The games are in good condition and the selection varies so you have to stop by regularly. I like them because I would rather support local. Because of the construction on Beach Blvd and the decrease in traffic Game Force is moving from Beach and San Pablo to Beach Blvd and 9A. I am sad to see them leaving the beach but I understand and will drive the extra couple of miles to support these guys.

Arcade games have changed so much over the years, so it's nice to be able to have access to them. All games take quarters and they do have a change machine. You can literally spend a few hours in here...just like the good ol' days for some of us. Moreover, there is a store where you can find a lot of older games for older consoles like the Wii, PS2, and Xbox360 to name a few. They have quite a few specials on older games as well. The store offers many other things as well other than playing or purchasing older games. They have gaming-type gifts and they do trades too. It's definitely worth a stop if you are a gamer, looking for a retro item and/or looking for a hard-to-find game or item for yourself or as a gift...or just want a trip down memory lane. The front housed everything video game-related from cables and consoles, to action figures, and of course, all the video games. But walk to the back right where the lights are dimmed and it becomes more noisy, boom...arcade. Lotsa pinball machines, old-school arcade machines, skeeball, air hockey, etc. We just wanted to check the place out and didn't play but this is a great place to settle a score hahaha. Also, it didn't appear that Saturday afternoon is a busy time as no one was in there playing. As we were leaving though, a father and son went back and I heard the token machine dispensing coins. Pretty nervous taking in some potentially very high dollar stuff, but they took care of me. Everyone was blown away by these cards, told them I had about 50 more at home, I just didn't want to bring too many in. Haven't touched my collection since the late 90's. They've been tucked away in storage. (Photo only shows 2 out of the 10 cards) Hoping to get some good grades. I will update the review in the process. It was our first time visiting and we were quite impressed. When we entered we were greeted although they (all the staff members) were busy with other customers. Then we were asked by Shaunn if we needed anything. I loved his candor with the questions were we asking...he didn't know and asked Haylea to help us. As for Haylea, can't say enough good things about her...she knows her stuff. She and my son might as well have been speaking in tongues or a foreign language. The important thing is, she understood what he was talking about, wanted, and interested in, etc. so he could find something new. The check-out was super friendly, again, thanks to Shaunn...woot! We purchased a few things, but had some weird things happen when we downloaded the one code to the PC. Since the online support shut down early before their stated hours we were in a pickle. I called Haylea and she talked us through it...we really appreciated that. She didn't have to and it wasn't her job, but she wanted to. That is awesome customer service! If you've never been into a Game Stop before then you should know it's a gamer's paradise. They sell new and pre-owned games for every console. In addition, they sell the consoles themselves, controllers, etc. Plus, they have all the gadgets, paraphernalia and such for games. Moreover, they do offer a membership to gain points for games, etc. They have a free one and a pay option with more benefits. If you are someone you know is a gamer...this is definitely a place for you.
