Phone calls, emails, and visits to collision shops ensued. Everybody wanted to replace the door panel, resulting in insane four-digit amounts. However, there was also the Dent Specialist who specializes in paintless dent removal. It's located in Beechville, a bit further west from Bayers Lake Business Park, in the back of the building that houses Popes Advanced Windows and Doors. The Dent Specialist (his name is Troy) closely cooperates with Gerry, who runs ChipsAway, a paint shop in the same location. They share their shop. After Troy had removed the dent, Gerry repainted the area. They also removed an old dent free of charge that my car already had when I bought it, near the driver's door handle. In total I paid about a quarter of what I would have paid at a collision shop, and it looks truly excellent. However, I also have a bit of criticism: Troy and Gerry need to work on their organizational skills. I had to drop off my car a total of three times -- one extra time since Troy thought he'd have enough time but didn't, and one extra time since Gerry had to fix his original paint job. That having said, their work seems to be excellent and is a great value, so if they improve their organizational skills a bit they certainly deserve five stars.

When they arrived they also informed me they had a trainee who buffed out some scratches, popped a dent out and cleaned the interior of the car, no charge ( double WOW). His name is Barry Pincock but he now goes by Barry Von Werth.. Definitely check those names out before you purchase. Also, my inspection is being looked over by DOT. Because the car was a complete failure within 300 km. When I get the report back from DOT. I'll make another post and I'll let you know what they said. Extreme caution with these people. My family went here for YEARS, but the new ownership will soon ruin that for anyone who used to go here. My son recently brought his car there to have ONE tire *(which he provided, himself) installed and balanced and was charged $57.50, when they only charge $100 for all four. I approached the manager and asked him if this was a mistake and seemed exorbitant and unfair......and he assured me it was not. No respect and unethical. Hope they invested my son's money wisely, as they've seen the last of my family coming to them. No value, no fairness, not returning. I doubt they care much, as their lot is completely jammed up (to the point that you can't find parking) with Auction Direct cars, meaning they are now more interested in flipping cars, than repairing them, anyway.
