Posting for my family member that i referred. Advertised prices on menu are incorrect. I took my dog for a clean up. He weighs roughly 10 lbs. They charged me $65 . We dropped him off at 9 am they said they closed at 3pm. We were home napping . They sent text messages saying if we didn't pick up our dog we were getting charged an additional $25. Its not posted anywhere that additional charges was an option. Our first time using them as we get our dog groomed every 3 weeks so not much to do but clean up. $90 for such little work and small dog. Our dogs rear end still had hair that was not trimmed. We were given high recommendations from our family but we will most likely go back to our groomer its worth the travel time. read more

Where do I start!? I am so happy to have found this spot. I took my Maltese mix "Kobe" for " the full treatment " because I had been away for surgery and his hair was super long and matted in some areas, the groomer was amazing, she was super friendly, with great energy and I immediately felt comfortable leaving my Kobe there. I arrived to pick him up, and I didn't even recognize my own dog! He looked so ADORABLE, smelled good and his demeanor was super happy. I will definitely go back to Buzz's on Carson & Figueroa. Figured it was about time I provided a review for this place. Been bringing my dog Destini here since they were originally located over on Vermont and Carson. I actually acquired Destini from the original shop about 4 years ago. Cathy has been her groomer as well as an awesome friend to us both for several years. She has a way with animals in general, they seem to flock to her and her customers follow her wjerever she goes, and I can totally understand why. The woman is awesome with animals, very professional and compassionate and gentle. I've only taken Destini to another groomer twice, and she was "okay" but I bring her to see Cathy and she's like. Pup in a treat shop (kid in a candy store) she loves the groomer and the staff as well. I've stayed and observed the grooming a few times and I'm amazed at how well Cathy handles both dogs and cats, years ofnezperience and expertise and it really shows in her work. You can totally see the passion she has when it comes to animals when she interacts with them. Betty, the owner of the shop is always very sweet whenever we come in and Destini doesnt hesitate to sgow her some puppy love when she sees her. If your in search of a particular food or treat, supplement and at a reasonable price I recommend stopping by. If ots out there shell find it for ya. My only problem here is when it comes time to leave, Destini wants to stay and hang out with the groomer, Cathy. Mom doesnt exist while she's visiitng her fvaorite groomer. I dont complain because I know she's well cared for while under the care of Buzz's. Come check out Buzz's for your grooming needs, Cathy gets pretty booked up so make sure she's available. This isn't the best groomer I've experienced. The first time I took my dog, he was in need of an immediate bath. I was told to bring him right in, and did. When I picked him up, he looked a little dull. He and I were full of loose hair/fur. He's a Yorkie and doesn't shed, so this was unusual. But, he smelled really good and I liked the cute little neck scarf on his neck. I took him back for a second visit, this time for a trim. I specifically explained to the groomer what areas and how I wanted them trimmed. My dog was still scruffy, dull, and full of loose hair when I picked him up. His butt area was not clean shaved like I asked. Even after sending him back, he was still sloppily done. His face and head were butchered and uneven everywhere. I was so upset and wondered how a groomer could be okay with his appearance after such a poor trim. I didn't trust sending him back so I paid, left, and will not be back!! My dog definitely did not look like the cute little Yorkie in the previous Yelp review. read more

