I came in for new tires and I already had one installed my front tires are 225 and my back ones are 245 they put a 245 on the right and 245 in the back but kept the 225 on the left and that lead to me breaking my inner fender and then I came back to them and said that it was my fault and that I said I wanted 245 in the front and that didn't happen. I don't recommend going there read more

We agreed on a price for the tires, I put a downpayment, I was issued an un-detailed receipt for the downpayment. I came back a week later to pick them up, the salesman had recollection of the tires and of our chat but said he had no recollection on the deal we made that got me to agree to buy them their. I've been a regular here for over 25 years putting on both summer and winter tires as well as steel rims and mag wheels on everything from sports cars through travel trailers. I have recommended them to many folks who have also become regular customers. I have never been disappointed nor had anything but pleasant dealings with all staff. read more

These guys have got it figured out and have got it right! In desperate need of new tires a friend suggested I try these guys. They had saved her a chunk of change for her tires, so I figured they'd be worth a shot. I called in for a quote and indeed found their prices to be more than reasonable. I asked about coming in to have the tires put on my car and was told they operate on a first come first serve basis. After getting horribly twisted around (I'm terrible with directions) I arrived at 4:50, they close at 5:00. Worst case I figured I'd just buy the tires and worry about installation later. They were more than happy to install them even though they were about to close. They didn't even bat an eyelash. They took my car and I braced for a wait. 15mins later I'm back in my car heading home. Yes, you read that correctly: 15 minutes. It seems tires is all they do so they've got it down to a science. Literally. It seems this is a family run business where their customer satisfaction really matters to them. Do yourself and them a favor and skip Crappy Tire or Wallyworld and pay them a visit the next time you need tires. The price can't be beat and their service is great! I'll be heading back in the spring when I'm on the hunt for summer tires, for sure! read more

1 star is far too much for these people. I have a toyota corolla only a couple years old. Went there to get rims for my tires and they sold me the dinkiest looking rims ( all i could afford at the time ) but I have had problems with people putting on my tires since then! They put the rims on the tires for me and someone had actually joked that its almost like they drilled holes to make them fit. really does seem like thats what they did! Finally got some answers after driving on them for a year or two. took them to a mechanic and he was outraged that i have been driving on these this long and havent died on the highway yet. the rims were forced to fit my car. They obviously knew this but wanted the sale. Beyond furious. DONT GO HERE FOR RIMS, clearly they do not care about safety. read more

These guys are unethical HACKS. I took some tires in to be to be put onto my very nice rims. They put major scratches on the rims and took no accountability for doing it. if you take your vehicle here take a picture on site with them as a witness as to what your rims look like before they start and what they look like after they are finished otherwise they'll deny any scratching, denting or destruction of the rims. If you have very good rims take them elsewhere. read more

UPDATED - Bought a new car which has a different tire size to my old one and so needed new winter tires and also rims. I had such a great experience here last time so of course, this is the first place I went to. Sometimes, as a female who knows little about vehicles, I can walk out of a place and wonder if I've been ripped off, but not here. Again, same brilliant, fast, professional service on a Saturday with no scheduled appointment. New tires, new rims, assembled, paid for, loaded into my car, in less than 15 mins. Same polite and helpful experience as before. Same easy to understand explanation of the differences between various tire options. Too early to put them on my vehicle and so all I need to do closer to the snow, is bring them back and they will install on my car without additional charge. Slick operation and consistent standard of great service. ORIGINAL REVIEW 2 YEARS AGO....12TH OCT 2015 Getting new tires is normally such a pain in the butt! I work two jobs 6am until 5pm and then 6pm until 9pm so for me, even finding someone who is open, means going on a Saturday normally and waiting and waiting. I called at 1.30pm on a Saturday to get a price on four new winters tires - a task I'd been dreading. As it happened, they were having a tire sale. I was expecting to have to make an appointment for a different day and then have that day wasted waiting to be seen. Not these guys though! "Come anytime" they said. So off I went. I got there around 2.15pm, was served, had my old tires taken off my Winter rims, my new tires put on the rims, all four tires installed, my all seasons placed inside my vehicle, and here I am having walked back in my front door, less than an hour later. I think I was only there about 30 mins in total - on a Saturday, in October, when they have a sale on! Really friendly guys. Really professional service. And complete respect for my time. They've got it down to exactly what you need and when you want it. In and out, smooth as can be. This will now always be my first point of call because not only was their service brilliant but their price's can't be beaten. Thanks very much the appropriately named "Star Tires". read more

