It was our first time visiting and we were quite impressed. When we entered we were greeted although they (all the staff members) were busy with other customers. Then we were asked by Shaunn if we needed anything. I loved his candor with the questions were we asking...he didn't know and asked Haylea to help us. As for Haylea, can't say enough good things about her...she knows her stuff. She and my son might as well have been speaking in tongues or a foreign language. The important thing is, she understood what he was talking about, wanted, and interested in, etc. so he could find something new. The check-out was super friendly, again, thanks to Shaunn...woot! We purchased a few things, but had some weird things happen when we downloaded the one code to the PC. Since the online support shut down early before their stated hours we were in a pickle. I called Haylea and she talked us through it...we really appreciated that. She didn't have to and it wasn't her job, but she wanted to. That is awesome customer service! If you've never been into a Game Stop before then you should know it's a gamer's paradise. They sell new and pre-owned games for every console. In addition, they sell the consoles themselves, controllers, etc. Plus, they have all the gadgets, paraphernalia and such for games. Moreover, they do offer a membership to gain points for games, etc. They have a free one and a pay option with more benefits. If you are someone you know is a gamer...this is definitely a place for you.

I was then greeted by the lady in the store and walked towards the back to check out the rest of the books. While it might seem tiny because it has a narrow hall, it does open up to a room filled with of books and as you go all the way to the back, you'll see the magical kids section. I really loved the kids section, the way it was decorated made you feel like you were no longer in a bookstore. Overall this is a great shop with some neat books, cute finds and beautiful plants. The books are also affordable, they have a shelf full of discounts, which is great! If I were closer I'd probably spend most of my time there.

Not only is there a wide selection of thoughtfully curated books, but they stock home decor, jewelry, totes, and other related book accessories as well. What I love most about this bookstore is the amazing community they've created through their partnership with other local businesses, artisans, and authors. They host fun events, book clubs, children's events, and have managed to create a truly safe place for their customers. The owner, the staff, and customers are all welcoming and friendly. I have enjoyed myself every time I have visited and met really wonderful people in the process. Please stop by if you are ever in the area, you'll be so glad you did!
