Zero stars!!! For a long time I was taking my golden retriever Sammy with Shiela at Starbucks grooming in the same plaza, I have several issues there but always decided to take Sammy because she loved Shiela. The last time I took Sammy to Shiela she wasn't there however the owner of the business took her and when I picked her up Sammy was crying like I never seen her cry as soon as she saw me it wasn't over excitement once I got home I noticed a big puddle of blood and Sammy wasn't acting herself. I realized she had been badly injured when I assessed her paws I noticed the bleeding was coming from her nail. I took her to the Vet where I had a bill of $900 dollars to treat her cut and stop the bleeding as well as antibiotics the owner never told me about this happening when I contacted Starbucks the owner was well aware and apologized immediately and offered free service when I took her for her free service he had a nasty attitude and pretended to not know what I was talking about he was very rude and I refused to leave Sammy I told him I would let everyone know about his nasty behavior and he said he didn't care! While I was there he was working on a golden doodle I notice how badly he was treating the dog! Please be aware of this place I know now why my baby hated going there!! I was amazed to know there's a new spot that just opened up in the same plaza The Hair of the dog pet spa his name is Marcelo and from the moment we got there Sammy loved him and walked herself in something she never did before at Starbucks grooming! Please check out the new spot you won't regret it I was very happy with the service Marcelo gave her she looked beautiful!!

I'm very shocked/ in disbelief still that I went to this location and the lady in the front (not the one with the glasses) told me a lie. so my original groomer relocated around that area Literally across from them) and I was kind and curious because he's always there. I asked her where he was she stood there and told me he was there earlier, but his back was hurting so he went home. I said wow ok. So I asked her the price, she told me, took my dog, and said she'll Let me know when she'll be ready. I sat in my car. I started to think back and remember that my groomer said by 7-11 so I looked to my left and there his place was. I rushed back inside the place and said wow why did you lie to me? she said I thought you were talking about my boss, I said no I specifically gave you his name and said that he was the owner, she said ok wow I'm sorry and gave me my dog back. They started the groom her already but did not charge, the ladies knew who I was talking about because they pointed at his place across the way I let him know and he was stunned himself. UNBELIEVABLE

Before the previous groomer fell ill, I took my poodle chi there for a bath and full trim. Always did a great job. I hope they find a groomer as good as Leslie. She is sorely missed.

There are many good things I would love to say. The groomers are so sweet and gentle to my puppy for his nail trim and buff. My puppy was happy and relaxed. Looking forward to continue taking my dog here for on going care and grooming services. They accept walk-ins and appointments as long as it is before noon. Prices are pretty straight forward. Services start nail trim at $15.

I am so grateful I found this place. After so much time putting off taking my Gina a bath with the hose since it's been cold. I decided to look for a grooming place to get it done and she could be comfortable. As soon as I called this business, Ms. Leslie answered and I told her what I needed for Gina. I was dreading that she would tell me an appointment was needed but instead she said, bring her over. I wasted no time and took her over. The best decision of my life. Although there were more pets that needed to get groomed, they took her in and returned her in no time. I picked her up looking and smelling her best. The staff was very nice and friendly. Definitely will be taking her in for every single bath.

I always take my dogs here. Leslie is amazing and always takes good care of my pups!! Today was my new puppies first groomers trip and she came out amazing! Thank you!

We have been going to Leslie for about 20 years, she's a wonderful groomer. She has groomed countless of very messy rescue/foster dogs for us, some which had never been groomed. She has always done a great job even if the dogs weren't very cooperative! We also take our own personal dogs to her. Thank you Leslie for all you do. p.s. Updated to include photos of our 3 dogs after their grooming.

I wrote this review only after I tried a different place for my dog's grooming work…read more I have a terrier which requires hand stripping - which is a unique grooming style for dogs have double-layered hair. I had this puppy for only several months old, and booked this place for grooming. The appointment was confirmed, and due to the staff /business owner who can do the work was on maternity leave, I had to waited for 2 months - which was ok, we could wait. But when the appointment was approaching, I was contacted for delaying the appointment for another month due to the staff needed more time for the leave. I was ok with that, and so another month to wait. One week before the appointment time, I was contacted again as the staff can't do the job on the agreed day, it had to be rescheduled again. I was patient enough for almost three month wait. But I felt not very respectful for the 3rd time change of my appointment time! I had to reschedule my time off to make it work. When I express my concerns of the time change, the message I got literally was " We don't need new customers honestly." Really?! I felt really bad but the short time change notice put me into a position that I didn't want to waste more time researching another place ( maybe I should). So I went and the hand stripping charges by hourly rate, usually takes 1-3 hours for the session. I had a small-medium size dog, it was our first time doing that, I had no expectations. But I didn't expect that they did took 3 full hours to do the job, so I was charged for 3 hours, plus the bath... I got a final bill of over $300!! And I felt the style was a bit off- I sent a photo to our breeder, she thought the same... So I tried a different place for my second time, just to compare with my 1st experience at Soggy Paws Pet Grooming. The final bill I got from a different place was only $165 - (and my dog is growing bigger, probably with much more hair to be stripped, and my dog looked great!!) So I think the business owner of Soggy is right: They don't need new customers! And I have found a better place to go after all. That is my experience with this place. Hope it is helpful.

I got belly rubs on demand, endless attention, playtime with new friends, and enough treats to make me question whether I should permanently relocate. Every time I walked in, the humans here knew my name and acted excited to see me -- which, as you can imagine, is exactly the level of celebrity treatment I deserve. The place was super clean, safe, and smelled surprisingly good for a building full of dogs making questionable life choices. My parents also loved getting updates and photos of me living my best life while they were away pretending to miss me. (Jasmine, Christina, Ericy, Iliana takes the best selfies of me!) By the time I got home, I was completely exhausted from all the fun, zoomies, and pampering from the staff. 10 out of 10 I would definitely board again and cannot wait until my next visit! However, it was a Saturday, and the actual holiday was not until Monday. Wanting to avoid another wasted trip, I called this morning to confirm that tours were being conducted and nothing was needed like an appointment. The person I spoke with confirmed that tours were available between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., which matches the information posted on your website. When I arrived, I was informed that I could not go on a tour because the manager was not there and had to take a dog to the veterinarian. Apparently, no other staff member was able to conduct a tour. However, nowhere on the website does it state that tours are dependent on a specific individual being present or that only the manager is authorized to conduct them. Had that information been disclosed, I could have avoided making a second unnecessary trip. When I explained to the front desk employee that I had specifically called this morning to confirm tours before making the drive, she suggested that I may have spoken with a call center because she had been the only person answering phones all morning. I clarified that I had been transferred directly to the South Bay/Carson location and confirmed that this was the location I called. She repeated that she had been the only person answering phones. I then asked what I could do differently next time, since this was now the second time I had been turned away despite following the information provided. Her advice was to call ahead and specifically ask for the South Bay location--which is exactly what I had already done. When I asked if there was a direct phone number for the location so I could avoid this issue in the future, I was told there wasn't one. At this point, I will not be returning. Being turned away twice despite making a good-faith effort to verify tour availability reflects a lack of organization, communication, and courtesy toward prospective clients. If a facility cannot provide consistent information to prospective customers, it raises concerns about reliability and the overall experience I could expect if I entrusted my dog to their care.