Do not take your dog here. We brought our dog here a week ago and the result was awful. The cut was uneven and patchy. They also knicked his tail enough to make him bleed and let us take him home without telling us. Our dog has been wearing a cone now ever since. They also clipped all of his nails through his quicks. After warning them he had some separation anxiety they assured me they could handle him and they were right! The women Walked away with my dog as if it was hers. Buzz's grooming was highly recommended to me by a friend and I have not once been disappointed in the last several years that I've been coming here. My dogs and cat have short hair so they really do not require grooming service but I do bring them to get their nails trimmed, once a month. Everyone here is just so kind and gentle with my pets. My mom even started bringing her dog here to get groomed and she really likes it for her dog Logan doesn't come home traumatized like he used to with the previous grooming establishment that my mom would take him to. I had an incident today where I accidentally locked my dog (has heart condition) and cat in the car. Courtney (the owner) and Kristen immediately reacted when I told them what happened. Kristen called AAA but since they were not going to be able to arrive till 30 minutes and my mom wasn't picking up her phone (so she can bring me my spare) ....Kristen and Courtney offered to drive me to get the spare keys. Kristen was a rockstar getting me to my house in record time and Courtney never left my car.... watching my pets (ready to break my window) making sure they were ok. I cannot even explain how I felt nor the gratitude that I have for the dynamic duo. They are truly wonderful and kind animal lovers for they really showed this in the compassion in their action today. I brought my dogs in at 12 noon, and they said they'd be done grooming them in 2-3 hours. I called around 2:30 to check in because it was about 2.5 hours already, and I wanted to see how much longer they would take, and they said to come in at 3:30. I just called and now they're telling me 4:30 they'll be done and that they said "3:30 or longer". No, whoever spoke to me didn't say "3:30 or longer", she just said "come in at 3:30." The groomer told me my dogs were a handful. I've never had complaints from other groomers about my dogs, so these people are the first. My dogs are calm unless you give them a reason to bark at you, so these groomers are definitely doing something the other groomers aren't. Regardless, don't give me or any customer a specific time if you won't stand by it. I have work at 5:00 and these people are telling me to come in 30 minutes before work starts. I still have to drive home and make sure my dogs are situated before I leave. I understand you all have a long day of work, but so do your customers. Very unprofessional. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My dogs were tired and didn't want to play when I came to pick them up and usually they're ready to play when I pick them up from other facilities. read more

We love taking our dog Dexter here for grooming (even when they were in their other location). They are so nice there and somehow remember him (and us)! :) The groomer always asks us what we want (even though I really have no idea), and he comes out looking absolutely adorable! I take petunia every other week and sometimes more often depending on how much fun shes had on the weekends. Everyone there is always so accommodating and so sweet to our grumpy old lady. I used to frequent Buzz's for years, the location is on a corner in a small shopping center with plenty of parking so it's easy to get into. Unfortunately, I stopped going when they switched owners near the beginning of the year, BUT I just found out the original owners are taking back over and I cannot tell you how excited I am to return to my favorite grooming/pet store! My dog Button is looking forward to a fresh bath and some new treats! They also carry flea medicine and a wide variety of pet food, I definitely recommend checking them out. read more

If there was an option to place 0 stars i would. I took both of my dogs in for haircuts and baths. They butchered both of my pets after we had a thorough discussion on how I asked for them to be cut. When I picked them up I was almost in tears when I saw them. Bother of my dogs hair was chopped and ball patches were throughout the body. When I voiced my opinion the ladies were extremely rude and told me to take my dogs and leave. These ladies appear to be nice but instantly turned evil and rude to me and cruel to my dogs. Take my word for it, everyone is not cut out to be Groomers. This was my worst experience ever and will never set foot here again. I do not recommend this place at all!!!! Its a zero review i dropped off my dog at (september 1)12n and then i called to checked on my dog at 4;16 pm, i was wondering why it was taking so long. they told me that there were a lot of dogs ahead of us and said to pick him up in 45 minutes! At 5 16 pm they called to say he s ready for pick up. when i entered the groomers my dog was tied up by the corner because he doesn't like being locked up in the cage. now we get home and noticed he was completely exhausted and thirsty also i noticed that there's bloodstain on my dogs blanket. i got worried and checked my dog and i seen fresh wound on my dog's testicles. my daughter was wondering why he was so quiet, and while she was trying to play with him she noticed a large cut on his leg. it was red and tender so it was obviously a fresh wound. so i hurried back up the groomers and showed them the cut, they told us that it was already a scab and it looked like he cut his leg with his on nails. It was obviously a fresh wound and he wouldn't cut his leg that deep with his nails. It was a complete disappointment.My dog is traumatized. read more

drove 30 minutes to get my fur baby professionally groomed as they promised me they would do when i got there to pick my baby up it looked as if there hadent been anything done to his fur at all i asked them if they could get the hair off of his ears and the whiskers that were supposed to be removed my husband and i gave the ladies a picture of how we wanted our baby to be (of himself groomed) and they sent him out with a chunk of his ear missing and they knicked the other ear and tried to blame it on us for being there although the customer service was a great experience i cannot recommend nor take my fur baby back to the ladies my baby has been trembling hiding under the car seat and this is unacceptable i am furious they never came out and tried to address the situation they only put some quick stop on him i feel guilty for cheating on his groomer cant trust everyone with your fur babies be aware!!!!! the ladies did give us a full refund but this will not cover the trauma it has caused my little guy and my guilt for not waiting on his groomer !!! read more
