Went to buy some cards and was berated by some employee on a power trip. An absolutely terrible experience. F*ck this place.

Well...you know what they say about opinions...and everybody has one! Here's mine... I certainly don't understand the low rating for this store. It was our first time visiting and we were quite impressed. When we entered we were greeted although they (all the staff members) were busy with other customers. Then we were asked by Shaunn if we needed anything. I loved his candor with the questions were we asking...he didn't know and asked Haylea to help us. As for Haylea, can't say enough good things about her...she knows her stuff. She and my son might as well have been speaking in tongues or a foreign language. The important thing is, she understood what he was talking about, wanted, and interested in, etc. so he could find something new. The check-out was super friendly, again, thanks to Shaunn...woot! We purchased a few things, but had some weird things happen when we downloaded the one code to the PC. Since the online support shut down early before their stated hours we were in a pickle. I called Haylea and she talked us through it...we really appreciated that. She didn't have to and it wasn't her job, but she wanted to. That is awesome customer service! If you've never been into a Game Stop before then you should know it's a gamer's paradise. They sell new and pre-owned games for every console. In addition, they sell the consoles themselves, controllers, etc. Plus, they have all the gadgets, paraphernalia and such for games. Moreover, they do offer a membership to gain points for games, etc. They have a free one and a pay option with more benefits. If you are someone you know is a gamer...this is definitely a place for you. read more

Worst game stop I've ever been to. Multiple items with wrong stickers and wrong price and every time I asked if that price was for this game she said no and treated me like I was an idiot because the sticker for hitman 2 was a madden sticker with the wrong price. Worst attitude from employees and awful customer service! read more

I went in to trade some games in. A girl name Haylea was there, it was a awful experience. She was so rude to me and my friend. She has super short comments and rude remarks. I will defiantly not be going back inside if she's working there. read more

The blonde girl with the completely horrible attitude needs to get fired. She's rude every single time I'm in there and she holds up the lines for what seems like forever. The rest of the staff is just fine and helpful. This particular worker however needs to be given the boot. read more

Gamestop is a national chain of stores exclusively catering to the video game industry. I've been to a few across the country, and although they are all virtually identical, they are all great. Walking into the store, you're greeted by a playable Wii and PS3 system, and everywhere you look, it's video game heaven. This store is organized by game systems. The majority of the store is dedicated to the big 3- XBox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii. There are also smaller areas featuring Nintendo DS games, Playstation 2 games, I even saw some GameCube and Nintendo Gameboy Advance games. In each area, you'll noticed two different types of games for sale- New and used. The new games are priced around $60, pretty standard for big time new releases. The prices on the used games vary between the condition of the case, instruction manuals, etc... Usually around $15-30 bucks. The selection of games is pretty amazing, more than likely you'll find what you're looking for. You can even trade in your used games for money or discounts on different games! This store also sells the major video game systems, both new and used, and all the accessories you'll need for any system- controllers, wires, etc. They also offer up some sweet looking gift certificates which make amazing gifts for kids. The staff here is pretty knowledgeable, any question you might have on any games or systems, they'll be able to answer it. If you're a parent and don't know much about video game systems, you can feel comfortable coming here, the crew will answer any questions you might have, and also adhere to the video game ratings system, ensuring kids aren't buying Mature rated games. Anytime I need anything video game related, this is the place I shop. They always have the new releases in stock, their prices are comparable with any other store, and the service is top-notch. Worst customer service EVER! I visit my family here every year for Xmas and buy my nieces video games and EVERY time I go there an associate is unhelpful and or rude. Last year I wrote a review about how terrible it was and the associate and now this year it happened again! Only this time it was A totally different associate. I had read online the new NES Classic Edition was being shipped to all GameStop stores. I called last night and the lady told me they hadn't received anything and she asked me to call back in the morning, today. She told me they opened at 10am. It turned out they DID get the consoles, and they sold out the moment they opened, actually at 9am, not 10. What kind of employees do you have working there? I was willing to wait in line overnight if need be, so that when you open I could get my console. I missed my chance due to this incompetent member of staff. Extremely disappointing! read more