Other then being just a tire spot, I've never been disappointed with the service or prices! Where else can you walk in to with no appointment, a officr full of customers and you're still in and out in under a half hour! Not sure how they do it but they do it right! read more

They did a bait and switch on my husband when he went in to buy tires. I had proof of that..and went back the very next day ...they wouldn't give my money back but they did when i showed them the letter i was going to submit to the BBB complaining. Beware of what you are buying..do not take their word for it... read more

Been going here for years now. I've bought tires and just gone for installing and balancing of tires. Always satisfied with thier service. Just went to have some new winter tires balanced and as always they took care of me promptly without an appointment. read more

No appointment necessary and service was quick and friendly. I sat down to wait and was pleasantly surprised by how quick they were. The waiting room is a little shabby but what else do you expect in a garage. They also offered to check the tires on my other vehicle for free which I thought was generous. There is a reason they have had a successful business for 20+ years. read more

Be very careful with this dealership they are not trustworthy at all. I was told if I bought winter and summer tirs & rims ( $3000 for my two cars), they will give lifetime Free installation rotation. They did that for couple of years and now on my 3rd year they refused to do it. I have seen other customers complain about them in the waiting room. On a number of occasions I had items missing from car after service. Bottom line, avoid them if you can. Not recommended as they dont care about customer royalty. read more

Can't imagine why Star tires has been given such good ratings! A few years back I bought a set of tires from them ( yes their prices are competitive) and while my car was being worked on I could hear the fellow putting my wheel nuts with the air gun. On a few of them about half way through the tightening process the air gun slowed down and it sounded as if he had put them on cross thread. I mentioned this to the cashier when I was paying and when I got home ( since I had to put on snows anyway) I started taking off the tires. It didn't take long to discover the first cross thread wheel nut as it caused the stud to snap off as I tried to take it off. I went back to them with 3 wheel nuts in the wheel and after a lot of arguing he very reluctantly agreed to have a shop repair the broken stud. A few days later I decided to start putting the snows on again and once again found another cross thread wheel nut that snapped off the stud as I tried to take it off. I drove back once again to discuss this problem with management. When I asked for them to again repair their mistake again, the owner became extremely rude and belligerent, accusing me of lying while using profanity to get his point across and essentially kicking me off the property. I had purchased tires from them previously and experienced no issues. However, as a result of this problem I will never go there again and strongly recommend that you find a place that takes more caution doing your job and backs up their work properly. Yes their prices are reasonable but as I discovered respectful customer service has great value as well read more

They sold me winter rims and tires. They installed them and I thought the tires looked different on the truck. It turned out the offset was wrong and the front tires had been rubbing against the suspension. I took it back to them they did not apologize, I found him rather rude and they charged me an installation fee to remove the tires from the rims. He replaced the tires which now had a grove on the inside sidewall. He even insisted that the groove on the inside sidewall was not a safety hazard. My brother also had a bad experience with them. This is a place I would avoid. read more

I took my car in for a 4 tire change, using my alloy rims. So they had to take off the old tire and put on the new from each rim. Well they did a HACK job on the rims. The alloy rim beforehand had your usual minor nicks from 4 years of driving. After the tire change each rim had never before a large wide scratch circle scraping around the outside perimeter of each rim ruining and totally devaluing the alloys. I noticed this right away and pointed it out. They took no blame of any type. Totally refusing to take any responsibility of the hack job. Claimed I brought in in that way (a lie), totally low brow customer service. High tech tire changer or not they ruined the look of the rims did not accommodate in any way. If you use these guys which I do not recommend Take photos of your rims in front of them as proof of the state just you get nabbed with a HACK job. read more

I was having a hard time finding a place to put my winter tires on (why does no garage book appointments for that?). I drove by Star Tires, and decided to see if they could fit me in. No problem! I was in and out in just over an hour, and they also plugged a nail hole in one of my winter tires and wouldn't let me pay for it. While there, I was listening to different people talk in the waiting room. One woman was saying she only goes to Star Tires, mostly because of the excellent service she receives every time. Another woman said they had the best prices on tires in the city, hands down. Since this was my first visit, I'm only giving 4 stars. However, I'll be back in the spring to buy rims for my all seasons, and if I get the same quality service, I'll bump my rating up to 5 stars. read more
