soncy is better anyways! well y'all have a nice day like i won't because starbucks screwed up my coffee. read more

I have had it with this place! The drinks have been consistently terrible for the last two years! They argue and don't want to honor there own specials. On my last visit the guy working tried to tell me the bogo deal they sent to me through email and text did not work on the fraps I had just ordered. Then upon showing him my phone that it indeed did, he still argued, left me waiting then came back and said it was the wrong day, again I showed him that it was the right day! He tried to argue that it's not that day on "there" calendar... what? Then slams the window and leaves me there after I paid with no drinks! Another girl comes and rudely asks how can she help me and I said you can give me the two frappes you walked up and set on the counter over 10 mins ago now! And yes it was like drinking chocolate milk water, pretty sure they skipped the coffee all together and they had no ice in them at all! This exactly how every visit has gone for a long time!!! Go to Dunkin' Donuts! Much cheaper far better and friendly people, they always give you the deals they have going and you don't even have to ask;) read more

This is by far the worst Starbucks I've been to. The servers are pleasant enough, if not a little too distracted by their conversations amongst one another. They are insanely disorganized though, and it took me 30 minutes to get a grande pike. It's the most basic thing they serve! I would steer clear. There's a Roasters right down the street. Go there instead and support a local business. read more

Had a quite fantastic experience here. The baristas all took an swift and earnest approach to completing my order even though it was busy. We had a problem with one of the sandwiches and Lauren happily took care of us and made sure we left satisfied. Will definitely stop by on my way back through Amarillo! read more
